Chapter 109 - Chapter 109 (Demons in Town? (2))

"Red Wolf? You're kidding me, right?" Ron whispered.

Before he could react, Red Wolf lunged—his fist detonated against Ron's chest and launched him through a row of houses.

Ron crashed hard.

Red Wolf advanced for the finishing blow—

—but Ron flashed behind him in a burst of teleportation, slamming a punch into his spine.

Red Wolf tore through several buildings before Rocky intercepted with a brutal strike to his kidney, sending him flying back toward Ron.

A blaze ignited around Ron's fist.

He punched.

BOOM.

An entire city block vanished in fire.

Red Wolf hit the ground, half his body vaporized… but still moving.

Ron and Rocky froze.

Before their eyes, the half-destroyed body regenerated—muscle, bone, flesh knitting together in seconds.

It wasn't human. Not even close.

"What… what are you?" Ron breathed.

Red Wolf smirked, his voice twisting with malice.

"Me? I am Red Wolf. A half–demon."

"Demon?" Rocky muttered, nerves spiking.

Ron's mind raced. Dream's book… the old chapter… demons once invaded the universe. And someone defeated them effortlessly. But who?

A violent violet aura erupted around Red Wolf.

"Let me show you my true abilities… or rather—my Demonic Magic."

Reality shuddered.

Horns burst from his skull.

His eyes drowned in pitch black.

Blue flames coiled around his limbs like chains.

A violent azure aura bled into the world.

He stepped forward.

The ground warped.

Another step—space twisted.

Each movement shifted the location of reality itself.

In a blink—he appeared right in front of Ron.

Red Wolf swung.

Ron teleported—

—but Red Wolf followed him inside the teleportation dimension.

Blue flames consumed Red Wolf's fist as he punched.

Ron blocked with both arms—

—and the dimensional fabric around them bent like cracked glass.

The universe shook.

Distant planets shattered.

Earth

Ron crashed down, blood spraying. His bones were splintered despite his guard.

"What… the hell…" he gasped, staring at the burn-like scar left on him.

Thunder cracked.

Rocky blitzed in and kicked Red Wolf—

—but Red Wolf didn't even blink.

A purple spear ripped through the battlefield, piercing Red Wolf's shoulder. He coughed blood.

Dark Faith? he thought.

Ron teleported in and uppercut Red Wolf into the sky.

A colossal black-and-purple hammer materialized from the air and smashed him back to Earth.

"I didn't expect you two to be this strong…" Red Wolf muttered, staggering. But who is wielding the Dark Faith?

Ron and Rocky didn't let him rise.

Ron vanished—teleport-punching from every angle.

The Dark Faith user isn't one of these two… so where are they?

Rocky blitzed around him, fists raining like a storm.

Suddenly—

Red Wolf's legs were bound by black-and-purple roots.

Dark Faith again!?

Ron appeared before him—purple lightning glowing in his hand.

"A forbidden technique?" Red Wolf whispered.

Ron's punch struck like a divine hammer.

BOOM.

Red Wolf cratered into the ground.

"How did you demons get here?" Ron demanded.

Suddenly—Red Wolf's hand shot up.

He grabbed Ron's face and slammed him into the Earth.

"I never thought I'd see someone use Forbidden Techniques. But you're not strong enough to control them." Red Wolf growled.

Rocky roared and charged—

—but Red Wolf slipped aside.

"You're a nuisance."

He seized Rocky by the face and smashed him onto Ron.

Fists hammered down like meteors.

Rocky was hurled away, skidding across asphalt.

"I lost Locki because of you two."

He unleashed a devastating barrage into Ron's chest and skull.

Ron tried to block—

—but his vision faded—

—and darkness swallowed him.

A massive purple hammer spun through the air like a comet—

—and smashed into Red Wolf's back, launching him through several buildings.

Red Wolf rose, stunned—

—and saw the new figure standing before him.

Carter had arrived.
