Back at the office, Selina's composure didn't waver despite the lingering tension from Clarissa's threat. She felt a slight inner tremor, but outwardly remained calm.
Turning around, she met the astonished expressions of her colleagues.
"Selina, who are you to stand so confidently against Clarissa—the Chairman's princess?" Callum asked, fully aware of the aftermath.
Selina tilted her head, glancing between them, and declared, "I can't just keep shut and watch her bully me because she's someone's princess."
Jasper gripped the ID card around his neck, muttering, "No one offends her and lasts a day in this company… but it seems otherwise here. She's tolerating you."
Selina knew that all too well. She wouldn't have even had a chance to enter the company—or last—without the challenge she had accepted.
"Selina, you handled her so coolly, without letting things spiral against you. It was impressive." Annabelle added with soft admiration, giving her a thumbs-up.
