Merlina's breath trembled. Craig squeezed her hand, offering quiet reassurance.

Craig lifted her hand, his gaze steady. "I take you, Merlina, as my wife…"

With a gentle smile, Craig took the ring from the box and slid it onto her finger. The ring glinted in the light, Merlina's heart raced so fiercely, she thought the audience could hear it.
