The doctor came nearer and asked, "Which child are you talking about?" Havila looked at Tamar and said casually, "Oh, so the doctor doesn't know yet. She is pregnant now, but what about the first pregnancy? Or did you lie to him that you miscarried? Looks like you never mentioned it at all." The doctor turned to Tamar and asked, "Babe, what is she talking about? Tamar started to panic, but she maintained a strong front, thinking that Havila didn't have evidence.
She pointed at her and said, "She is lying to you. She is trying to sow discord between us as she can't stand it when others are happy, first her cousin, and now me." That statement cooled down the doctor's heart. Havila saw the doctor getting easily manipulated, so she changed her voice and greeted, "Hello, student XXX." The doctor jumped in surprise and looked at Havila and asked, "Prof, that can't be. You are less than 25 years old. How can you be my teacher?"
He removed his phone from his pocket, searched his professor's portfolio, and confirmed the truth. He immediately knelt down and apologized, "Forgive me Professor, I will make sure to punish her when we reach home." Tamar and everyone else watching the commotion were shocked. They asked, "Who is this woman? She can even make the known surgeon kneel down to her." Havila patted his shoulders and helped him up.
She pointed at Tamar and said, "It is okay if she is willing to change, but i want her to refund all the money my husband used on her. She is an impostor as she didn't save my husband but pretended to be the savior to enjoy the benefits. I have calculated the total amount and I will be giving her three months to pay everything back. Not a penny less, not a penny more." She then gave the doctor the papers. He saw the amount and his heart almost stopped beating.
Tamar also saw the amount and screamed, "Are you kidding? where do you expect me to get all that money from?" Havila picked the point and said, "Oh, so you do agree that you were not the savior back then?" Tamar became hysterical noticing that she had been tricked and her lie exposed, she screamed, "So what if I am not the savior? He had been taking care of me all this while, it is him to be blamed. Why didn't he investigate further? He believed me the moment i said i was the savior."
She paused and pointed at Keveelsky saying, "I didn't force him to do anything. He is the one who promised to marry me to return the favor. He did all these out of his own accord." Havila asked, " Are you blaming him for trusting you?" She looked at her and as if noticing something, she said, "Your hair color do look the same as that tiny girl back then. So you were pretending to faint back, i even carried you on my back to hide you inside the old hut."
Havila could not believe what she was seeing. She continued, "After i put the two of you inside the hut, i told the boy to help guard you as I went to look for further help. You were pretending to be unconscious all that time and when i went out to look for further help, you used that opportunity when I was recording statement to the police and pretended to be me. You said you were the savior." Havila seldom gets emotional, but this time she cried.
She wiped the tears flowing on her cheeks and continued, "You took my handsome stranger away. I searched for him for three good years, then again, you collaborated with my aunt an cousin and they presented a fake boyfriend to me as a my handsome stranger. I had searched long enough and because of the trust I had for my family, I believed them and vowed to marry Georgia. Deep down, I knew something was not right because my heart did not beat the same way it did with the boy back then, but I still believed them."
Keveelsky helped her sit down so as not to fall. He had wanted to make her stop but he couldn't as he also wanted to hear the truth. He hugged her shoulders as she continued talking," For the love I had for my family, I ended up wasting seven good years of my life. I was betrayed by the people I loved the most and now you are telling me that my husband is at fault for lending you a helping hand. I will let everything go today because your man has been treating my Grandpa in law for years."
" Take the money as though Kev is saying thank you for the help. But I'M warning you, if I hear anything, good or bad, about me or anyone close to me, I will hunt you down and beat the hell out of you and there is nowhere you can take me. Mark my words." She then went to the chief's daughter, hugged her and apologized, "Sorry for stealing your limelight, I had to make things clear and declare my boundary."
The chief's daughter hugged her back and with a usual viscous mouth, said, "I thought you didn't care, so you were eating vinegar silently. Congratulations." She then laughed out loud. Her infectious laughter brought the atmosphere back to normal. Back at the table, Lency was the first to touch the deep waters. She said, "So, you did marry your handsome stranger. When did you find out?"
Havila raised her head proudly and answered, "Immediately Grandpa Nameless introduced us, I had the same feelings I had back then when i saw the boy." The prince laughed out loud and said, "Wait a minute, don't tell me that the grandpa nameless you always talk about is Grandpa Delus, what's with the weird naming of people?" Havila smiled thinking about that scene and said, "He saved my life back then but he didn't tell me his name. I work with a lot of people and it's hard to remember their names so i give them a tag, it's easier to remember."
Keveelsky who had been quiet all this time finally asked, "So this is the only reason you married me? What if I wasn't your handsome stranger?" Havila answered confidently, "I would still marry you. Your Grandpa saved my life i would rather marry my savior than vice versa because the other party might have someone else in their hearts , just like you did." Keveelsky defended himself immediately, "I didn't have anybody in my heart, you are the only one."
Havila said 'me too' then they hugged and kissed passionately spreading dog food to the singles. The banquet ended at eleven in the evening and the newly wed immediately used the Delus corporation private plane and flew away for their honeymoon. The other guests were arranged for accommodation at the same hotel. They dispersed the following morning. Havila and Kevelsky went home because of Grandpa Delus. Lency stayed in the hotel so the prince stayed with her. Georgina also remained in the hotel because her family were still not aware of her engagement so she couldn't take her fiance home, they decided to stay at the hotel.
