Chapter 1

The room was dark.

Not because the lights didn't work, but because he hadn't turned them on in days.

The only light came from the monitor.

A pale, flickering glow.

And in front of it sat Rayon.

His eyes were bloodshot.

Dry. Unblinking.

The cursor hovered over a single line.

Completion Rate: 99%

His fingers trembled slightly on the mouse.

"…again."

Click.

The screen shifted.

A battlefield loaded. Ruins stretched endlessly beneath a dead, black sky.

He knew this place.

Of course he did.

He knew everything.

Every route.

Every hidden quest.

Every NPC line that triggered alternate endings.

He had seen it all.

Done it all.

Broken the game in ways the developers never intended.

And yet he still couldn't reach him.

Rayon leaned back, the chair creaking.

"Demon King—defeated."

"True Ending—unlocked."

"Hidden Ending—completed."

"All routes… cleared."

A pause.

His lips curled into a dry, humorless smile.

"All… except one."

Kaevorian Vectorius.

The name needed no explanation.

Every player who went far enough knew it.

The Archduke of the Vectorious Household.

A man feared across kingdoms.

Not hidden. Not secret.

Just unreachable.

Not because no one knew where he was.

But because no one ever made it that far.

Rayon exhaled slowly.

"…those monsters."

Not Kaevorian himself.

His subordinates.

The final defense.

Players had given them names over time.

The Wall.

The Filter.

The End Before the End.

Rayon remembered the forums. Endless threads. Failed attempts. broken strategies.

People didn't lose instantly.

They lost slowly.

Inevitably.

One would drain your resources until nothing remained.

Another would read your patterns and adapt mid-fight.

Another would twist your decisions until you doubted yourself.

Individually, they were manageable.

Together, they were impossible.

Rayon leaned forward, eyes sharpening.

"They're not just enemies…"

A quiet breath left him.

"They're a system."

And at the center of it stood Kaevorian Vectorius.

"I found you."

His voice was hoarse. Quiet. Obsessed.

"I know how to reach you."

Click.

Another attempt.

His character stood before the final defense.

The atmosphere itself felt heavier.

Even after countless attempts, this part never felt normal.

Rayon's fingers moved.

Precise. Controlled. Perfect.

The first fell cleanly.

No wasted motion.

The second adapted.

As expected.

Rayon adjusted instantly.

Countered.

Won.

The third moved.

Then hesitated.

Rayon frowned.

"…that's different."

The movement wasn't part of any known pattern,Subtle,But wrong, Still, he pushed forward, Faster now. Sharper.

Closer than ever before.

"This time…"

The screen flickered.

For a moment, everything distorted.

And then he saw it.

Far beyond the battlefield.

A figure.

Standing still.

Watching.

Rayon's breath caught.

"…Kaevorian."

The figure didn't move.

Didn't react.

Just sat there on his black throne, distant and untouchable.

Then the screen returned to normal.

The battle resumed.

Rayon's fingers moved faster now.

Almost desperate.

"Just a little more…"

He was close.

Closer than ever before.

And then the power went out.

The screen died instantly.

Everything vanished.

Rayon stared at the black screen.

Unmoving.

Unblinking.

"…no."

Silence.

No response.

No light.

Just darkness.

His grip on the mouse tightened, then slowly loosened.

"…not now."

His body swayed.

Weak.

Too weak.

He hadn't eaten.

Hadn't slept.

Hadn't stopped.

For how long, he didn't know.

Didn't matter.

His eyes remained fixed on the dead monitor.

"…I was close."

No anger.

No shouting.

Just quiet.

After a while, he leaned back slowly.

His eyes began to close.

"Just… one more try…"

And then everything went still.

Sound returned first.

Faint. Distant.

"…it's a boy."

"…the Baron's heir…"

Warmth followed.

Then pressure.

Rayon's consciousness stirred slowly.

Heavy. Unfamiliar.

He tried to move.

He couldn't.

Tried to speak.

No voice came.

Light filtered in, blurred and unclear.

Shapes formed.

Faces.

Someone was holding him.

"…Rayon Meyers."

The name echoed.

Not the same.

Something felt wrong.

His body.

Too small.

Too weak.

Not his.

Voices continued around him.

"…the Meyer family finally has an heir…"

"…a baron's bloodline…"

Baron.

The word struck deep.

Memory.

Knowledge.

Game knowledge.

Rayon's thoughts froze.

"…Meyers…?"

That name existed.

Not as the protagonist.

Not as anything important.

Just a minor noble house.

Insignificant.

His breathing grew uneven.

"…that's not right."

In the game, the protagonist had no origin.

No lineage.

No limits.

But this…

This was fixed.

Defined.

Real.

Something had changed.

Time passed.

He didn't know how long.

Days.

His mind adjusted slowly to the new body.

To the weakness.

To the silence.

Then one day, voices came again.

Clearer this time.

His parents.

"…have you read this?"

"…the capital's newsletter…"

Paper rustled.

"…the Archducal House of Vectorius…"

A pause.

"…their seventh son has been born."

Rayon's thoughts stopped.

"…what?"

"…they're calling him a prodigy already…"

"…Kaevorian Vectorius…"

Silence filled his mind.

That name.

Not distant.

Not unreachable.

Present.

Alive.

Now.

A slow, cold realization settled in.

Same time.

Same world.

Rayon's breathing grew shallow.

"…I…"

Fragments connected.

His death.

The darkness.

This body.

This world.

"…I'm… not playing anymore."

Not a game.

Not a reset.

Reincarnation.

The word formed clearly in his mind.

And for the first time—

His expression changed.

Not excitement.

Not obsession.

Shock.

Then—Slowly—

Something else replaced it.

A smile.

Small.

Sharp.

"…good."

His thoughts steadied.

Focused.

"If he's here…"

A quiet breath.

"Then I don't have to chase the end."

His eyes, still unfocused as an infant's, seemed to settle.

"I'll reach him from the beginning."

And deep inside—

That obsession returned.

Stronger.

More dangerous.

"Kaevorion Vectorious"

Because this time—

"Im going to make your life a living hell"

"There is no system to protect you"

"Your Streak of Undefeat is destined to be broken by Me"
