Vincent walked outside, a man following closely behind him.
"Check everyone who entered this colony in the last week. I want every detail—backgrounds, families, relatives. Everything." Vincent ordered coldly.
"Yes, sir," the man replied before turning and leaving.
Vincent looked into the distance, a faint smile appearing on his face.
"Liora and Ava… both of you will make excellent specimens for my experiments."
Behind him, Kruex stood silently, lost in deep thought.
Meanwhile…
Everyone had returned to their houses and apartments.
Ron, Finian, and Kai also headed back to Kai's room.
"So, Finian," Ron said, looking at him seriously.
Finian took a deep breath and began explaining everything.
As he spoke, both Ron and Kai's eyes widened in shock.
"That villa… Dr. Thomas gifted it to me. I never knew there was a lab beneath it. And Locki is my friend—how could I plan something against him?" Ron said firmly.
He looked at Kai and Finian.
"I had a strong feeling that Liora was behind it. But the real question is—who was the other woman?"
"Well, Liora arrived with Ava," Finian said thoughtfully. "So Ava is probably the second one."
Kai nodded slowly.
"I'll confirm it myself once I leave this place," Ron said.
"What should we do now?" Finian asked.
"They'll investigate Liora and her mysterious partner," Kai said.
"…And when they do," Ron continued, "they'll eventually reach us."
"How?" Finian asked.
"You're Liora's brother. If they discover her identity, they'll investigate her family. That leads to you… and from you, they'll reach me."
Ron paused.
"And that commander… or the woman I saw with Kai the other day… they might recognize me."
Finian sighed.
"And if that happens, they'll come straight for us. Brilliant thinking, Ron. Want to exchange brains?" he said sarcastically.
Ron ignored the remark.
"We move tonight. Once we retrieve what we came for, I'll teleport both of you to Hero Town. After that, I'll deal with Ava and Liora."
"Why tonight?" Finian asked. "Why not wait until things calm down? The curfew… the rumors…"
"They might already know about Liora," Ron replied.
"How?" Kai asked.
"She was a former member of Eclipse. What if someone recognized her?"
Kai nodded slowly.
"Yeah… that would definitely cause problems."
"Then it's settled," Finian said. "We move tonight."
Ron nodded.
"Alright. We rest for the day."
The day passed quickly, and night took over the sky.
Ron and Finian landed silently near the entrance.
The guards heard the footsteps and turned toward them.
Finian calmly raised his palm.
Instantly, every guard froze in place.
"Nice," Ron said with a grin.
Ron moved forward, focusing his senses.
He began to feel it.
Black Sorcery.
"Follow me," Ron said quietly.
Finian walked behind him.
Ron headed straight for the stairs. Security was tight.
Ron placed his hand on Finian's shoulder, and both of them turned invisible.
They walked forward.
He's moving like something is calling him… Finian thought.
They reached the second floor.
Security increased.
Third floor.
Even tighter.
Fourth floor.
Finally, they stepped onto the fifth floor.
The presence of Black Sorcery grew much stronger.
Ron stepped into an invisible field, and Finian followed.
Suddenly—
Their invisibility vanished.
Ron and Finian continued walking.
The guards nearby—who had ignored them before—were now staring directly at them.
"Hey, Ron… is it just me, or can they actually see us?" Finian whispered.
Ron stopped.
The guards slowly surrounded them.
Finian frowned in confusion. He walked toward one of the guards and waved his hand in front of the man's face.
No reaction.
Finian laughed.
"Hahaha! You scared me for a moment. I thought you could actually see me."
He leaned closer to the guard and noticed a strange red device attached to the guard's right eye.
Finian squinted and stared into it.
"Who are you people?!" the guard suddenly shouted.
Finian jumped backward and quickly hid behind Ron.
"You scared me! Wait—what? You can see me?"
"What a clown," the guard muttered.
He pulled out his sword and charged at Finian.
"Finian, I'll leave this place to you," Ron said calmly before walking forward.
Another guard rushed toward Ron.
Before the man could react, Ron kicked him in the face.
The impact sent the guard flying backward, crashing into several others.
Without wasting another second, Ron teleported to the source of the Black Sorcery.
Ron appeared inside a long wooden room designed in traditional Japanese style.
The room stretched endlessly in every direction.
It felt infinite.
Then—
Images appeared around him.
Ron saw memories.
The moment he first arrived in the World of Dark Souls.
His battle against the Dead Titan.
His arrival in Scrubskey Gelenia-2.
Ron stared at those memories silently.
Some of them were from his mercenary days but none of the memories were related to his childhood or about the life he had 800 years ago.
Then another memory surfaced.
The day he first met Dr. Thomas.
