Chapter 2092 - Chapter 2071 – Dark Domain

The Dark Domain.

Ever since the fusion of the myriad worlds began, the Dark Domain had remained in a constant state of chaos. Although it teemed with countless living beings, it was also suffused with deceit, evil, and brutality. Cities formed the core of this realm, but both within and outside them, slaughter reigned supreme. People killed for treasures, fought over resources, battled for women, and seized rare artifacts.

Slaughter, chaos, and sin—these were the very themes of this land.

Simply put: the good lived as the lowest of the low, while only the wicked could survive in this realm.

Of course, another saying held true here: Only the strong define good and evil. The strong make the rules. Whether one chose to do good or evil, it all depended on personal will—no one could restrain them.

In this place, good and evil had no absolute boundaries.

Swish!!

At this moment, outside a city in the Dark Domain known as Dark City, two figures stepped out of the void.

One wore a long cyan robe; the other was clad in an elegant white palace dress. They walked side by side, looking every bit like a graceful couple—handsome and beautiful. Their appearance was striking and drew attention immediately.

They were none other than Yi Tianxing and Nannan.

"Dark City is no longer the Dark City it once was. Not only has it grown larger, but it's also been remodeled into a Xian City of a Destiny Dynasty. Its original appearance is completely gone. I wonder who governs it now," said Nannan, looking at the city ahead with complex emotions in her eyes.

In her memory, Dark City left an indelible mark. In her childhood, she lived there with her grandfather, only to lose her only family within those city walls—but it was also where she gained her one and only elder brother. There had been too many firsts for her in this place. Though it was far from a paradise—indeed, it was more a city of sin than of peace—its meaning to her was unique and profound.

She had never imagined she would return after leaving. Now, standing before it again, her heart stirred with countless feelings.

The city was now at least a hundred times larger than before, sprawling across a vast territory. Judging by its scale, it was not inferior to a royal capital, capable of housing tens of millions. The city walls were forged from Black Obsidian Demonstone, a rare material that naturally absorbed dark energy. This gave the walls not only immense durability but a nearly indestructible nature. Even if damaged during the day, they would repair themselves at night by drawing in dark power.

Such a material bestowed the city with a nearly immortal quality.

The use of this kind of material clearly revealed the deep foundations of Dark City.

Along the walls stood warriors clad in black armor, faces expressionless and cold, guarding the city with ruthless discipline. There was no emotion in their eyes—only ice and apathy. Just looking at them evoked primal fear. These were clearly warriors of darkness, ever-prepared for slaughter.

Each one radiated terrifying power, no weaker than a Sun (Yang) God Realm cultivator. The oppressive weight of their aura suggested a terrifying depth. And these were just the guards on the wall—there were likely millions of them in the city. A terrifying force indeed.

Through the wide city gates, a steady flow of beings moved in and out.

Humans and non-humans alike—vampires, beastmen, elves, dwarves, and more. Yet as they approached the gate, one could sense their deep respect and fear. There was no sign of disrespect. The position of Dark City in their hearts was clearly monumental—this was real fear.

No one dared to fly within the city, no matter how strong they were. The moment they neared the perimeter, they landed and walked in on foot.

Clearly, a strict no-flying rule was enforced here. Violation likely led to severe consequences.

"Let's go. According to intel from the Hall of Calamities, Dark City is among the top-tier mega-cities in the entire Dark Domain," Yi Tianxing said calmly. "The forces here are centered around cities. It's similar to my Great Yi Dynasty in structure but different in governance—there's no unification. Every city rules itself. This domain can't be unified unless an absolute supreme power arises to dominate everything. Otherwise, chaos and slaughter are its destined state."

According to the reports, Shen Wansan had already established a firm presence here. The Wantong Trading Company was well known in Dark City.

BOOOOM!

Just as Yi Tianxing and Nannan prepared to enter the city—

A divine light suddenly burst forth from within. A pitch-black war chariot, pulled by nine demonic dragons, shot across the sky. It flew directly over Dark City, blatantly ignoring the no-flying rule. For this chariot, the law was meaningless—nonexistent.

On the war chariot stood a young man clad in black battle armor. His expression was cold and proud, exuding a terrifying aura. Surrounding him were hundreds of elite guards riding Darknight Unicorn Pegasi, black-winged steeds with black horns. These beasts were lightning-fast and extremely powerful—each one priceless.

There were over a thousand such guards. Their auras were equally formidable—clearly elite.

And yet, the city dwellers watching this scene showed only envy and awe.

"The Dark Saint Son is heading out again. Looks like he's going back to attack the White Lotus Forbidden Zone."

"He's already tried over a hundred times and failed every time. Each time he comes back injured. Wonder how long he'll last this time before he's sent packing again."

"Rumor has it the ruler of that zone is a woman called White Lotus Celestial Maiden. She's a peerless beauty, flawless in appearance and temperament. Some say that after seeing her once, they'd willingly become slaves in her domain just to gaze upon her every day. Even for a thousand or ten thousand years—they'd do it gladly."

"They say the Dark Saint Son keeps launching attacks just to capture her—but so far, he hasn't even seen her face before being forced to retreat."

The surrounding cultivators gossiped openly, clearly familiar with the Dark Saint Son.

He was the son of Dark City's lord. At his birth, it was said that day turned into night, and the world trembled. He was born bearing the origin of darkness, a true child of darkness, blessed with incredible talent.

"Hmph... Interesting. Peak of the True Spirit Realm," Yi Tianxing said, looking up. "This Dark Saint Son isn't simple. His body… carries something very familiar to me."

It reminded him of someone or something—but he said no more.

The two entered the city.

"Entrance fee: ten dark coins per person," said a cold voice at the gate.

"I have Eternal Coins. How do you calculate the exchange?" Yi Tianxing asked calmly.

"Ten Eternal Iron Coins," the gate officer replied. "Once you enter, no more fees unless you exit and re-enter."

Yi Tianxing nodded and paid. From this, he inferred that dark coins were the primary local currency—roughly equivalent in value to Eternal Iron Coins, though Eternal Coins were likely more desirable.

Dark Coins were jet-black and carried a unique dark aura, infused with divine essence, making them useful for cultivation and mana enhancement.

Inside the city, things were bustling.

Countless races mingled along the streets. Vendors sold everything from beast materials to minerals, magic talismans, divine weapons, and more.

"Brother, Eternal Coins are already in circulation. Looks like they're popular," Nannan observed. Transactions were done in both currencies, but Eternal Coins clearly had more appeal. Some people even blew on them or held them to their ears to hear the crisp ring, as if savoring the sound.

Suddenly—

"Brothers! The Tiger-Wolf Gang dared to kill our Ax Gang brothers! Kill them all!"

Up ahead, two groups clashed in the streets. One side wielded axes with murderous intent; the other was composed mostly of beastmen—tigerfolk and werewolves.

With a cry, battle erupted. Limbs flew, blood splattered, screams filled the air.

Yet none of the nearby vendors panicked. They simply rolled up their stalls and stepped aside, watching the fight like it was a common occurrence.

Chaos, slaughter, screaming, and bloodshed.

The surrounding crowd didn't flee—they cheered. Excitedly.

Truly, no one feared conflict here.

"Dark City is still Dark City," Nannan said coldly, her eyes flashing with frost.
