[Congratulations to the quiz answerer Thor Odinson for winning the reward: the Cloak of Invisibility!] [
The reward has been issued, please check!] With these words from the system, Thor immediately felt a weight in his hand, a certain sensation. He looked down and saw a long robe, entirely blue with yellow-green trim, in his hand. Clearly, it was the Cloak of Invisibility. At that moment, information about the Cloak of Invisibility was instantly flooded into Thor's mind. "Thor, are you really planning to give this cloak to Mother?" Loki rested his chin on his hand, shrugging slightly. "This thing doesn't look right; it doesn't suit Mother's taste at all." "Loki, you don't understand Mother's taste at all," Thor said confidently. "I believe Mother will like it." No one else could get a word in edgewise on this topic. Whether Frigga would actually like the cloak was unknown, but to everyone's perception, the Cloak of Invisibility did indeed appear somewhat crude and simple. However, no one cared about this; as long as it was functional, that was enough. "This is the Cloak of Invisibility?" Cersei couldn't help but exclaim in surprise as she looked at the cloak in Thor's hand. She could clearly see that Thor's hand had been empty; the cloak had appeared out of thin air. Such an ability, akin to creating something out of thin air, was something only Phantos could accomplish, even among the Eternals. Of course, Phantos was a scientist; he manifested scientific creations, and things like clothing were generally beyond his expertise. "Can I take a look?" Cersei asked Thor after a moment's hesitation. "Of course, feel free to look," Thor generously handed the Cloak of Invisibility to Cersei. Sersi carefully took the Cloak of Invisibility and activated her ability to sense it. A look of surprise appeared on her face: "A very special thing." Sersi possessed the ability to reshape the molecular structure of objects, so she could analyze objects at the microscopic level. She could clearly sense that this Cloak of Invisibility was no ordinary object. Its molecular structure was extremely unique, and it also contained an energy that transcended the physical realm. Now, Sersi's doubts about this quiz system lessened somewhat. It seemed that Captain America was right, and this quiz system was most likely real as well. "So-so, but it's not bad as a defensive garment," Thor replied casually, taking the Cloak of Invisibility back. "So this cloak is really a defensive reward?" Peter Parker asked from the side. The cloak's effectiveness was just as everyone had guessed. "That's right, this is a defensive reward," Thor nodded. "This cloak has three effects: first, it increases maximum health by 700; second, it increases spell defense by 120; and third, it increases health regeneration by 50 per second." "Thor, are these the 'official parameters' of the Cloak of Invisibility?" Tony Stark couldn't help but ask. Descriptions like increasing maximum health and spell defense sounded strange and didn't quite fit the usual way people described things. People like Tony Stark, Captain America, Thor and his brother, and Sersi, while vaguely understanding the meaning of these parameters, still felt awkward. They couldn't fully grasp them. Peter Parker, on the other hand, understood Thor's three effects perfectly because the Cloak of Invisibility's three "official parameters" used a game item description style. Peter Parker then explained it to everyone in a more vivid and engaging way, from the perspective of a game item. With a more intuitive understanding of the Cloak of Invisibility's specific effects, everyone now has a clearer picture. Simply put, it increases health, enhances defense, and allows for self-healing. It's undeniably a very useful item. Its effects are actually quite similar to Peter Parker's Bloodlust Armor, though whether it's actually better remains to be seen. "Only these three effects? Can't this cloak make you invisible?" Captain America suddenly remembered something and stared at Thor with a serious expression. "No, this cloak only has the three effects I mentioned; it can't make you invisible," Thor shook his head. Everyone present was speechless. If it can't make you invisible, then why call it the Cloak of Invisibility? Isn't this misleading? [Answer complete, starting to play answer analysis!] At this moment, the system notification sounded suddenly, and simultaneously, a corresponding video appeared on the big screen. "Next case, please come forward!" With this voice, Loki, dressed in a peculiar "prison uniform" and wearing a collar-like object around his neck, was escorted forward by a female agent. "Loki Laufeson, Time Aberration L1130, accused of temporal violation 7-20-89, do you plead guilty?" As Loki was brought before a female judge, the judge began her trial. Indeed, this was a place resembling a courtroom. Time Aberration? Temporal Violation? What the hell? Everyone watching was stunned. These two novel terms were completely unfamiliar to them, yet they did reflect certain functions of the Time Management Bureau. Seeing Loki truly reduced to a prisoner, the Time Management Bureau's standing in everyone's minds rose slightly. Loki, in particular, frowned deeply, his brows furrowing like an old chrysanthemum blooming in late autumn. Having experienced the quiz firsthand, Loki knew perfectly well that the scene on the screen truly represented his future. Therefore, he had secretly decided that once the quiz was over, he would simply destroy this damn Time Management Bureau. Daring to capture even Loki himself was like asking for trouble. "Madam, gods don't beg. This pantomime is quite interesting, but I should go home," the screen said.
Standing in the "defendant's dock," Loki spoke to the female judge with a hint of sarcasm.
"Are you guilty, sir?" the judge asked, completely ignoring Loki and continuing her condescending question.
"Guilty as the God of Mischief? Yes! Guilty for finding all this incredibly boring? Yes! Guilty for violating the Sacred Timeline? Absolutely not, you've arrested the wrong person,"
Loki replied without hesitation, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
"Sacred Timeline"—this single word struck a chord with everyone present, etched into their minds.
Although they didn't yet know its exact meaning, it sounded incredibly complex.
"Is that so? Then who should we arrest?"
"I suspect the Avengers. The reason I obtained the Tesseract is because they traveled through time; it's definitely a last-ditch effort to stop me from becoming king."
"Such a serious accusation."
"Believe me, the two Tony Stark colognes are very obvious. You say they're time criminals? Then you should go find them. Perhaps you could give me a task force and some resources, and I can go back and eliminate them for you."
"We're not talking about the Avengers. What they did was supposed to happen, but your escape wasn't."
"'Shouldn't happen,' who decides that?"
"The Time Guardians."
"The Time Guardians? Heh, well, perhaps I should talk to these Time Guardians, the kind of god-to-god kind."
"Sorry, they're busy."
"Really? What are they busy doing?"
"Determining the normal flow of time."
Everyone in front of the screen was stunned. Even with their status and experience, they were shocked by this conversation.
The amount of information conveyed in those few words was enormous, astonishing.
For the first time, everyone knew that "Time Guardians" existed in the world, and that these beings could determine the normal flow of time!
What is the normal flow of time?
Based on their conversation, it was about deciding what "should happen" and what "shouldn't happen." For example, the Avengers traveling back in time to collect the Infinity Stones was something that should happen, but Loki's escape wasn't.
This was infuriating!
Was everyone's every move being decided by a Time Guardian?
Were everyone's lives scripted by the Time Guardian?
Everyone was shocked.
Even Cersei, from the Eternals, was affected.
At this moment, everyone finally understood the true meaning of the words "Time Management Bureau."
On the screen,
the female judge and Loki continued their verbal battle.
The female judge aggressively pressed Loki to confess, but Loki was clearly not going to confess and even planned to escape violently.
But unfortunately, Loki put on a few showy moves, but nothing happened.
He couldn't use any of his divine power.
"What the hell is going on!" Loki angrily slammed his fist on the table.
"Magic? That stuff doesn't work well at the Time Bureau, Mr. Lauferson," the female judge said with utter sarcasm.
Magic couldn't be used at the Time Bureau!
Everyone watching was astonished. This Time Bureau really had some tricks up its sleeve, capable of doing something so unbelievable.
"This court finds you guilty, and I sentence you to be reset! Next!" The female judge struck her gavel, delivering the verdict.
Although no one knew exactly what "reset" meant, it was clear it wasn't good news.
Unfortunately, Loki had completely lost his magic and was powerless to resist, forced to let the agents take him away to be reset.
However, unexpectedly, at this crucial moment, an agent named Mobius took Loki away,
leading him to another room.
"I have to say, this really feels like a murder room," Loki said, looking around at the dimly lit environment.
"You don't really trust people, do you?"
"Only children and dogs trust people. You can only trust one person."
"You? I like that about you."
"If the Time Bureau really controls all time, how come we've never heard of you?"
"Because you don't need to hear. You've always lived on a predetermined path."
"I live on the path I chose!"
"Of course. Alright, come sit down."
While the two were talking, Mobius had been adjusting a projection device. Now that it was finished, he beckoned to Loki.
But Loki suddenly rushed towards Mobius, intending to subdue him.
But at this crucial moment, Mobius calmly took out a remote control and pressed a button on Loki.
Whoosh!
Loki was instantly transported back to where he was, as if a rewind button had been pressed.
"Time! This person can control time within Loki!"
Thor exclaimed in shock.
Looking around Thor, everyone else was equally astonished, stunned by Mobius's methods.
To be able to control other people's time so easily—isn't that a bit too overpowered?
Isn't that something only someone with the Time Stone could do?
But Mobius did it with just a small remote control.
Just what kind of incredible entity is this Time Management Bureau?
Before the quiz, everyone was incredulous that the Time Management Bureau had captured Loki, but now they finally understood why.
With the Time Management Bureau's capabilities, not only Loki, but everyone present wouldn't dare say they could fight against such an organization.
On the screen,
after Mobius demonstrated his abilities, Loki became completely obedient and sat down opposite Mobius.
Mobius then used his pre-tuned equipment to play a video for Loki.
There was footage of Loki guiding Dark Elf soldiers, accidentally causing the death of his mother Frigga, and footage of Loki being brutally beaten by the Avengers.
And so on.
All of these were events that had happened in the past.
Through these images, Möbius had a heart-to-heart talk with Loki, digging so deeply into his past that he was practically stripped bare.
From beginning to end, it was as if Loki's past and his unfulfilled future were all part of a script set by the Time Bureau.
Loki only needed to "act" according to the script.
However, just as the two were talking animatedly, something unexpected happened, and Möbius temporarily left.
Loki took advantage of this opportunity to sneak out and
arrived at what appeared to be an administrative office.
"You! I know you!" A staff member saw Loki and recognized him. "You're the criminal with the blue box!"
The blue box undoubtedly refers to the Tesseract.
