A few moments later, at the New Marine Headquarters.
"What?!"
Sengoku was stunned by the sudden news from the West Blue.
The president of the Ninja Guild, Lin Xuan, had actually teamed up with the Demon Child, Nico Robin!
And the two of them had appeared in the West Blue, heading straight for Ohara!
The information was so shocking that Sengoku was momentarily thrown off balance.
After a long stretch of disbelief, he snapped back to reality and clenched his fist tightly. "Damn it! How did that guy Lin Xuan get mixed up with Nico Robin? What the hell are they planning?!"
A deep unease settled in his chest. His mind raced through possibilities before he quickly made a decision and barked into the Den Den Mushi at the Marine waiting for orders on the other end: "G-18 Branch, I order you to head to Ohara immediately and keep a close eye on Lin Xuan and the others! But don't make any reckless moves. Report any intel right away!"
"Yes, Marshal!"
Though the Marines on the line felt a chill at the assignment, they acknowledged it immediately, hung up, and spread the word.
At the same time, Sengoku wasted no time dialing up Kong.
This involved Lin Xuan, and it tied into Nico Robin, the Demon Child of Ohara. He didn't dare call the shots alone—he had to report up the chain for guidance.
Meanwhile, Lin Xuan and Nico Robin had already reached the waters around Ohara.
But as they looked out, all they saw was an endless stretch of ocean, with no island in sight.
They knew this had to be the place, though.
If it had been anyone else led here by Nico Robin, they might have doubted her memory. But Lin Xuan knew the full story, so he wasn't fazed.
The reason everything looked like open sea was simple: after the Buster Call, Ohara had sunk beneath the waves.
Nico Robin's emotions churned upon arrival—grief, agony, rage, all crashing over her at once. It took her a while to steady herself.
Finally, she pulled it together and turned to Lin Xuan with respect. "President, Ohara's at the bottom of the sea now. All the documents, records, even that Poneglyph—they're all down there. Should we head back and round up a team to salvage them?"
Lin Xuan just gave a faint smile. "No need. I brought only you for a reason. I have a way to pull everything up from the depths myself."
Nico Robin blinked in surprise.
She figured he meant diving in personally, so she hesitated before saying, "If you're planning to go underwater, President, I won't be much help. I'm a Devil Fruit user, after all."
Lin Xuan shook his head again. "No need for all that hassle."
With those words, his eyes shifted dramatically, transforming into the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan!
Nico Robin's heart jolted at the sight.
Before she could get a closer look at those enigmatic eyes, a surge of mysterious, overwhelming power erupted, wrapping around both of them. In an instant, it formed into a colossal golden giant!
Perfect Susanoo!
Out on the water, warships surged from the Marine G-18 Branch, racing toward Ohara at full speed.
"Faster—push it harder!"
"We have to reach Ohara now and figure out what Lin Xuan and Nico Robin are after!"
Officers on the decks barked orders to accelerate, tension thick in the air. They could end up facing the nightmare enemy none of them wanted to tangle with.
But orders were orders—they were Marines, and they had no choice but to go.
Just then—
"Hey, look! What's that?!" A Marine colonel pointed ahead, shouting in alarm.
Everyone turned, eyes bulging in shock.
There it was!
The massive golden silhouette that haunted so many Marines loomed into view!
They were still dozens of nautical miles out, but the mountain-like golden giant was impossible to miss. Breath caught in their throats.
The helmsmen, terrified, eased off instinctively, slowing the ships.
"Keep moving forward!"
The rear admiral in command noticed the slowdown and roared the order.
His officers shot him questioning glances. He replied grimly, "Remember the mission. We need to uncover their intentions here!"
"Yes, sir!"
The Marines steeled themselves and pressed on toward Lin Xuan.
But as they closed another ten nautical miles, an even more jaw-dropping sight unfolded, leaving them gaping in horror!
The enormous golden giant swung its arms, unleashing a sword beam thousands of meters long that slammed down and cleaved the sea wide open!
The ocean parted like it had been sliced by an unstoppable force, exposing the seabed below!
Ohara's ruins lay bare before them!
Worse still, the massive rift didn't seal shut. Some invisible power held the waters at bay, turning the sea into a gaping abyss!
The Marines, who'd been charging ahead with grim determination, were now frozen in terror.
Approach now? In this?
What if they plummeted into that chasm? They'd be smashed to bits!
As shock gripped them and those fears swirled in their heads, Lin Xuan struck again!
His eyes shifted once more, this time to the Rinnegan!
He didn't go full Six Paths, though—just tapped into the Rinnegan's power.
A low hum echoed.
Terrifying ocular energy burst from his eyes, blanketing the Ohara ruins in the depths.
Suddenly, the whole island trembled violently, then began rising slowly from the seabed toward the sky!
The G-18 Marines were utterly dumbfounded.
Even Nico Robin, right there beside Lin Xuan, stared wide-eyed, hand over her mouth in disbelief. She hadn't expected him to pull off something this massive.
Then, a wild idea hit her: Wait, is the President planning to haul away the entire Ohara?!
