Chapter 110 - Chapter 110 (Demons in Town?(3))

"Who are you?" Red Wolf growled.

Carter didn't answer.

He simply stared—cold, silent, unreadable.

Red Wolf took a step toward him… then another…

And then—

His body froze.

Like invisible chains had locked around his limbs.

He looked down—nothing.

He looked up—and Carter's fist was already there.

BOOM.

Red Wolf flew across the horizon, smashing through mountains until crashing in the next city.

Carter followed without a sound.

So the spears and hammer were him…? Red Wolf thought.

But why aren't my wounds healing? What is he?

Red Wolf inhaled deeply and unleashed a torrent of blue fire.

Carter ran into the flames, Ki Barrier shimmering around him.

He slammed a punch into Red Wolf's face—then another—then a flurry of blows landed like thunderclaps.

Red Wolf staggered, blood dripping, bones cracking.

"I… I have no choice but to use demonic magic."

But before he could activate anything, he noticed Carter's hands glowing—

—purple.

Carter pointed a single finger.

A thin, straight beam shot out—silent, precise—

—and pierced directly through Red Wolf's chest.

Red Wolf spat black blood.

He roared and charged again, aura blazing blue.

Carter fired several ki blasts, but Red Wolf tanked every one, ripping through the storm.

Red Wolf shaped his hand into a blade and slashed—

Carter tilted his head, effortlessly dodging.

Suddenly—

SHINK—SHINK—SHINK—SHINK—

Massive purple needles erupted from the ground like spears, impaling Red Wolf through the legs, arms, abdomen—

—even his face.

Then they vanished like smoke.

"You can't defeat me," Carter said quietly.

Red Wolf dropped to his knees.

And for the first time, a memory surfaced—

A voice.

Cold. Merciless.

"If you can't bring Locki back… then don't come back at all. If you fail—we'll kill you ourselves."

The universe began to shake again.

Cracks formed in reality—small holes tearing open around him.

From every tear, blue energy erupted—

—and rushed into Red Wolf's body, swallowing him in a storm of power.

The universe itself trembled as the transformation finished.

Carter watched with a calm, unreadable expression. The moment Red Wolf's new form stabilized, Carter knew one thing—he couldn't allow him to make the first move.

Red Wolf's horns curled backwards, longer and sharper than before. A new layer of something identical to skin formed on his skin like an armor. His demonic transformation started to make cracked the reality, like cracks in glass.

Carter raised his hand.

Dozens of purple strings shot out, wrapping around Red Wolf. Ki surged through the threads, building pressure.

A chain of explosions ripped across the battlefield. When the smoke cleared, a crater large enough to be seen from orbit scarred the planet's surface.

But Red Wolf… was unfazed.

Carter rushed forward, driving a fist straight into Red Wolf's face. The impact barely made the demon blink. Carter unleashed a rapid barrage of punches, each one strong enough to break mountains—yet Red Wolf didn't take a single step back.

Carter leaped away as the ground cracked open. A massive maw of a Mountain Bear—manifested from Carter's Dark Faith—burst from the earth, swallowing everything in its path. Red Wolf fell straight into its jaws.

"This Carter guy… he's the smartest human I've ever met," Red Wolf thought as he fell.

Then—an eruption.

Red Wolf burst free, bleeding heavily.

"I never thought a mortal could push me to this form," Red Wolf growled. "You are strong. Now I see why they fear you."

Carter frowned. "Who fears me?"

Red Wolf smirked. "Not that it matters. Today, you die."

He took a single step.

Lightning struck him. Then another bolt. Then another. Dozens—almost fifty—thunderous strikes hammered him down. Red Wolf dropped to one knee, steaming.

"So… you've awakened," Red Wolf muttered, glaring at Rocky, who now stood beside Carter.

The first light of dawn broke across the horizon.

Purple flames slammed into Red Wolf's back. He dropped to both knees, screaming as Ron stepped forward from the haze.

The trio—Ron, Carter, Rocky—surrounded Red Wolf. All three were exhausted, bleeding, barely standing. Fire had surrounded the battlefield.

Red Wolf's horns began to glow.

He grinned, the smile of a victor.

Ron and Rocky didn't notice it—

but Carter did.

Something was approaching Earth.

From every direction.

Multiple celestial bodies closing in fast.

"We need a shield!" Carter roared.

Rocky tensed—he sensed it too.

"We end this demon now," Ron said, vanishing and reappearing in front of Red Wolf.

Red Wolf fired a beam of light from his glowing horns. Ron blocked it with a flare of purple fire and drove his knee into Red Wolf's face. He grabbed one of the horns, using it as leverage as he spun, kicking Red Wolf's head repeatedly.

For the first time—Red Wolf was taking real damage.

Red Wolf opened his jaws and unleashed a super-sonic scream. Ron teleported out just in time.

The sound wave tore through the sky…

and continued into space…

obliterating every celestial body in its path.
