At last, one day, Carmen decided to speak up, seeing and wanting to ease… Easie 🫢✨ in her plight.

And so. Carmen had explained what she had observed, which understandably had gotten Easie perturbed.

Unfortunately, Easie it seemed, had been a little too easy-going, apparently wanting to let things slide - wanting, to 'avoid the confrontation'.
And this… *distortion* of the Truth, left unresolved and unrevealed… was what had led Carmen to proceed further with her 'Investigation'.
She had to bring the Truth to light - only then, could things be made right…!!!

"Bu Li; I know what you did to Easie."
Carmen informed the bully Bu Li one day - that she knew the truth.
"Admit it. Turn yourself in. Otherwise I'll be handing *this* over to Admin ✨"
At this, Carmen held up the storage device - the proof in the pudding, on a [hard-drive] platter - and which completely documented the truth of the whole matter…!
Carmen - at the time - had still been quite young and naive. At that point, she had still believed… that Bu Li would do the right thing - the Truth was, after all, now documented with proof - and made clear, so as far as she was concerned, it was time to wrap things up here.
Unfortunately. As she had soon come to learn.
There had still been one more dark, and dangerous turn.
As it turned out, Bu Li didn't really want to subscribe to Carmen's views on the importance of uncovering and discovering 'the Truth' - or at least, that 'particular version' of it… 👀✨
Rather, instead, she was far more interested in *re*-covering - and then hiding and burying - the evidence of her crimes - and of course, silencing the meddlesome person who had ~fortunately~, given her time… to 'sort things out'…
This had ultimately involved entreating a bunch of delinquent thugs to 'mess about'… with Carmen, keep her quiet, terrified, scared - then, she would see if Carmen Composéd dared… to threaten her, the [self-imagined] Queen Bee, Bu Li!!! Give that annoying person a… taste of real-world… misery!!!
Bu Li's originally despairing eyes deadened, and then deepened, into a desperate, dark delight…
As she imagined Carmen, in a terrible fright…

Fortunately, Carmen had immediately noticed the cliché - as well as the fact that she was currently being followed [big welp... 🌻] - and so she sent out a message - a preprepared distress signal for help!
It also of course helped that she had studied and trained in ninjutsu from a young age, [since Author figured that would be cool, and well why not!?!?! 🤭✨]
That said, she knew that in a real fight - a matter of life and death - there were no guarantees - and only probabilities…
Anyway. At this point, Carmen had artfully managed to make her pursuers think that they had her 'trapped', and then, after she surreptitiously tapped.. the 'record' button on her phone, she managed to get them to talk - and find out - that they weren't acting alone!
Bu Li had apparently 'paid them' 👀✨ to retrieve the evidence Carmen had captured - and they had also been encouraged to 'capture Carmen' too, in order to make sure that, for the future, she would know better - what she should or shouldn't do… !!! 😱⚡️⛈️😡👿🌻✨💫

Luckily, this novel - written with the general [Intention] of ultimately life-affirming entertainment and enjoyment - is of course 'PG' for a reason - and even more 'luckily and conveniently', Carmen's practiced ninjutsu-techniques, calm and composed character design, and sheer badass aura were naturally enough to dispatch of the garden-grade goons - and later on, when the police arrived, both the low-life loons - and Bu Li - were singing very different tunes… ✨🔥

It turned out that the world was a lot more interesting than she thought.
