[Group Chat]
[Seitenshi]: What exactly is an 'Emanator'? Is it just a title?
[Saeko]: I'm not entirely sure, but judging from how they showed up, they seem incredibly strong.
[Yuki]: An Emanator is someone an Aeon personally empowers with their Path. Think of them as an Aeon's direct, divine envoy.
[Athena]: Ah, now I understand!
[Raiden Ei]: If they are the direct envoy of a conceptual god, they must be truly formidable.
[Lilith]: Yeah. March might actually be outmatched here.
A wave of genuine concern washed over the chat group after learning the true weight of the term "Emanator."
[Artemis]: Don't worry! If March can't handle it, our handsome Yuki is right there!
[Yuki]: Right. Let March test her new skills. I'll keep her safe.
Yuki wasn't intervening just yet. With a single glance, he had seen that this Emanator wasn't the real thing—it was merely a possessed avatar. But still, it possessed genuine Planetary-tier destructive power.
On this battlefield, it was the absolute strongest presence besides himself.
Planet Gokan, the Northern Wasteland.
The Emanator fully possessed the Abundance commander's mutated body. Their sharp, terrifyingly divine gaze swept the ruined field.
"Yudis. You summoned a fraction of my consciousness for these mere ants?!" A booming, layered voice echoed from the giant figure—this was now the Emanator Shuhu, no longer the mortal commander. Shuhu sounded distinctly annoyed.
Then, the commander's original voice emerged from the exact same mouth, sounding strained and deeply humble.
"Lord Shuhu, I wouldn't dare bother you for trivial matters. But there is a Xianzhou native here—our sworn, ancient enemy. And they have incredibly strong allies. I had no other choice."
At the mention of the word "Xianzhou," Shuhu's bored, irritated expression instantly shifted to malicious interest.
"Oh? A Xianzhou lapdog. That explains it."
"Fine. For a mere logistics unit like yours, the Xianzhou is indeed too much trouble," Shuhu stopped his divine scolding.
"Wait—these Abundance invaders are just a supply unit?!" March was horrified.
Himeko's hands clenched tightly around her briefcase, her expression incredibly grim.
A mere logistics unit had effortlessly conquered an entire planetary civilization? No wonder the Denizens of Abundance ranked right alongside the Antimatter Legion in terms of universal threat level.
The three native resistance leaders went deathly pale. The hated, immortal enemies who had mercilessly slaughtered countless of their comrades... were effectively non-combatants. Defeat was one thing. Losing their entire mother world to a non-combat supply unit? It was utterly, profoundly humiliating.
Shuhu's glowing gaze snapped directly to March's group. His eyes landed on Jingliu's distinctive, elegant garb, and a cruel smile twisted his massive, wooden face.
"A Xianzhou rat. That outfit—you're from the Luofu." Golden-red eyes fixed intently on Jingliu.
The Denizens of Abundance and the Xianzhou Alliance were ancient, blood-sworn enemies. Most Denizens could easily recognize a Xianzhou native on sight. And as an Emanator, Shuhu could instantly sense the lingering, undeniable resonance of the immortal elixir flowing through Jingliu's veins.
"Whether I am or not doesn't matter." Jingliu shook her head, refusing to answer him directly.
She was no longer part of the Xianzhou. She was a criminal in exile. She wouldn't claim that honorable title in front of her greatest enemy.
"Hmph. Fine."
"Then die." Shuhu's eyes went glacial.
He casually raised a massive hand, and a gigantic, glowing golden palm materialized high in the sky. It spanned the entire visible battlefield—over 700 square kilometers of solid, crushing light.
He didn't bother distinguishing between targets. He simply slammed it down to crush everything in the wasteland.
The golden palm blotted out the sky, plunging the world into a heavy, suffocating shadow. The resistance fighters stared up at the descending doom, completely breathless and paralyzed by absolute despair.
"That's... huge!" March gaped.
Himeko quickly popped open her sleek briefcase and pulled out two high-tech, spherical devices. "March! Get to me!"
She tossed the second orb toward Jingliu. "Miss Jingliu! Catch! Press the button!"
Jingliu caught the device and pressed it without hesitation. A thick, hexagonal energy barrier instantly enveloped her.
Shuhu scoffed from his towering height.
"Useless."
"You mortals truly do not understand what an Emanator's power means."
He willed the giant palm to accelerate. It shifted from a slow, oppressive press to a catastrophic, crushing slam.
"Die. It is an honor to be erased by my hand."
Then, March's voice cut sharply through the heavy, divine pressure, ringing with sheer, unadulterated annoyance.
"Hmph!"
"You think this beautiful girl is just going to let you win?!"
An arrow of highly condensed Imaginary Energy shot skyward like a reverse meteor, streaking straight toward the descending golden palm.
The arrow moved like flowing, crystalline light. With a sharp, ear-piercing thwip, it pierced cleanly through the dead center of the giant palm, shot out the other side, and vanished into the upper atmosphere.
Crack.
The massive golden hand abruptly halted in mid-air. It shattered like fragile glass, dissolving into a harmless rain of shimmering golden dust that drifted beautifully across the stunned wasteland.
Jingliu, Himeko, and all the resistance fighters turned in absolute, jaw-dropping disbelief to stare at March. The pink-haired girl still had her black-and-white bow raised, the bowstring drawn taut.
She had her sights set dead on Shuhu.
"Impossible!" Shuhu's layered, booming voice actually cracked.
His massive glowing eyes narrowed in utter disbelief at the human girl he had just dismissed as an insignificant ant.
"How could you possibly break my attack?! Impossible!"
That strike certainly wasn't his full power. But by his absolute cosmic calculations, no mortal present should have been able to withstand even a fraction of it. March had just forcefully made him eat his divine words.
Shuhu's perception rapidly tracked the arrow's trajectory. It hadn't just shattered his attack—it had pierced straight through the planet's atmosphere, shot out into deep space, and traveled several light-years before finally dissipating into the endless void.
