Chapter 503 - Chapter 501 Big Light Bulb: Mu Yang, How Did You Die?

Unlike what the players saw—[waiting until 8-10 o'clock the next morning]—Lumine received excellent hospitality at Mu Yang's home.

As soon as Paimon entered the house, she skillfully found the place where things were stored.

"Mu Yang is really… how should I put it? Devoted? It feels like your house is decorated almost the same."

Mu Yang helplessly shook his head, not wanting to say much more to the little white flying creature.

Have you even appreciated it before complaining like this?

It was just that he had placed all the snack cabinets in the same spot to avoid her asking around everywhere.

Fortunately, Mu Yang's trick worked.

Paimon flew straight to the snack pile and immediately behaved herself.

"Does Lumine want anything to eat?"

Lumine originally wanted to casually refuse; they had just eaten before coming back. She was not like Paimon, whose mouth never stopped all day.

But after thinking about it carefully, Mu Yang had apparently gone to Natlan earlier. Trying some Natlan flavors wouldn't be bad, right?

"I hope there are some Natlan snacks or something."

Hearing this, Mu Yang turned and went into the kitchen…

It seemed like it had been a long time since he had been alone with Lumine.

There was no helping it. Either he was busy paving the way in various places, or Lumine was adventuring in the ruins of various nations.

Lumine rarely had free time, and neither did Mu Yang.

On this rare occasion, they might as well enjoy it properly.

Mu Yang brought out Natlan's small desserts and drinks.

He then played some films in the living room.

"Is this prepared for the competition?"

"That's right. The finishing work is almost done. We still need to wait for the Film Association to review it and make some changes. You can help me reference it too."

"Relax, I'm a professional!"

In this ambiguous atmosphere, a thousand-watt light bulb lit up.

"You guys are secretly eating snacks without me!"

There were still snack crumbs at the corner of Paimon's mouth, yet she somehow said it with a straight face.

The little fellow flew over to the sofa.

"I don't care, I want some too. What is this?"

"Bitter Water."

"Bitter Water? Who names juice something like that? I bet it definitely won't sell!"

Lumine picked it up and took a sip, exclaiming how sweet and cloying it was.

She let Paimon try it too.

"You're overacting too much. I won't fall for it."

Paimon put down the Bitter Water in disgust.

It had to be said that Lumine understood Paimon the best.

The little fellow had just missed her favorite sweet juice.

Bitter Water was actually a beverage made by grinding Natlan's bitter seeds and adding various spices. After years of evolution and the addition of sugar, it had become fragrant, sweet, and delicious. The name just never changed.

Lumine had a smile at the corners of her mouth. The deep aroma of the bitter seeds carried a pure milky fragrance.

Like soft and smooth fabric, it gently brushed across the tip of the tongue, leaving behind strands of sweetness that were enough to melt the heart.

Mu Yang's craftsmanship had always been like this.

The three of them watched Mu Yang's film on the sofa.

Because it was shot with a Kamera, the plot was still quite compact.

Paimon was tense and focused the whole time, basically saying nothing.

Lumine was the same.

Only at the ending did the two of them simultaneously let out a big question: "Huh?"

"Mu Yang, how did you die?"

Paimon hurriedly waved her hands. "No, no, how did the character you played die?"

It seemed the twist at the ending was indeed quite unexpected.

But that was exactly the meaning Mu Yang wanted to convey.

As for when the players would be able to see it, they would have to wait until the film exhibition began.

Afterward, Mu Yang played some other films.

However, Paimon lost interest after watching for a short while and went to sleep.

Lumine, on the other hand, was reluctant to waste the alone time with Mu Yang and stayed a bit longer.

After watching two more, Mu Yang noticed that Lumine was getting sleepy.

He reminded her that she still had work with the photographer tomorrow and that she should rest now.

Only then did Lumine reluctantly leave the sofa…
