Floating far above the clouds, Nerrisa quietly sneered to herself as she looked toward the enormous landmass descending from beyond the sky. Her platinum hair drifted lazily behind her while the cold currents moved around her unmoving figure. Her eyes stayed calm, almost amused, as she watched the thing continue falling. Zane's words reached her clearly despite the distance between them. She listened to his explanation about impossibility, about hardness, about how even she could not stop something like this once it began falling, and for a moment she simply stared upward before letting out a faint breath from her nose.
She wasn't angry.
Honestly she wasn't even offended. She simply found his conclusion strange. Because from his perspective, the logic seemed simple if he could not break it casually, and if the city could not survive it, then destruction became inevitable.
