"The Great Sage Toad's prophecies are always accurate," Sasame said with a smile, ignoring the White Snake Sage's reaction. "So I have to help it out and make the prophecy come true."
"..." The White Snake Sage didn't know what to say. It had always been wary of the Great Sage Toad because of its prophecies. Now it was going to die because of a prophecy. This was the unpredictability of fate.
Just then.
In a temple deep within Mount Myōboku. The Great Sage Toad woke up from a dream in a start. Dreams were a sign of its prophecies, and they were closely related. The dream it just had was a nightmare, filled with countless murders and blood.
"My Lord, you're awake?" The Sage Fukasaku on the side quickly spoke.
"You and Shima immediately take Gamabunta, Gamaken, and Gamahiro and leave Mount Myōboku," the Great Sage Toad's voice was quick and urgent.
"My Lord?!" Sage Fukasaku was stunned. "What happened?"
"Don't ask. Just go quickly." The Great Sage Toad's face showed a hint of determination. "Go to the ninja world and live anonymously."
"Could it be that the person who will destroy Mount Myōboku has already arrived?" Sage Fukasaku realized something and blurted out, "Who is it?"
"No matter who it is, destruction is imminent," the Great Sage Toad sighed. "I just had a dream, and this is the warning."
"I'll stay," Sage Fukasaku said without hesitation. "If I stay, we'll have a better chance of winning."
"Fukasaku," the Great Sage Toad said in a serious tone. "It's an order for you to leave."
At this moment, a toad came from a distance. It was the contact toad. It spat out a scroll and said, "The White Snake Sage is coming this way with two humans."
"The White Snake Sage? What is it doing at Mount Myōboku?" Sage Fukasaku was stunned. It picked up the scroll and opened it. On it were the portraits of Sasame and Ōtsutsuki Kaguya. The Great Sage Toad glanced at it, and its body turned cold. It shouted, "Fukasaku, leave now! Hurry!"
