Chapter 371 - 1st

However, it was only when Blaine drew closer that he discovered how extraordinary this structure truly was. Because it sat at the bottom of the elliptical depression, he hadn't felt its scale before. Now, standing in front of it, Blaine realized that the building was actually taller than three green titans stacked together.

The overall shape of the structure resembled the pyramids of ancient Egypt, except that the top of this "pyramid" appeared to have been cut flat, forming a level plane, like a prism. From its design alone, it seemed that the building before Blaine was an altar constructed by some unknown dynasty.

Using teleportation once more, Blaine instantly transferred himself onto the platform of the altar.

In that moment, Blaine's heart seemed to be struck by a voltage of a hundred million volts. It contracted violently, almost stopping altogether.

It wasn't because the scene before him was horrifying in appearance, but because the thing in front of him—when Blaine looked at it directly—emanated an aura so terrifying that it made his instincts scream.

Swallowing hard, taking a deep breath, and steadying his emotions, Blaine carefully examined what stood before him.

It was nothing else but a corpse—more precisely, a mummy. A mummy clad in armor. Behind it was a throne made entirely of pure Vibranium. Beneath its feet, traces of withered, heart-shaped herbs could be faintly seen.

The figure sat there quietly, its arms naturally crossed over its chest, as though it had been performing some solemn ritual before death.

The armor itself was extremely special. Even Blaine, who had traveled tens of billions of light-years and considered himself well-informed, could not identify the material it was made from. Yet he was certain that, even on a cosmic scale, this armor would rank among the finest. And although Blaine did not know its material, he knew exactly whose armor it was.

From its form alone, the identity was unmistakable. The pure-black armor gleamed with a cold luster against the Vibranium backdrop, sending chills through the body and making one's chest feel heavy, as if facing a ferocious beast. It was precisely this dark sheen that had caught Blaine's attention earlier—otherwise, in such a dim environment, he might have overlooked the black armor entirely.

And indeed, this suit of armor was shaped like a leopard. Its obsidian eyes shone with a soul-stirring aura. It was those eyes that had delivered such a tremendous shock when Blaine first met their gaze.

This leopard-shaped armor looked far more detailed and powerful than T'Challa's. Every inch of it radiated something extraordinary. Especially the extended claws—just looking at them caused a tingling sensation, enough to convey their terrifying sharpness. Blaine was certain that even Vibranium placed before them would be sliced apart like tofu under a keen blade.

Without a doubt, if Blaine's guess was correct, this armor belonged to Wakanda's first-generation Black Panther.

Yet for some reason, as Blaine faced the suit, an inexplicable sense of familiarity welled up inside him, as if this armor were deeply connected to him. He even felt that it had been made by his own hands. But Blaine could say with absolute certainty that he had never crafted such a suit of armor.
