The blood bled through her heart and then the Zyloth was gone. He vanished in the diamond. He went inside the diamond again because he found a more suitable host.. You guessed it right. It was Fiere. The suitable host. The contract between Taen and Serevyn was breached the moment Serevyn attacked Fiere. He now stayed in the dimension created by Fiere's mind where her other self resided too, the one who helped her fight but still couldn't manage to defeat Serevyn
There was no one around them. The Zyloth, Serevyn, was nowhere to be found. The clouds around the diamond disappeared and it settled itself where Fiere's heart first was. Her heart was gone. Now, she wouldn't survive without the diamond which was now located in place of her heart. It became the reason that Fiere was still alive but it was also the reason Fiere would to die.
She fell unconscious next to her brother who, fortunately, survived.
It was dark all around. A soundless, foggy but a place which felt strangely comfortable. She felt as if ,even if she spent an eternity in that place she would still not be ready to leave. The place where she was, was her mind centre. It was just a fragment of her imagination. Everywhere she saw was a shadow of gray. She looked around her and found a board which had an address written on it, the board was like the one we see on roads to guide to a particular address. The board was shabby and was made by wood. It had scratches on it like it had been made by an unknown creature with disformed arm, it's nails embedded in it.
She heard a voice which was too calm and composed. She felt as if she had heard this before somewhere.
"Oh, hey, you are finally here." The calm voice said and a person finally appeared in front of her.
When Fiere saw the person who appeared in front of her, she was shocked but then she thought for a moment. 'Maybe I am hallucinating. Probably because I bled too much and now my heart is a diamond, that's probably the most possible case right now'
The person she saw was herself.
"You aren't fit to be outside right now", her 'other' self said.
Then Fiere actually realised that she wasn't hallucinating, it was an actual person standing in front of her who was actually herself.
What the fu##
She thought but then she realised that she said it out loud.
Wait. Where the heck am I?
"You are in the mind center, it's a place created by your subconsciousness". Her 'other' self said with all seriousness while looking straight into her eyes as if she would gone be anytime soon.
How? Did she read my mind?. Fiere thought.
Her 'other' self, let's call her Rose for now, signed heavily as she heard her say this again. 'God, what was I gonna do with her?' her inner voice spoke as she rubbed temples but this was heard by Fiere. Fiere then realised that they could hear each other's thoughts. The reason behind this being they were in her 'mind center'.
"Hey… so who are you anyways?" Fiere said to Rose.
"I am your other self". Rose said.
"My other self? What's that supposed to mean?" Fiere looks a bit confused.
"I am your alter ego"
"Heh!?" Fiere says, too shocked to the core of her body.
