The storm was approaching.

Although it originated from a very distant location, none of the Pokémon—except for Lucario—had been able to detect this purposeful arrival through their experience alone. However, despite their lack of direct awareness, they could all sense something different about their surroundings, a subtle shift in the atmosphere of this place.

Without exception, every Pokémon turned their attention in the same direction. At this moment, battling had become meaningless. Since there was no immediate threat in the vicinity, they could afford to pause their sparring matches and investigate this new development.

One by one, several Pokémon gathered around Roy, their eyes fixed on the spark of energy in the jungle that was steadily heading toward them. Although they couldn't determine whether this approaching spark represented friend or foe, they all positioned themselves protectively near Roy, ensuring that he would be shielded from harm at the first sign of danger. Their vigilant protection filled Roy's heart with warmth.

"Don't worry," Roy said calmly. "If this were a Pokémon with genuine hostile intentions, Lucario would have detected it long before it reached us. Of course, this Pokémon might have some reservations about me, but it's definitely not coming here to fight."

Despite Roy's reassuring words, the other Pokémon maintained their guard. Wild Pokémon they didn't recognize were often the most dangerous, regardless of what intentions this particular Pokémon might have. If it showed even the slightest hint of aggression, every Pokémon surrounding Roy would immediately regard it as an enemy. Should a major battle erupt here, the environmental destruction could extend for hundreds of miles across the region.

Lucario stood at the forefront, its body enveloped in a light blue aura of Aura power. This Aura energy served multiple purposes—it could perceive things beyond what the naked eye could see and detect the surrounding terrain. The range of detectable terrain expanded continuously. Even though the approaching entity hadn't yet arrived, it would be thoroughly analyzed by this invisible force.

Roy closed his eyes as well, and a blue glow emanated from his hands. Through the Aura power created by Lucario, their combined abilities allowed them to perceive all the creatures in the Hoenn region. That strange, lightning-fast creature approaching them became clearly visible. As the Aura power spread wider, Roy could finally identify what kind of creature this golden lightning truly was through his Aura perception.

"So it's him..." Roy murmured.

"To encounter the strongest Electric-type Mythical Pokémon in this place... This is a Pokémon I greatly admire. It's no exaggeration to say it rivals even Legendary Pokémon. It seems I've found quite a treasure, considering it possesses such incredible speed..."

Within the blue Aura's influence, he could clearly make out the appearance of this Electric-type Mythical Pokémon.

Zeraora had a feline appearance and walked upright. It had blue pads on its hands and lightning bolt-shaped patterns of blue and black across its body, with blue predominantly covering the upper portions.

Zeraora's fur was primarily yellow and black. Thinner, darker fur covered its lower legs, lower body, upper arms, and face, while thicker, yellower fur adorned the rest of its form. A zigzag black stripe ran across each thigh, and two more marked each forearm. A small tuft of light blue fur adorned its chest, and ten long tufts extended from its forehead. Ten lightning-shaped blue whiskers sprouted from each cheek, and a long, ponytail-like tuft of fur extended from between its shoulders.

Zeraora possessed large ears with black interiors and brilliant blue eyes. Its front paws had four clawed fingers with light blue pads, while its hind paws featured only three clawed toes. Overall, it cut a very striking figure.

Based on Roy's understanding, Zeraora's presence here likely had some connection to Guzzlord from the past. That would explain why he had encountered two such formidable Pokémon in the same location.

"Everyone, please stay calm," Roy said gently. "The Pokémon approaching us shouldn't pose any danger. According to my knowledge, this species has a gentle personality and has never displayed aggressive behavior toward humans."

Roy spoke soothingly to comfort the Pokémon around him. Presumably, Zeraora had already sensed their presence upon arriving in this area. In such a confined space, it should be as powerful as the several Pokémon standing beside Roy.

Roy and Lucario opened their eyes simultaneously. The Aura power was incredibly useful—before this energy source had even reached their position, they had already learned the true identity of this mysterious being.

In fact, while they were connecting through the Aura, Lucario had used its Aura communication to ask a question: who was more powerful—Roy himself, or the Electric-type Mythical Pokémon in the distance?

"Although it is a powerful Electric-type Mythical Pokémon, its training level is unknown. So in terms of actual combat power, Lucario, you're still superior..." Roy answered.

Roy's response reflected his confidence: would the Pokémon he had raised since childhood be weaker than a Mythical Pokémon from elsewhere? Of course not. With his guidance, his Lucario had long since reached a level comparable to Legendary Pokémon. Could those Legendary Pokémon, without undergoing any specialized training, truly be Lucario's rival? More often than not, the Pokémon he had personally trained could demonstrate greater strength.

Lucario conveyed a wave of joy, expressing its admiration and trust in its Trainer.

The spark of energy slowed down, stopping just a few dozen meters from where Roy stood. For an incredibly fast Mythical Pokémon like this one, such a short distance could be covered in the blink of an eye.

"You are a powerful being. What brings you here now, Zeraora?" Roy called out.

The upright-walking Pokémon communicated its purpose in plain, straightforward words.

"I heard that you humans encountered Guzzlord in this area. That is a very dangerous Pokémon. I hope you will stay away from it. Unlike other Pokémon, it does not maintain a peaceful attitude toward humans. This Pokémon may not actively harm humans in non-provoking situations, but at the very least, it regards everything in this world as potential food. Only occasionally will it attack living creatures of significant size!"
