"Are you saying that now the Goddess instructs you to leave immediately and take care of your own affairs?"
Leonard sighed after hearing Lann's words.
He pressed the forehead of his silver mask, seemingly pondering something.
It was a long while before he spoke.
"And what about you? What do you think?"
Hearing this, Lann raised an eyebrow.
Instead of answering Leonard's question, he asked back.
"I thought you would meticulously fulfill the will of the Goddess."
Instead of questioning Lann about his own thoughts when the Goddess had told Lann to leave.
"I am the Knight of the Goddess, a 'Finger of Rosalie'. My purpose from beginning to end has been to protect Rosalie."
Leonard removed his hand from the silver mask, folded his arms, and spoke plainly.
"But sometimes, those who are being protected do not know what they truly need. That's where I come in."
"Are you saying that the Goddess needs me now, and it's unwise for her to tell me to leave immediately?"
