Chapter 379 - Infinity Stones? They're piled up in the drawers like trash!

The timeline of the video is now clear.

When Tony Stark traveled back in time to collect the Tesseract, the operation failed because Tony Stark was accidentally knocked away by the Hulk. Loki took the Tesseract and used it to teleport himself away.

Where Loki teleported himself to is unknown, but after that escape, he was immediately arrested by the Time Bureau.

The "Blue Box" must be the Tesseract.

  "What's your name?"

  On the screen,

Loki grabbed the staff member and stared at him, asking.

"Cassie." Cassie's voice sounded a bit effeminate.

"Give me the Tesseract, or I'll gut you like a fish, Cassie!" Loki glared fiercely at Cassie, threatening him.

"What's a fish?" Cassie actually asked.

He didn't know what a fish was.

"How can you not know what a fish is?" Loki couldn't take it anymore.

"I've spent my whole life sitting at a desk."

  "So what?"

"I want to know what threat I'm facing, and then I'll do it."

  "Death! Casey, violent, painful death!"

  "Fine, fine, I'll do it!"

  Casey finally gave in.

Everyone watching was speechless. They couldn't believe Loki would have to go through so much trouble to threaten someone; Casey was definitely an oddball.

Sure enough, Casey did as Loki said, rummaging through drawers looking for the Tesseract. He successfully found it in a drawer and handed it to Loki.

Loki clutched the Tesseract tightly, letting out a long sigh of relief. But then, his gaze inadvertently fell   on the drawer, and

he froze as if electrocuted. The drawer was filled with Infinity Stones!   A whole drawer full!   "Holy crap!"   "Am I seeing things?"   "How is this possible!"   Even everyone watching was shocked, letting out several exclamations of disbelief.   Those are Infinity Stones! They possess the most powerful stones in the universe!   Thanos destroyed Xandar, Asgard, and killed so many people in Wakanda, all for the Infinity Stones.   The superheroes even invented a time machine to travel to the past to obtain them.   And yet, in this Time Bureau, these things are just casually placed in a drawer like trash?   That's bad enough, but there are so many!   Six Infinity Stones could destroy the universe!   The superheroes were truly shocked.   "What?"   "Infinity Stones?"   On the screen,   Loki stared blankly at the Infinity Stones, asking Casey, "How...how did you get these?"   "Oh, we have a lot of these. Some people even use them as paperweights," Casey replied casually.   Loki began to question his existence.   Everyone watching on the screen was equally bewildered.   If this video hadn't been played by a quiz system, they certainly wouldn't have believed it; it was utterly absurd.   Loki, seemingly lost in thought, stood up and paced slowly around the office, no longer harboring any desire to escape.   He stared at the sacred timeline displayed on the large screen, muttering, "Is this the most powerful force in the universe?"   Bang!   A loud crash followed, and a team of agents rushed in to arrest Loki.   But Loki pulled out the remote control he'd stolen from Mobius, pressed a button, and vanished.   His time had been rewound,   back to the room Mobius had taken him to, reappearing before the projection equipment.   Loki no longer tried to escape. Instead, he placed the Tesseract on the floor and began watching the projections alone.   He sat down and watched.   The images froze there.   The atmosphere in the room became heavy and oppressive; the moral compass of the participants was utterly shattered.   "So this Time Bureau is an organization that exists above the universe, controlling time itself, one of the elements of the universe?"   Tony Stark exclaimed in surprise. "They have complete control over the time of all living things, even the gods?"   "It's unbelievable, but based on this footage… that's how it seems." Captain America nodded, his face quite grim.   In fact, not only Captain America, but everyone present looked uneasy; no one would be happy to hear such a thing.   "More than that," Loki added. "This Time Bureau has written everyone's timeline, they've written everyone's future! It's absurd!"   "If someone deviates from the future they've written, they'll arrest them," Peter Parker added.   "Time Devils—they call those who deviate from their predetermined future 'Time Devils'," Sersi added last.   They exchanged glances, all sensing the profound heaviness in each other's eyes.   "So, everything we've done was predetermined by the Time Guardian? Our lives are just a script written by the Time Guardian?"   Captain America's voice sounded agitated.   If this were the case, wouldn't everyone be puppets of the Time Management Bureau?   No one could accept that.   "No!"

After a brief silence, Tony Stark raised his head and said decisively, "Perhaps we were indeed living in a script written by the Time Keepers before, but I think we're not anymore!"

"Does everyone remember what Agent Mobius said? Loki asked him why he didn't know about the Time Management Bureau before, and Mobius said that Loki had always lived on a predetermined path, and on that predetermined path, one wouldn't know about the Time Management Bureau."

  "But now... we know!"

  "What does that mean?"

With Tony Stark's words, everyone's eyes lit up.

"That's right!" Thor couldn't help but smile. "Our lives have changed; we've long since deviated from the Time Keepers' script!"

"But we haven't been caught by the Time Keepers; we haven't become 'time monsters'!" Loki's eyes also shone; he concluded, "This quiz system is above the Time Management Bureau!"

"Or rather... the quiz system is also in the Time Management Bureau's script, right? That's a possibility too," Peter Parker added weakly.

"Please, kid, you're really good at dampening my spirits." Cersei couldn't help but glance at Peter Parker with a hint of exasperation.

"No, Cersei, logically speaking, what Peter said is indeed a possibility,"

Tony Stark said to Cersei with a serious expression, "However… the possibility is relatively small, because it's hard to understand why the Time Bureau would deliberately let us know about their existence, so…"

Therefore, the possibility Loki mentioned is definitely more likely. After

a few words of discussion, everyone present basically agreed, and the gloom in their hearts dissipated.

[Question: Thanos sends his minions to Vision to steal the Mind Stone. Which of the following characters can instantly and severely injure Vision?]

  [A. Black Dwarf]

  [B. Ebony Maw]

  [C. Corvus Glaive]

  [D. Proxima Midnight]

  [Friendly Reminder: Correct answers will receive a Memory Eraser Stick;

incorrect answers will result in the random deduction of one attribute, including but not limited to knowledge, experience, skills, possessions, etc.]

The system notification suddenly rang out, interrupting the discussion. A new question appeared.

In the question about why Captain America took Vision to Wakanda, Vision appeared injured and needed Falcon Sam Wilson's support to walk.

Everyone was very curious at the time: with Thanos's power, who could have injured him like that?

Now this question will reveal the answer to this mystery.

"Thanos? The Black Order? Those four in the options are the Black Order, right? And who is Vision? Um, sorry... but can anyone explain to me who these people are?"

Sersi couldn't help but ask the others first.

The question involved so many people that Cersei, who had just participated, didn't recognize a single one and was feeling a bit dizzy.

Captain America immediately introduced all the relevant figures to Cersei, who remained calm as always, showing no surprise. Thanos and

the like were indeed formidable figures to ordinary people, but in front of the Eternals, they were nothing special.

"Instantly severely injuring Vision? Wow, that's truly astonishing," Peter Parker exclaimed in surprise.

Vision's strength was absolutely top-tier in the universe, and everyone couldn't understand how anyone could do that.

Not to mention Thanos's Black Order, even Thanos himself couldn't do such a thing.

After all, while Thanos was strong, even with all five Infinity Stones, he couldn't instantly kill Iron Man, Doctor Strange, and other superheroes.

Could Vision's strength really be weaker than "Nano Iron Man" or Doctor Strange?

Not to mention, it wasn't Thanos himself who attacked Vision, but one of his henchmen!

"Comparing strength alone, this result is indeed unexpected,"

Tony Stark immediately said to Peter Parker. "But as I've said before, Peter, we can't just make a simple, crude comparison of strength; after all, battles are complex."

"In a specific battle, it's possible for a weaker person to instantly kill a stronger one for various reasons."

"The problem is, we don't know any details about this battle right now," Captain America frowned slightly.

"So—" Loki shrugged, "It seems we have no other choice but to compare strength."

"Then, among the Black Order, who is stronger?" Sersi asked at this moment.

  Ah!

This question immediately stunned everyone, because no one could answer it.

Each of the Black Order members was indeed very strong, but who was the strongest?

  Nobody knew.

Everyone's understanding of the Black Order is actually quite limited. Aside from witnessing the battle between Ebony Maw and Black Dwarf, no one has seen the other two members.

It's impossible to judge their strength or how they compare to Ebony Maw and Black Dwarf.

The only conclusion people can draw is that Black Dwarf is likely weaker than Ebony Maw. This

is because during their battle against Doctor Strange and Iron Man in the New York Sanctum, Black Dwarf acted like Ebony Maw's subordinate,

  obeying his orders without question.

Beyond that, no other comparisons can be made.

"Wait a minute, I think we can rule out Ebony Maw and Black Dwarf," Tony Stark suddenly said, as if remembering something.

Without waiting for any questions, Tony Stark began his analysis.

"Do you all remember the information we got about the Black Order from Gamora and Nebula? Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight are a couple! I've already hinted at it, some of you should have figured it out by now, right?"

"Stark, stop beating around the bush. So what if they're a couple? What does that have to do with what we're discussing?" Thor looked completely bewildered.

Loki, having only participated in one quiz, had far too little information and, like Thor, was equally confused.

He couldn't even begin to think or analyze.

  Sersi was the same.

Only Captain America and Peter Parker started analyzing along Tony Stark's lines of thought.

Unfortunately, they weren't mind readers, and Tony Stark's thought process was too unpredictable; they couldn't keep up with his train of thought for a while.

"I thought your IQs would have improved after answering questions for so long, but it seems you're still stuck in the same place."

Tony Stark first gave everyone a disdainful look before continuing, "Let's brainstorm and connect the relevant clues."

"After killing Loki on the Asgardian ship, Thanos ordered the Black Order to go to Earth to steal the Infinity Stones."

"There are two Infinity Stones on Earth." "

And the ones who went to steal the Time Stone were Ebony Maw and Black Dwarf. So where did the other two go?"

"They went to deal with Vision!" Peter Parker suddenly slapped his thigh and shouted. Peter

Parker's words made everyone's eyes light up. The question, which had been somewhat unclear before, suddenly became clear with Peter Parker's words.

  There were clues to follow.

"So it seems that Black Obsidian IV split into two groups, each trying to steal one of the Infinity Stones."

"Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive are a couple, so they should naturally act together, while Ebony Maw and Black Dwarf act together as a pair. This way, one group would try to steal the Time Stone, and the other the Mind Stone."

  "That makes perfect sense!"

  Thor exclaimed excitedly.

"That's right, this deduction matches all the clues we have!" Peter Parker completely agreed.

"While this deduction does align with the clues we have, it's still just a deduction," Captain America said, relatively calmer and more restrained. "Let's analyze it more deeply."

"First, we know that Ebony Maw and Black Dwarf went to steal Doctor Strange's Time Stone, and during this operation, Ebony Maw was killed by Stark, and Black Dwarf had his arm severed by Wizard Wong using a portal."

"In other words, we can assume that this group lost their fighting ability after stealing the Time Stone and was unable to steal the Mind Stone."

"Therefore, we have to discuss a question: before Ebony Maw and his group went to steal the Time Stone, did they first try to steal the Mind Stone from Vision?"

If not, then Corvus Glaive and his wife are undoubtedly the ones who dealt with Vision.

If they did, this matter needs further discussion.

  "Of course not."

Tony Stark shook his head firmly. "We saw the spectacle of Ebony Maw and Black Dwarf's arrival on Earth. Such a huge spaceship—do you think we wouldn't have heard anything if they'd gone to Vision's place first?"

In this information age, that kind of commotion should have spread rapidly throughout America, online, in the news media, and so on.

Tony Stark and his team must have received advance notice.

But when Ebony Maw and his group arrived outside the New York Sanctum at Kamar-Taj, no one clearly received any prior warning!

From this perspective, Ebony Maw and his group's first stop on Earth should have been to deal with Doctor Strange.

And in the battle against Doctor Strange, both of them were rendered incapacitated. What else could Vision do but leave it to Corvus Glaive and his team?

Of course, analyzing only the information dissemination aspect isn't enough to confirm that Ebony Maw and his group went straight to Doctor Strange upon arriving on Earth.

  But regardless, it speaks volumes.

Of the Black Order, it was Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight who dealt with Vision; this was practically a given.

  Everyone generally agreed on this.

"Great! We've eliminated two options at once; victory is just one step away." Loki smiled, but for some reason, that smile didn't look benevolent.
