[3rd POV]
Staring at the man that entered, Wanda hummed. He was a rather normal looking person, so you would never think he was a member of the Endless. But he was Destruction, one of the strongest members of the Endless.
Although he was still below Destiny and Death. With Death being the strongest of them all since she would come for all, including her own siblings. With only higher entities like Lucifer being unbound from her.
'He kind of looks like a lumberjack'
"I was wondering when one of you would come in. Death did tell me that you lot were interested in visiting, but that was a while ago" Wanda said with a small smile on her face, as the man shrugged.
"We get busy, you know, being personifications and all. But my sister was right, you're store is incredible. Is it truly in a miniature multiverse?" Destruction asked as he looked around the store, no doubt sensing the power that was rippling throughout it thanks to how powerful some of the books were, and the wards and seals that were in the store.
Wanda laughed "Not that big just yet, but it's more like a small cluster of universes in size. And that is only because I have hundreds of miniature dimensions scattered throughout that I use for all sorts of things"
"Oh? What sort of things?" Destruction asked, curious.
"Well I have a livestock dimension that I use for getting my eggs, meats, and other stuff like that. Including some very rare and unique variants that I have personally made. Like my "Galaxy Pig" which is made up of an actual galaxy, tastes incredible too" Wanda replied, before continuing.
"There's the plant dimension which is where all of my unique plants are being grown. There's the training dimension which lets those that train in their grow several times faster than otherwise. The meditation dimension which massively improves meditation techniques and such. I could go on and on, but it would take me days to explain them all" Wanda finished, as the man looked interested at the mention of the meditation dimension.
But he didn't say anything more about it, and instead looked around the shop at the various books that were radiating power. Some of them, he could tell had a deep connection to the very concept of destruction, aka him. Which was a very curious thing, so he looked over at Wanda.
"Is it alright if I browse?"
"Of course, and the books that you might be interested in are in the philosophy section, by the way" Wanda replied, knowing exactly what type of books he was interested in getting. He wanted to see what other universes thought of the concept fo destruction and destruction in general.
So the philosophy section had what was probably the best selection for that sort of thing out of all of them. As there were a LOT of disciplines that spoke of destruction, and even more of them had unique and different beliefs on it and what it represented.
Watching him walk off to begin looking around, Wanda hummed.
'He's pretty strong, a lot stronger than I was expecting out of Death's sibling. But I suppose it makes sense, he is the embodiment of destruction, which is a primordial force that will eventually end everything. While Death will then come for him' Wanda hummed, knowing that Destiny and Death were likely the only other two that were guaranteed stronger than him.
She wasn't sure about Dream, but he was probably around the same level of power as him. And there was also Delirium, Despair and Desire. She doubted the three of them were as strong as Dream, but she had never met them so she truly had no idea.
She also could tell that Destruction was intrinsically different from Death, especially when it came to their personality. But he was also not nearly as connected to the lives of others as Death was, thanks to his very being centering around destruction, he was largely unbothered by the death of others.
Only Death and Dream were truly caring in that area, the others were more so about amusement or interest than anything. They did care for the rare ones, but that was IMMENSELY rare, and did not happen more than a few times...ever.
Watching the man shop, Wanda went back to reading her book, her children all glancing at the man before shrugging seeing as their mother was not bothered by his presence.
While she was reading through her book, Wanda heard the door to the shop ding as another person entered the shop. And this time, it was a very recognizable customer that had not come around in a while.
It was Death.
She had a small smile on her face as she entered, especially once she had noticed her brother over in the distance reading through the books on destruction, its concepts, the beliefs around it, and similar areas. Her brother didn't look back at her, but she knew that he felt her enter, and knew that she was there.
All of her siblings could instinctively feel when another's avatar was nearby. So it wasn't difficult for him to know that she was there.
"I was wondering when you'd come back into the shop. Did you finally decide to give me another visit, or is it because your brother is here?" Wanda asked, putting her book down to give Death her full attention, as that was the proper thing to do.
"Can't it be both?" Death asked with a small smirk on her face, as Wanda snorted.
"So the latter it is" Wanda replied, as Death flinched at the words, knowing that they were the truth. Had Destruction not entered the shop, Death wouldn't have even realized that it had been a while since she had come in. And she wouldn't have come to the shop.
"...I apologize, Wanda. I've been dealing with my duties back in the DC multiverse, and was getting a bit preoccupied. I was also spending my time reading those books I bought from you. Time for us members of the Endless is...far less noticeable, and a singular day to me, is akin to that of a zeptosecond to normal humans. So infinitesimally small that it simply passed by and you don't even realize it" Death responded, with te zeptosecond being the smallest measurement of time possible.
Meaning it was a trillionth of a billionth of a second. Literally impossible to even count.
"Hmm, I suppose I cannot stay angry with you or anything. But...I would love if you perhaps...made it up to me in the form of a date" Wanda suggested, as Death looked at her in surprise.
Wanda still had the go ahead from Raven to get with Death, and Wanda was still interested in the idea of being with both of them at the same time. She was still hoping to enter into a proper relationship with Death, but she had to actually go on some proper dates before then.
Death stared at her in silence for a few more moments, before a wide smile slowly began to form on her face.
"I would absolutely love to go on another date with you, Wanda. How about this weekend at 6? I can set it up again this time, and I'm sure I can shock you once again~" Death said, very interested in the idea of a date with the woman before her.
"It's a date" Wanda replied with her own smile slowly forming onto her face, very excited for the next date. And she hoped the said date would go further than her past ones.
"Great! Now, what is my brother trying to buy?" Death asked, deciding to move onto the reason why she was there in the first place. Wanda raised an eyebrow, before responding.
"Books on the Concepts of destruction, the philosophy behind it, and some other ones related, why do you ask?" Wanda answered, interested to hear.
"Because I'd like to buy out your entire stock" Death replied with a grin, knowing what she was asking for.
Wanda blinked at her words, before snorting as she realized that Death wanted to prank her brother.
"Well, my dear, that is not really possible. I have an infinite stock of every book in my shop. How about instead of cutting off his ability to buy out stock, you prank the books themselves? Perhaps a momentary inscription in the book that messes with him or something of the sort?" Wanda suggested, as she hummed.
"No, that's a bit too boring for me" Death replied, before Wanda glanced over, and a smirk began to form on her face.
"How about you consult with the true masters of the art?" Wanda said, looking at Milim and Naruto, with Death looking over at them and then back at her, and grinned, running off to talk with them.
Watching her leave, Wanda chuckled, one thought on her mind.
'This'll be interesting'
