Through this process, they might get closer and closer… to discovering what might be… True!

This all would have been well and good.
Except for one strange 'problem'.

At first, Carmen had just assumed that it was normal - that people could naturally perceive - with reasonable accuracy - to receive, and separate out truth from fallacy.
But slowly but surely - even as she just simply, naturally, *noticed* an accumulation of details - a particular, peculiar picture began to emerge - that save for a sudden… *surge* of undeniable proof [and not always even then]…
The majority of people… couldn't actually see the 'Truth'.
Or perhaps, instead, they simply preferred the… comfort of what they wanted to believe, choosing to 'focus' more on what they wanted to perceive…?!

Easie Pickings had been becoming more and more withdrawn. And lately, she had become more and more forlorn.
It started off with little things. Her clothes that had become increasingly disheveled and worn.
And then, it had been her artwork, which had been 'unfortunately' torn… in two,

Carmen had immediately noticed that Easie was clearly the target of another classmate's hate…
Simply because Easie had been asked on a date…
By someone that another girl in their class - Bu Li - had liked.
As a result, Bu Li had decided to 'put Easie in her place', in ways that wouldn't leave a trace…
Or so she thought…
