UK:GSW Chapter 380 – The Super Intestinal Taste Buds Technique's Hard CC, Black Zetsu Struck with Sheer Terror
"Eeeeyaa~~"
With a portable music player blasting a thumping BGM, three White Zetsu struck flamboyant, exaggerated poses — at their feet lay a completely sealed White Zetsu Afei. In front of Black Zetsu, who was currently possessing another White Zetsu, they radiated an overwhelming, absurd kind of energy. Each one wore a wicked grin, as if accompanied by some strange rhythmic beat echoing in the void.
These were the three White Zetsu who had appeared before Black Zetsu.
And, bizarrely enough, they were wearing clothes — outfits that were every bit as gaudy as their poses, designed in a sultry Mesoamerican–Mayan style. The top was revealing, the bottom equally so, with a suspender strap covering the groin area.
Facing these three "supreme-grade" White Zetsu, Black Zetsu felt a chill run straight up his spine, smash into the top of his skull, and nearly force a shrill, involuntary noise out of him.
In the end, all he could do was stand there, cold sweat dripping, staring at the trio and forcing himself to suppress his fear as he demanded, "Where… did you come from? No — what are you supposed to be!?"
Although they were still technically White Zetsu, these three supreme-grade ones were much larger than the usual kind — each over two meters tall, their bodies covered in thick, rippling muscles that looked like they'd come straight out of the Raikage's ink-brush sketchbook… or from someone juicing on a very illegal supplement.
What was worse, Black Zetsu's authority to command all White Zetsu had no effect on these three. He could sense they were indeed White Zetsu, yet clearly not the same kind he knew.
And their behavior… was indescribably weird. Why did they have a music player? Why were they striking such bizarre poses? Why were they smiling with that… unspeakably unsettling expression that made him clench involuntarily?
Too strange. Far, far too strange.
Black Zetsu could not comprehend — but he was shaken to his core. Cold sweat continued to pour down his face as he began plotting an escape.
Then, the one in the middle suddenly let his grin collapse into something straight out of Grand Blue Dreaming, before striking a ridiculously flamboyant pose with both hands raised — and letting out a strange, drawn-out "Haa~."
The shout made Black Zetsu jolt, uncertain what the intent was.
But in the very next moment, a faint golden radiance began to glow around the middle White Zetsu, whose eyes lit up in excitement:
"Ah~~ I feel it~! Lord Kei's will is here! The supreme will of Lord Kei has descended!!!"
At these words, the other two supreme-grade White Zetsu shot him a look full of jealousy, then quickly schooled their expressions into deadly seriousness and declared in unison:
"Loooooooyaltyyyyyy~~~"
Black Zetsu: "???"
He was completely dumbfounded. He had always known White Zetsu were… eccentric — but this? This level of absurdity was unprecedented.
Then his mind latched onto the words they had spoken — "Lord Kei"? Who was that? Could it be… an Ōtsutsuki who had secretly come to the ninja world!?
Immediately, sweat poured from him like rain, and he realized why so many White Zetsu had recently appeared beyond his control — and why some of his own had been taken away.
If it was truly an Ōtsutsuki, controlling the White Zetsu would be no difficult task.
After all, in this world, White Zetsu had originally been created by Ōtsutsuki Kaguya as biological weapons to use against her own clan — but if they encountered another Ōtsutsuki, their effectiveness was… questionable.
Even as a die-hard "mother loyalist" who believed in Kaguya without condition, Black Zetsu could not deny the Boruto-era lore: here, Kaguya was merely a branch-house servant, not the "Celestial Princess" of the Shippuden canon. In this context, it was hardly strange that her White Zetsu could be seized by other Ōtsutsuki.
Of course, Black Zetsu's conclusion was completely wrong — but it was the only explanation he could wrap his head around.
And it terrified him.
As Kaguya's will incarnate, he knew all too well how much she feared the main family of the Ōtsutsuki Clan. If they descended upon the ninja world now, before she was freed, everything would be over — even the possibility of saving her would be lost.
This thought alone sent him into a panic so intense that his mind started to spiral into chaos.
(If it had been World No. 1's Black Zetsu, his first thought would have been to wonder how someone could seize control of the White Zetsu — given that Kaguya there truly was a Celestial Princess, and her White Zetsu differed greatly from the ones in World No. 2.)
And then, it hit him.
A strange, indescribable sensation shot from his gut to his head and through his entire body, churning inside him.
Though he had no brain, in that moment it felt as if his nonexistent brain was being stirred like soup — a blend of nausea, pain, shock, dizziness, and countless other sensations at once.
Because the Super Intestinal Taste Buds Technique had just been unleashed.
Through a divine descent into the middle White Zetsu, Uchiha Kei immediately activated this ultimate form of the technique to hard-CC Black Zetsu. In this upgraded version, the intestines grew mimetic "taste buds" lined with eyes and clogged with nasal-like substances — topped off with an assortment of irritants to overwhelm every nerve.
A combined assault on touch, taste, and smell slammed into World No. 2's Black Zetsu all at once, delivering an "experience" unlike anything he had ever endured.
In almost an instant, he lost the ability to think. His mind went blank — and the White Zetsu he was possessing suffered the exact same fate, eyes wide in stunned paralysis.
Through the supreme-grade White Zetsu he was inhabiting, Kei smiled — his plan had worked, and the strike against Black Zetsu was effective.
These three supreme-grade White Zetsu had been ordinary ones Kei found after gaining the "Divine Descent" skill days earlier. Under its effects, he had transformed them into towering two-meter muscle-beasts.
As for their JoJo Pillar Man + Kaiju-level campy bodybuilder posturing? That was pure Kei — the mischief-maker's personal touch. He had known that the sheer absurdity of their entrance would leave Black Zetsu stunned and unsure how to respond.
And indeed, the plan worked perfectly: the moment Black Zetsu laid eyes on them, his brain short-circuited — giving Kei the perfect window to land a full-powered Super Intestinal Taste Buds Technique.
Kei had already proven in the main world that the technique worked on Black Zetsu. Back then, his power was insufficient to capture him — but he had scared him enough to keep him away from Konoha.
Even so, Black Zetsu remained a dangerous factor, one Kei had always wanted to capture but could never be sure of doing so without fail. One wrong move, and the thing would vanish, hiding so well that Kei might never find him again.
World No. 2's Black Zetsu, however, was a different story. With the capture of all the Tailed Beasts nearly complete, he was practically salivating at the thought of executing the Moon's Eye Plan — and thus was far more reckless and high-profile than his main-world counterpart.
This made him vulnerable. And Kei took full advantage.
Even if this attempt failed, Black Zetsu would not simply give up. The plan's importance meant he would return — providing more opportunities.
And if worst came to worst? Kei could always corner him with the "Ōtsutsuki threat" scenario.
Indeed, not only had Black Zetsu himself leapt to the conclusion that these supreme-grade White Zetsu were connected to the Ōtsutsuki, Kei's entire scheme was meant to convince him that an Ōtsutsuki clan member had descended upon World No. 2.
It was hardly a difficult deception. Even during the canon battle against Kaguya, intelligence had been key. With Kei's knowledge, setting a trap for Black Zetsu was child's play.
Now, with his divine descent empowering the supreme-grade White Zetsu, Kei used the Ōtsutsuki's trademark arrogance and coldness in his voice as he addressed him:
"As expected — something crafted by that traitor, Ōtsutsuki Kaguya. What a foolish, lowly woman… Not only did she betray the Ōtsutsuki Clan, she allowed herself to be sealed away by the monkeys of this world, leaving behind only a fragment of her will to try and free herself. Pathetic."
Even while still reeling from the Plus Edition of the Super Intestinal Taste Buds Technique, Black Zetsu understood the meaning in Kei's words — and his body trembled violently, his pupils shaking.
"It's real!"
"It is an Ōtsutsuki!"
"The main-family Ōtsutsuki my mother fears most has come!"
"This is bad, this is bad, this is bad! Mother is still sealed! Mother's in danger!"
"I have to save her immediately — or it'll be too late!!"
Now fully panicked, his thoughts in total disarray, Black Zetsu tried to flee on the spot.
But the supreme-grade White Zetsu were faster. They moved in instantly — and their opening move was to pull out sealing scrolls containing the super sealing technique jointly provided by Kushina Uzumaki and Minato Namikaze!
