This single strand is only a fraction of a miligram in weight, however, it held the ability to erase years of torment, years of trails and tribulations.
Without a shred of hesitation Izuku snatched from the hands of the symbol of peace and ate it.
"Now, young midoriya, the powers should appear around tomorrow morning, just in time for your exam!" Reassured him All Might.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you thank you!" Repeated and screamed Izuku until his water works started activating.
"Now now young midoriya, I told you, you too can hecome a hero, this is the start of step 1!" His signature smile spanning his face, "go! Make me and your predecessors proud!" He put his hand on midoriya's shoulder.
Midoriya wiped his tears, smiled and began rushing home. Although his excitement knows no bounds, he had just as much anxiety. What if his power didn't come in time for the exam? Will he just have to do it without a quirk? Is that possible?
These thoughts constantly stacked in Izuku's mind as he got home. 'All Might said he'll be a teacher at UA, does that mean he'll watch me do the entrance exam? I'll need to go plus ultra!'
Right before bed, Izuku made sure to practice his all might imitation face for a good 10 minutes.

"Bye mom, I'm going to do the entrance exam!" He voiced while putting his shoes on, before running out the door.
Even when he left the house he knew his mum was continuously praying for him.
The train ride was a hassle, cramped and suffocating, the worst environment to be in before an important day.
As he stepped infront of the massive UA gate, he marvled at it all in size.
Izuku pov:
Wow, this is really UA and I'm really taking the exam, and I have a quirk! Me from 10 months ago would cry his eyes out at this moment.
I walked on forward not wanting to occupy unnecessary space.
"Oh-" why I'm I falling?!
That's it, mum and All might, I'm sorry this will be the death of your son and successor! Either by falling or by embarrassment.
I felt 5 soft pads swifly tap me, ending my embarrassing descent.
I swiftly turn around to look at the person- I mean the hero who saved me.
"Thank you-" wow, she's gorgeous, She really decided to save me? Me of all people? She's a goddess!
Oh wait I'm staring at her right now, I need to look away!
"It's fine! You would't want to fall right before the exam it's bad luck!" She chuckled. "Anywho, I need to go to the exam!" She rushed away.
I didn't even have enough time to properly thank her. I slapped my cheeks with both my hands, I'll be sure to tell her thank you the next chance I get!

We just finished the written exam and now the practical exam will start soon, breath Izuku breath, you can do this.
I scanned over the participants, there she is! The girl I need to say thank you to. I turned my head a bit more and saw the same tall boy with blue hair that called me out during the explanations, I should avoid him!
I quick stepped away avoiding that whole region, but before I could get too far.
"GO!!!!" Roared present mic.
It's cool that all the teachers in UA are pro heroes. It kinda makes this place the safest in the world.
Wait he said go?
Just like that? No count down?
"What are you all doing! There are no count downs in real battles!!" He roared, causing everyone to begin running.
I just need to destroy some robots, my many years of training should make it not as hard as it should be.
I ran and took a left onto a road, a massive 5 metre tall 2 pointer stood in my way. Okay I didn't expect them to be this big.
A quick dodge helped me evade the mechanical tails. I quickly ran up its tail trying to find a deactivate button, but unfortunately for me, the robot began moving again, forcing me to fall off.
I looked at my leg to check for damages from the rough fall, to my suprise, not a single one.
Is this one for all acting now? Should I try it? Wait no All Might said it would injure me if I can't handle it, But I've trained all my life I should be able to handle a little bit of it? Better not risk it.
I continued running around, clicking 3 buttons in total, 2 one pointers and 1 two pointer.
I think I failed, I was panicking and stressing if All might will just take back one for all thinking I'm not worthy after all!
Each step I took increased my worry, perfectly shadowing over the strong and violent tremors.
"AHHHH!" The loud scream tore through my thoughts. I scanned around, a girl was stuck under rubble, the same girl I was meant to thank.
My anger boiled as I saw the other examinees all run away, these future heros were running away from their first opportunity to be heroes.
I'm not sure if it was due to my anger, but a warm sensation ran through my legs right before my body began moving towards the girl.
"Huh!" Strong winds thrashed around me as I look around, I was around 200 metres away from the girl and the massive robot, now I'm 100 metres behind of them? Did I just teleport?
I quickly turn back and run, this time not randomly teleporting, as soon as I got close enough, I began channeling one for all internally.
All mights words rang through my head, my idol, my teacher, my hero. 'Clench your buttcheeks kid, and yell this from the depth of your heart!"
I launched, higher than most can dream of, high enough that I overshot the robot and could see the other practical exam. I began my great descent, preparing my fist by pulling it back.
The same warm sensation ran through my arm, "GO BEYOND! PLUS ULTRAAAAA!" My voice rang through the entire exam location, right before my hand slammed into the robot.
*BOOM*
The robot appeared to vanish his remains being scattered and shredded. This didn't stop my fall however.
"Maybe this is how die" I cried, the wind muffling my noise.
BOOM*
Another crash sounded out across the exam area, however I was able to stand perfectly fine after, maybe one for all boosted my natural durability?
"I'm so sorry! I could've helped by the strong wind from earlier caused me to lose my concentration and focus on protecting my eyes!" The brunette cute girl that was under the rubble spat out in panic.
"It's fine… I'm fine, actually, I'm better than fine," I couldn't hide my smile from showing, I have a powerful quirk, the most powerful quick.
"THE EXAM IS OVER!!! ALL STAY IN YOUR CURRENT POSITIONS IF YOU'RE HEAVILY INJURED, RECOVERY GIRL WILL ASSIST YOU, IF YOU'RE PERFECTLY FINE STILL GET CHECKED UP!" Present Mic roared.
"You reckless kids nowadays," recovery lady muttered.
"Trust me, miss recovery lady, I'm perfectly fine!" I reassured.
"You remind me of a certain blonde haired muscle head," she sighed before planting a kiss on me. "Now go home!" She put a sweet into my hand.
