Adam quickly sent a mental command to the targeted drones, instructing them to dodge out of the way so that the spikes flew past them, barely missing.

After seeing that none of its spikes hit the annoying stinging pests, the Scorpo seemed to thrash around for a few moments before it suddenly raised its tail, which started to glow a strange dark purple colour.
[Phoenixempress (Fenix Nest): Oh fuck, Adam, get out of there, it's about to shoot Scorpofacid.]

As everyone watched, the Scorpo suddenly sprayed some kind of purple liquid that seemed to smoke slightly from the tip of its sharp tail before flicking its tail so that the liquid sprayed all over the place and flew towards Spector Unit Six and the drones.
Adam had Spector Unit 6 fly upwards in an attempt to dodge the strange purple liquid while sending a mental command to the drones.
However, because Adam was still getting used to the Neurolink version 2, he wasn't able to issue individual commands to each of the ten drones in quick succession while also controlling Spector Unit 6 to fly upwards. Because of this, three of the drones flew upwards like Spector Unit 6, four flew sideways, and the remaining three flew towards the Scorpo.
The three dones that flew upwards and the four that flew sideways all managed to evade the strange smoking purple liquid; however, as Adam flew Spector Unit 6 upwards, its tail got hit by the liquid and started to sizzle and smoke. The three drones that flew directly towards the Scorpio were the worst to come off, however, as they got completely covered in the purple liquid.

"What the fuck," Adam cursed in surprise as he saw the notification before looking, turning Spector Unit 6's head towards where the three drones were hit and seeing that they had stopped moving, their orange glow had vanished, and they were starting to dissolve.

"Luckily, he managed to avoid the majority of the attack and only the end of its tail got caught; otherwise, that could have been the end for Diva Lorelie's boyfriend," Dulaebella remarked.
"What do you suppose Spector Unit Six's chances are of winning this?" Honcho asked curiously.
"I think the better question is, what are the chances Spector Unit Six can hold out until the Felinia Seven Defence Force arrives?" Raella said with a smirk.
"Raella is correct, we have already seen that Spector Unit Six's energy bolts are ineffective against the Scorpo, except for making it even more angry than it already is. Because of this, we can assume that beam sabres will also be ineffective against it.
If it were a young Scorpo, it wouldn't be a problem; however, since it's an adult, its carapace is tougher and very resistant against energy-based attacks," Dulaebella explained.
"I guess we will have to see since there is still no sign of the Felinia Seven Defence Force," Honcho replied before asking, "I wonder what could be taking them so long?"

"Where the fuck is the defence force?" Maiya asked angrily as she turned to Sata.
"There was a delay in deploying them since most of the defence force is being used as additional security while the UMB Cup is taking place because of all the extra visitors to the galaxy," Sata replied.
"Fuck, talk about a bad time for a damn Scorpo to pay our galaxy a visit," Maiya complained.
"Well, at least it appears that Diva Lorelie's boyfriend is holding his own; his mechs' speed and manoeuvrability are far superior to the Scorpos. I believe he only got hit by the Scorpofacid because he wasn't expecting it," Director Opealbeard remarked.
"Well, he is from outside the known universe, so he has probably never encountered or even heard of Scorpos before today," Maiya replied before she suddenly heard an exasperated sigh from Sata, causing her to turn and ask.

"Nothing serious, just those idiots over at the spaceport being stupid again. Once the opening ceremony is over, I need to speak to the head of the spaceport about their hiring standards," Sata complained.
"What happened?" Maiya asked curiously.
"The same group from before have once again raised the alarm that missiles are firing out from docking bay Gamma Seven Nine, this time two of them," Sata said with a sigh before adding, "It was obviously just his replacement drones."
"Well, to be fair, they did look like missiles from a distance," Director Opealbeard remarked.
"Except for the fact that they were passing right next to the docking bay in question at the time," Sata informed.
"Ah," Director Opealbeard replied while Maiya shook her head.
"DIRECTOOOOORRRRRR, DIRECTOOOOORRRRRR, WEEEEERRRRRREEEEEE NUMBER ONE," One of Director Opealbards' assistants shouted as they rushed into Maiya's private box.
"What are you shouting about?" Director Opealbeard asked before angrily saying, "We are guests here, do you really think it's appropriate for you to be shouting like that in someone else's box?"
"Sorry, sorry," The assistant said before turning to Maiya and saying, "Sorry, Matriarch Maiya, I meant no disrespect."
"It's fine, but would you mind explaining what you mean?" Maiya replied with curiosity.
"Our Sportscast feed is number one on the Universal Subspace Network for all feeds," The assistant said excitedly.
"Really?" Director Opealbeard asked in surprise.
"Yes, yes, it's all over Xer-verse that Spector Unit Six is fighting against a Scorpo alone that suddenly appeared near Felinia Seven. Residents of Felinia Seven have even started claiming that the original Black Knight has returned to save them from the Scorpo, just like he saved the Phoenix race during the Siege of Fenix Nest. They have started referring to him as the hero of Felinia Seven," the assistant explained excitedly.
"The hero of Felinia Seven?" Maiya asked in surprise as she looked sideways at Sata.
"Yes, the citizens of Felinia Seven are talking about how Spector Unit Six is fighting the Scorpo alone while the Felinia Seven Defence Force is nowhere to be seen," the assistant explained.
"Oh gods," Maiya groaned.
