The gods, like Shurry, couldn't help but chuckle a bit at that line, remembering it from an incredibly long time ago. The wolves simply turned and tilted their heads, confused about the line.
The other adventurers, on the other hand, didn't have time to feel confused about the line Shurry just pulled, nor why the gods were laughing. For what stood before them was none other than the monster rex of the 58th floor. And he wasn't happy in the slightest. The sheer power radiating off him was nothing short of impressive.
Finn was frozen with fear at the sight of this beast. "It's… It's way stronger than that Demi-Spirit we fought on the 59th floor…" He uttered, feeling pretty much hopeless. His thumb broke, and that was when his sight changed.
"Now that's one freaky monster…" Leon said, drawing his magic to the fullest of throttles, chanting under his breath.
"This'll be hard…" Ottar said, stepping up, drawing both of his long swords, his body grew and stretched as he continued forward, showing he, along with Leon, had discovered the reason Shurry'd been pushing them so hard.
Bell watched the two with a smirk on his face. "Heh, let's go. Time to conquer this overgrown lizard." He launched into an agile charge forward, drawing his blades, warming up his Argos Vesta.
Allen had been staring at the horrid sight, a massive dragon… Memories flooded his mind, and as the guttural dragon's roar shook everyone's resolve, he, and he alone, shook… Vibrated with a boiling rage. And… out from the depths of his gut… He let out something forgotten, something primal… Absolutely filled with the rage of a predator.
In a moment of pure shock, Allen's magic cast itself, and he took off in a streak of raging silver. Twirling his spear with each step, slamming into the dragon's body, harassing the massive beast.
"That's new…" Freya blinked with a shocked expression. "I wonder…" She looked at Anya…
Anya snapped out of her confusion, and then… She looked at Shurry. "I want to help them, my magic… Can you protect them from it?"
"Find a way to use it without harming them. Or better yet give them the debuff, making the situation that much harder to overcome, would be interesting to see how well they do with a little extra difficulty. It is quite easy as it is now, provided they think of the solution."
"I…"
"You don't have a weapon anymore, do you?" Shurry asked.
"Yes, Finn wanted to borrow it for this fight…" Anya pouted, looking at the basic extras. "Those will shatter against this enemy.
"Hey, this fight will take some time, get to forging, Welf."
"I already am! Give me a minute, damn." Welf shouted back.
Shurry smirked, and then placed a hand on Anya's head, giving her a few head pats. "You'll have to wait a few minutes, but I can see you want to play. So go ahead, and transform, go have some fun and help bring down that monster rex."
Anya was confused for a moment, then she felt something change… Like a law of reality being over written. She could feel it… "Lord Origin Wolf?"
"Trust in that, and push forward. Believe in yourself."
Anya turned, and started running straight for the Monster rex… That massive figure resembling her nightmare, the one responsible for ending her homeland. She glowed, her body rapidly changing as she sprinted, fully taking over, and… She started running faster, and faster… A cat ran across the field, growing larger and larger, suddenly she was the size of one of Shurry's wolves, and felt her strength reaching several folds beyond her normal baseline. When the dragon's tail came around, she bit down on it, hard, extending her claws, slowing the attack keeping the tail locked down.
Freya watched completely floored. Both of her cats just pushed beyond their nightmares, seeking greater power… "Good job Anya."
The dragon, not enjoying his tail being locked down, turned its head, ignoring all of the other flies, and released scorching flames…
However, these flames would never reach her. Thanks to a certain dwarf, with a grit teeth grin.
"Don't worry, I'll keep ya safe." Gareth said, then a barrier of magic surrounded the two of them. "Awe, thanks elf."
"Don't mention it…" Riveria said, sweating as the spell was draining mana at an incredibly ridiculous speed.
Finn finally snapped out of his confusion, and glared. "Fairy force, start chanting, target the right flank!" He said with a pound of his spear. "Allen, Bell, keep up the harassment." He said with another pound of the spear. "Leon, prepare yourself to the absolute max, Ottar, channel your strongest attack… Lefiya, swap with Lefiya! Ais, Tiona, get Lefiya there. Bete, Tione, keep that dragon from breathing fire." He added another order. Then he walked towards the Gullivers.
"What are you doing here, Finn?"
"We're going to handle the flank." Finn smirked, then pointed to Liliruca. "Keep it up."
Liliruca was already in shock before, but now she was serious, realizing that Finn did that specifically because she knows more about the others than he did. Though this didn't help Hedin's mental state, he stayed behind to continue aiding in the command.
"Lady Haruhime, target Masters Allen, Bell, Bete, Leon, Ottar, and Finn." Liliruca ordered.
"I can do more…" Haruhime said with a resolute tone. Casting her second spell, she grew 8 magical tails, and then… She used her third spell, inspired by something she witnessed Chloe do the other day. Suddenly 8 tails turned into clones, each clone had their own tails, 9 in total. And… each clone used the first spell. Casting her level boost 72 times…. Everyone got the level boost magic.
"Woah, now that's something else. Haruhime's magic just got a major upgrade…" Takemikazuchi said in shock.
"Isn't she! It's fantastic! She's so amazing!" Hestia cheered, then stopped with a curious expression. "She should have fainted though."
"Uhm, Alpha Shurry? I… I didn't pass out?" Haruhime wondered aloud, very concerned.
"I refilled your mind as it was depleting. This isn't the time for you to pass out. It wouldn't be fair to you if you didn't get to watch the others use your magic to slay this monster rex." Shurry smiled warmly.
The battle continued, everyone very quickly learning the difference between them, and the freaky power this monster rex had. The floor began to suffer some degree of significant damage.
