{POV - Jumper}
My eyes close and open.
I find my sense of hearing being bombarded by a cocophony of noise.
People surround me on every angle talking with each other.
Their all teens as I am too.
The moment I had regained my senses I was flooded with memories of having lived another life.
My name was Nathaniel Fink and I was born in Austria but then moved to California at the age of 8.
Growing up I had trouble making friends because of adjusting to America and mostly spend my time focusing on school.
Because of my affinity with scientific subjects I became somewhat of famous in the schools social ecosystem being known as a local Genius quickly getting socially adopted by the nerd clique of the students when I entered highschool.
Two years ago the grandfather on my mothers side passed away leaving me the inherit ownership of the very ski lodge I am standing in right now.
Currently it was almost New Years and my family decided we'ed go here to this official New Years Eve Party just because I now was the owner of the place it was celebrated in.
There were currently two separate parties going on at the same time.
One for the teens and one for the adults.
I was currently in the place where the teen party was going down in.
However I now know that I was not always Nathaniel.
I remember that in another live I had grown up in Austria with a different family under a different name.
Melvin Banyan.
That was the other name I remember having.
In that live I actually grew into my late twenties until one day I found myself in an anomalous room with a computer which had the power to send me to other worlds and give me choices for them.
That thing turned me into a Jumper.
This situation felt weird but I could clearly instinctively understand the situation I was in.
I had well and truly reincarnated in though my status as a Jumper but just regained my memories in this instance since the plot of the movie this world is based on has just started.
I can at least be very thankful that I do not have to panic or have an identity crisis or two.
Now that I remember all of my knowledge I should quickly go to the bathroom.
Leaving the party behind I make my way to enter the restroom to go take a seat in one of the toilet stalls.
The inciding incident of the movie would happen soon where the two leads Gabriella and Troy where to be chosen by the spotlights of this party to sing karaoke together.
Then they would find out they were talented singers and Troy would develop a crush on her.
After two weeks or so when school starts again Troy would find out Gabriella would be a new transfer student at his highschool where the rest of the plot would then happen afterwards which I would have to keep intact somewhat.
Because of the document I used to enter this Jump mentioned that I would be guaranteed to be chosen by the spotlights for karaoke if I chose the ‚Freaky Genius' or ‚Wildcat' Origin so I had already taken out that possibility from happening by removing myself from the party entirely so the two could still meet under the same circumstances.
If the two leads couldn't meet like in the movie I would practically have 0% chance of getting that Scenario Reward.
And with how the rest of the movie turned out my mere existence wouldn't really affect the original plot if I were to not directly interact and oppose the main and side characters.
But since this me was not that social and not really interacted with anyone except the nerd clique who only were side characters for the movie having an additional member who barely interacts with anyone shouldn't really change that much so I could pretty much rest easy for the rest of my stay in this world until the plot of the movie ended in this world.
It would still be best if I stay a bit longer here in the toilet though.
I didn't want to make my minor plans go into flames now would I.

I voice I do not know the origin of reverberates in my mind.
I instantly remember something.
I had taken a Drawback that added voices in my head that reacted as if they were reaction YouTubers watching a movie in which I was the main character/focus point of the camera.
It would be best to just ignore them and their comments as they definitely wouldn't be entertained watching the boring school life of a somewhat normal teen.
I hated unnecessary drama afterall.
Spacing them out shouldn't be too much of a hassle since I got pretty good at that in the last two Gauntlets.
Taking out the cellphone from my pockets I check the time to see that it only takes five more minutes until midnight.
At that point the two leads should have already finished their karaoke singing which would mean I would be in the clear.
Sadly since this was a 2000's cellphone I couldn't pass my time with doomscrolling while in the bathroom.
If I wasn't locked out of out of context items I'd have used my old smartphone but oh well, can't get too used to such luxuries.
I can't really complain too much either since I did receive a whopping 600 points for that Drawback.
Now with my immediate problems resolved I can focus on something else.
My body feels way weaker than before.
Still higher than before I became a Jumper but less than my previous Gauntlets.
I guess that's because the improvements I made during the first Gauntlet through training either stayed with my original bodies alt-form or it was locked away like my out of context abilities.
This discrepancy then wasn't as big in the second Gauntlet since my body was more Perk enhanced to be around a similar level then since I should have been reduced to just my base body mod and in-context Perks back then too.
But still, I should be around peak human with the Body Mod right now.
Thinking back, I should still be able to freely change my gender because that Perk got added to my Body Mod.
I didn't really try using it during the second Gauntlet since it wasn't a priority and I was made of black crystals then or at least looked like I was.
With that though I of course I immediately tested it out while still staying in the bathroom stall.

I felt some slight changes but nothing major.
Looking down at myself I could at least notice my chest area was a bit larger.
Since I was in a stall away from prying eyes I just peeked a little at my own body and yeah, I definitely had bigger boobs now.
I tried to increase their size but nothing changed.
I guess I have bad boob genes or something that even supernaturally giving myself estrogen didn't make them bigger.
There were some men with absolutely massive honkers after all.
Mmm man boobs.
I definitely need to be smothered by 10 ft tall shark or dragon man in the future.
Anyways, looking into my pants I also discovered I could indeed freely add and or remove my penis and or replace it with a vagina.
I watched in unusual amusement as the spot where my dick usually was opened up, closed and re-grew my guy over and over again.
I could even have both or neither if I so wished while my chest stayed enlarged or shrunken down to its original size independently.
Definitely interesting stuff but I am only planning to continue testing this ability after I leave this world as it would be extremely awkward if my parents found out or worse the government.
I definitely don't want to be studied and experimented on in a lab for having a superpower that allowed me to be legally and biologically queer.
Promptly going back to my default male setting I leave the bathroom as midnight already struck which I knew because I rechecked the time on my handy cellphone.

{Time Skip - 3 Weeks}
Properly adjusting to this family life was a bit awkward at first since I remembered having another set of parents who I cared about and having already been an adult previously but it was manageable.
The car stops where I then leave the vehicle.
Behind me comes out the voice of my mom.
„Have a great first day sweetie!"
And off she goes driving away.
Looking over the area there are students of all kinds standing outside the school.
In the close distance stands the towering building that is East High.
The titular high school of Highschool Musical.
This would be my third year here but it would be my first year with two lifetimes worth of memories.
It shouldn't be too difficult though since I'm a smart fella and not a fart smella.
Even if I'm nervous since I still carried school related trauma from my first life.
I was depressed as fuck back then because of putting too much stress on myself and having some real shitty luck with the Mathematics and German teachers.
I only got out of that dark place thanks to my parents taking direct action and giving me hope by letting me search for an apprenticeship position while also making me go to therapy.
There were a few mishaps but in the end it worked out.
I finished the apprenticeship, got a job and lived on my own since then after turning 22.
Approaching the building I'm still left with more stray thoughts.
The voices have been annoying but they seem to only randomly talk instead of all the time.
Weirdness aside I'm just going in get through the day, be forced to spend time by the clique I'm in and leave to get picked up by my mom and repeat for two months.
It simply doesn't get simpler.
On my own I can then go to some libraries and speed read through their entire book selections and then I can be prepared for a lot of different kinds of situations.
Might as well also check the internet of this day and age to see what else has been uploaded on Wikipedia as of now.
Also some light exercises everyday or two to stay fit even if I don't need it or have training boosters at the moment.
The habit needs to be maintained anyway since it's good to have it once the booster returns.
Maybe I can even ask my parents to join a dojo or something to actually gain some real human on human close quarters fighting experience that isn't reliant on weapons?

A familiar air vibration frequency reverberated.
Leaving my mind and a turning of a head later I'm greeted by the school clique I got forcefully adopted by.
The voice I heard belonged to Taylor, Taylor McKessie.
A dark skinned feminist woman who was also the president of the science club.
Even if she had a prejudice against the sport students and was an avid fan of important women in history she wasn't a misandrist.
God bless whoever made her not insufferable in the movies production team.
It's really hard when someone shares the same belief but does it in such a dogshit way it genuinely makes you want to switch sides.
And ironically enough the movie had a bunch of darker skinned characters as side characters in both the schools basketball team, the science club and background students which is reflected in this worlds America overall state.
The racism is also unusually low for American standards but this is a Disney world.
And behind her were the rest of the members of the scholastic Decathlon team.
Also known as the science club.
„Sup."
I responded casually and followed them inside.
Our relationship was purely professional mostly since we just studied together and took part in all of the yearly decathlon competitions and didn't do much else in our free time when hanging out.
Except for some instances that I will not be talking about because of the warcrime we committed in the schools lab.
I could have participated more actively with them but just listening to their conversations while I did my own thing with some hints and tips being given here or there helped out enough times where they let me be on my own most of the time.
Welp now I'm just going to have to go through school again.
{Time Skip - 2 Days}
„So, have you got anyone you fancy?"
I stare at the individual who just asked me a question mid-bite of the schools wack ass lunch.
I had been idly bored by the schools lack of challanging material and annoying menial tasks we had to do.
They could have been helpful if I wasn't already a fully educated adult but I was and in the body of a teen at that so I couldn't just not do it.
„Nope, I don't really care for anyone."
I responded with a blank face and emotionless voice continuing to eat the bland temu sandwich.
I should really start making homemade school lunches like I had done when I was in a European school.
The schooling system here was also quite a bit weirder with how it handled its naming conventions and subjects for some reason in comparison.
Or it could be because this is a Disney world but who knows.
It doesn't matter.
The part where I had to sit among fellow clique members in this school cafeteria was definitely more awkward than just eating in the classroom like I used to though.
Then all of a sudden there was singing.
Everyone in the cafeteria began dancing too.

I was just left speechless in my seat continuing to eat the food like nothing out of the ordinary was going on.
The plot must be continuing on then I guess.
After arriving at the school Gabriella would be somewhat convinced by Troy to partake in the schools theater musical where Sharpey and her twin brother would research her online and then alert Taylor of her status as a genius to rope her into the decathlon team.
Aka social adoption.
Like what happened to me.
Then both women would walk into the schools cafeteria where Troy would have opened up about trying to go take part in the musical to his sports team for a second time which would result in a musical performance by the entire cafeteria about sticking to the status quo in response to some other students opening up about them having hobbies different from their expected cliques standards.
The song would then end when Gabriella's Mac n' Cheese falling on Sharpey after slipping on a spilled milk carton mid song.
As the chill guy as I was I just existed, exhausted from my second school day while the musicals going on.
[Bro really just doesn't care.]
Weirdly eldritch too since their singing and dancing about them not allowing others and themselves to sing and dance.
[Man, he really doesn't care at all.]
Anyways, I got a free Creme brûlée out of it.
One of the short haired black Basketballers opened up about baking as a hobby loudly along with one of my decathlon members being into hiphop and a skater playing the jello.
They were all shut down by their cliques with more sticking to the status quo crap.
The guy did manage to make a Creme Brûlée in like less than a minute in the schools cafeteria somehow.
Which is exactly why I got one right now!
„Thanks again for the Creme Brûlée!"
I thanked the guy again after walking off while eating the dessert after the song ‚Stick to the Status Quo' ended.
It tasted pretty good.
Being stared at by my fellows while eating was now a bit more annoying as they focused their full focus on me but I was shameless and had a great pokergace.
A few seconds later, Taylor and Gabriella walked up to us with the club president immediately starting to introduce us.
„Well let's meet our newest member of the club, Gabriella! She is the new transfer student and has a track record of winning many scientific competitions before."
I just give a thumbs up while continuing eating.
{Time Skip ~ 1 Month}
This definitely feels off but oh well beggars can't be choosers.
We were currently in the school lab where we had set up a video screen connected to a camera that was live-streaming Troy.
His team had come to us to make a plan together to stop both Troy and Gabriella from participating in the musical and focus on their own upcoming competitions.
Of course the quote on quote brilliant plan was to film Troy saying he doesn't care about Gabriella after having his team have a speech about how famous basketballers never did musicals in school and that he can't do both.
And it was working.
Gabriella definitely looked somewhat heartbroken.
Eh, it didn't really matter.
I was just here for the Scenario reward as if it weren't for it I would have already have directly intervened in some of the bullshit that was being pulled in this school.
Like for real, the clique gatekeeping is hella weird and doesn't make any sense except in a the context of a Disney setting.
It sometimes really feels like this life is fake as fuck sometimes but in other occasions it just feels like normal regular boring reality.
However I am still too lazy to not just follow with the canon plot to complete the Scenario.
It will still somehow work out in the end and if it doesn't it will just be a bad highschool experience for them.
When they become adults it will be like it didn't happen.
If the plot would still follow through that shouldn't happen though.
{Time Skip - 1 Week}
Ha.
I was damn right!
Both the basketball team and the science club now felt sorry for both of them and realised they were being stupid.
[Bruh, the plot is so cliche.]
Even the voices in my head agree.
Who knew just being a boring quiet kid would make the commentators run out of things to comment about fast.
Not me that's for sure.

Now that I think about it it does sound kinda stupid of me.
I am still a dumbass it looks like.
Since both competitions are soon approaching and the apology part of the plot is happening the only thing left to happen before I leave is the change of date of when the musical happens to be the same day of both the other events which will happen in like a week flat.
Just gotta go through with the canon plan and I will be done.
{Time Skip - 1 Week}
Alright, it is possibly the last day I will spend in this world now and the only thing standing between me and the next world is a Decathlon and some more disruptions I need to cause for both leads to go take part in the musical while the other two things take place.
Us, the science club will take part in the Decathlon and just before the musical begins we cause a chemical reaction in the giant volcano set we have set up for decoration purposes.
The basketball team however will have to mess with the schools electrical power to have everyone evacuated out of the sports hall at the same time we do our stunt so that the musical can go on with Troy and Gabriella.
Afterwards the school should have restored power and cleaned up our messes to then continue both other events where I'll have completed all conditions of the Scenario with both of our teams winning and have the plot of the first Highschool Muscial movie end with another musical performance by the entire school.
In short, I am going to crush this Decathlon with my preparations and knowledge equivalent to miäultiple groups of teens.
The speed reading and perfect recall combo was busted for school.
The intelligence Perk just widened the gap even further.
Arriving to the room where the Decathlon is taking place, I and my fellows were given the papers with the questions and experiments we had to solve.
It was basically just an exam one had to complete as a group but you were competing with another group doing the same exam as yours.
We were up against another school which I didn't bother learning the name of and some professional scientists were our judges.
Nothing out of the ordinary here for some reason.
In my past life this seemed a bit more suspicious to me but I wasn't American so I couldn't really tell how normal this was for them.
The timer started and both us and the opposing team began.
Because of good communication and Gabriella & me being cracked at science we were blazing through the questions like Einstein and Tesla reborn.
I didn't know why I picked that as our comparison but it worked well enough.
And according to plan our chemical gas explosion of fart juice did wonders making everyone run out.
We weren't finished with all the questions yet but we probably just would continue were we left of when everyone returned, it mostly didn't matter.
Sitting here watching the musical called „Twinle Town" was a real magical experience though.
Not because the singing was good mind you but because every individual who was with us in the Decathlon including the opposing team of the other school and the adults were watching with us and applauding.
The enemy basketball team was even cheering Troy on along the Wildcats which was the team name of our schools basketball team.
Was it unanimously decided by every living organism to watch this Highschool Musical's highschool musical?
Who even fucking knows.
Finishing up with the performance I make my way to the Decathlon again along with the rest of my schoolmates to win that darn thing.
{Time Skip - 2 Hours}
Ma, everyone is acting crazy again!
Ehem, where are my manners.
Everybody is once again acting as if they were hit with the medieval dance and song plague.
Literally everyone except me is in the PE area now sing „We're all in this Together" like bitch, no we aren't and I really kinda just want to go home, man.
I of course don't say none of this out loud and just continue to awkwardly sit in a corner.
After a short eternity I am however saved by a kidnapping when the song ends.
{Location - Jump Selection Space}
The comfort of isolation once again hit me.
I was in the Jump Selection Room once more.
Making my way back towards the computer I regained some of my spend social energy.
The last Jump only took around two months if I only counted the time I remembered both of my life's but last day genuinely unnerved me where it felt unreal with some of its illogical circumstances.
The occasional comments from the voices didn't help either but that was my fault for taking the Drawback.
Just having human contact was enough for me.
I was getting closer to becoming insane propably though.
I really can't be sure if this even is real anymore to be honest.
Those two months felt faker than the two Gauntlets where I was isolated.
I definitely need some better experiences.
But that can wait.
I still have one more Jump to go to before I can go to some longer Jumps where the settings are more realistic for the sake of my sanity.
The Highschool Musical Jump doc is still open and so I go claim the reward for successfully completing the Scenario „The Start of Something New".
The reward is an exclusive Perk called „The Show Must Go On".
It's effect is to stop the plot of future Jumps to unexpectededly change from small things while still allowing deliberate changes to be made to it by the Jumper, aka me.
Something whose worth is extremely high for reincarnators and transmigrators alike who possess canon plot knowledge.
Small changes may cause massive changes in the long run of a plot which are hard for an ordinary person to handle all at once which makes it easier for overlooked problems to spiral out of control if you aren't extremely careful to barely do anything like I did whilst conscious in the previous Jump.
With this extra protection I can be more safe when enacting changes in the plotlinrs of future worlds I would want to visit.
If I failed the Scenario I could have just bought a Perk with a similar effect in a future Jump but not needing to pay for it with Choice Points and getting it this early was still worthwhile.
Then I start searching up on the the computers interface to add an additional app onto its homepage.
The icon is of a colourful toy cannon shooting a ball towards a red robot dummy.
Knock Em' All.
This was one of those shitty mobile games that a jumpmaker in the community actually made a Jump for.
Since I really liked that specific jumpmakers Jumps I even read through their Jumps which didn't sound that interesting to me.
This is how I found out about this Jump before I became a Jumper.
I however actually discovered that it had some pretty nice Perks and Items on offer.
And for those Purchases I decided to come here relatively early.
What it offered to me was very useful currently by filling in some holes in my skillset while also having some minor upgrades to make what I can already do just have more oomph to it.
It also had some some stuff that is a basically just worse stuff that I want to get in some future Jumps but temporarily having worse versions is still better than having no option for it at all.
With my current overall power level it shouldn't be that dangerous or difficult to me either thanks to me having access to all Perks and Items from previous Jumps now that I am not partaking in a Gauntlet or taking Lockdown Drawbacks.
I even played through the Mobile Game a bit whilst stuck in the white void house of the NNN Gauntlet.
It's plot was basically nonexistent with everything being context clued from the barebones gameplay.
Basically you were a just a guy with cannon gun that shoots bouncy balls at robots that slowly walk towards you.
Oh, and did I mention that you were parkpuring on skyscrapers because the world was flooded?
And there were so occasionally bald suited men in tnt barrel turrets?
That was basically it besides the occasional helpless victims, supercharged balls, and money based cannon upgrades.
And teleporters.
Can't forget about the teleporters.
Opening up the document I am greeted by its introduction and begin my selection process.
Once again there is only one possible starting Location.
This time it is Level 1 of the Mobile Game instead of a Ski Lodge.
It of course was just a stray platform connected to some skyscrapers.
I could have selected my age and gender freely but decided not to since this time in the Ofeigin section it allowed me to be a Drop-In optionally along with one one of the three available Origins.
The first was Hero.
This one was based on the player character having Perks and Items directly tied to the games mechanics and gameplay which help a lot of goodies that I want.
Second was Baddie.
This one was based on the three robot enemies that existed in the game as well as the bald boss enemy which resembled Jeff Bezos.
It also would give a new robot Alt-Form.
And then third was Victim.
This represented the stationary panicking NPC's that would kill the player if they were killed by robot acting as an additional failure condition.
This happened moreso since they had Aggro and were the robots number 1 priority target.
It had a bunch of esoteric Perks and Items related towards those features which would be useful in the future.
It also had another feature.
Choosing it would grant me 200 more points to start out with.
Meaning I would have 1200 CP to use instead of just 1000 CP without Drawbacks!
This was practically free points for me since I wanted most purchases of both the Hero and Victim Perk Trees.
Yoink.
From the general Perks there was one free Perk that every Jumper who went here got called ‚Limited Stasis'.
It suspense the need for pretty much all bodily functions like food, water, sleep, oxygen and going to the toilet by putting the user into stasis, BUT and that but is important here, it only works if the user couldn't possibly move forward or backward in a sense where they are, basically being stuck in an impossible to survive environment where they can't escape from where one is only ejected from the state when something changes to be escapable or survivable.
Basically, almost useless except in very specific circumstances which are even less likely to happen since I am already working to mitigating that possibility by collecting a bunch of Perks and Items.
Still free.
From the Victim Perks the first one which turned free due to the discount is called ‚Help!'.
It makes me radiate an aura when I'm in trouble that attracts helpful people with heroic natures who want to help me.
I practically turn into the perfect damsel in distress with this.
Now first of all, I am very much for self reliance and personal power.
However, having free help and especially of people who actually want to help that's just too good to give up.
Especially in other settings where there are people like Superman and Goku around.
I am definitely willing to get princess carried out of danger for having a good natured powerhouse on my side.
And it only would have cost 100 points.
And this by the wording it only mentions trouble so as long as I'm genuinely distressed by something otherwise inconsequential I can get help for that too.
…which to be fair is kinda hard now since I haven't really strongly cared for anything for a few years by now…
Moving on.
The next Victim Perk is called ‚Agro' and it lets me gain an aura which like it name implies aggros nearby enemies to me like a Taunt skill that Tank Classes usually have in MMORPG's.
It can also overpower other Aggro auras like of Victim NPC's of this mobile game.
Only bad thing about it is that it's always on.
This doesn't matter to me because of the Power Toggle Perk that makes it so I can toggle any Perk on and off but its implications offer me some unconventional tactics that are possible when multiple entities with aggro auras are near.
The next Perk is ‚Reward'.
It allows me to narratively reward those who help me like those who do it from the first Perk of this Perk Tree.
This reward is personalized and comes from the world itself.
Very abstract but uniquely powerful.
I mostly take it for two reasons.
A. In the future I can make some combos to exploit its benefits for myself and
B. I genuinely like having those who help me get rewarded and even better when it practically costs me nothing er- only 200 points.
The last Perk of the Victims Origin is ‚Harm Dispersion' which gives me the ability to have any harm towards me instead transfer to positive or neutrally aligned entities in the same area.
I can also do the opposite to instead take their damage instead of them while also eventually learning to only spread some harm between multiple individuals instead of redirecting the whole thing.
This has some great potential for exploitation, especially if I can access magical summoning.
Going over to the Hero Origins Perk I take the first three of them as well.
‚Parkour' gives master parkour and freerunning skills which with my already enhanced physical stats make me all the more annoying to deal with and can get me to increase those areas further in short bursts after defeating enemies.
The next Perk ‚Overcharged' fills me with an energy when defeating foes that can be used to enhance attacks when sufficiently accumulated which are quite a lot more powerful than they would normally be.
In its description it also mentions to be capable of being used in more unique ways if I can figure out how.
With my smarts enhancing Perk and the training booster I should be capable of quickly developing something else for it soon too.
‚Crippling' comes next which increases the damage output of everything I dish out even while not not enhancing strength or skill.
If I were to hit vital areas of weaklings I can even permanently disable others or just paralyze them for quite long if they are stronger but not significantly more powerful than me.
Going to Item section I start picking up some more goodies.
As a Victim I get a platform on a tower for free which is flat and has no doors leading inside.
Kinda meh.
The next item of the Victim Origins would be piping that violontly shoots out water which can be summoned anywhere.
I decide not to purchase it since it doesn't seem that useful when I can gain water based powers pretty easily.
The last of the Victim Items is a ‚Grapple Gun'.
Functionally a grappling hook that can be summoned to one's hand with unlimited ammo that is fiat-backed to always carry me to were it lands.
Fiat-backing is the catch all term for having one's purchases in the Juno Docs be guaranteed to work exactly the same in future worlds even when the meta-physics should work differently.
That's how Perks work no matter what Alt-Form I use except when explicitly stated and how Items purchased in Jump Docs are guaranteed to reappear one day later close to me or in the Cosmic Warehouse when lost or destroyed.
This is a pretty good addition to my loveseat since I don't need to take it with me on person like the normal weapons and Items from SUPERHOT.
Only the two one use per fight miscalleanous objects, the abilityless katana and the throwing stars can be reliably summoned to my sides without me having take them with me on person.
This could be solved once I obtain a pocket space to carry stuff with me at all times which is something I want to gain soon but it's not that important on my to get list since the Warehouse works good enough for storage even if it can't allow me to swiftly pull in or out items that I need during battles.
The grapple gun works fine alone as a movement enhancement but it also works really well in combination with the SUPERHOT weapon arsenal.
What I'm really excited about though comes from the Hero Items.
The first being ‚Canon' the titular weapon the gameplay is based around.
It's a colourful hand cannon that shoots out balls of raw kinetic energy of which it has an unlimited supply of.
The kicker is that it can gain upgrades and new functions based on the amount of money invested in it.
Thus it could theoretically become strong enough to damage pretty much anything.
It's strength can even be augmented further with my physical strength thus making it scale even stronger based on my body power.
The only caveat being money which for me as a Jumper won't be that big of a problem after a few Jumps anyways since enough Items exist that just straight up give ridiculous amounts of money.
Not that having ridiculously strong superpowers or matter creation powers would make being rich even more pointless.
Like who needs to be rich when you can fulfill all your needs for free?
This just means I can spend all the more massive amounts of cash I will gain in the future to directly increase my overall combat prowess.
This matter also concerns the next Hero Item ‚Loot' which takes the form of a pin that gives me money based on me performing actions such as defeating foes, helping people and making meaningful progress in a journey.
I may be unreliable on money as a Jumper but getting money is still good while planning to still love normal lives here or there since I still want to buy goods and services.
I would most likely do these required actions through my Chain anyway even without this Item but gaining rewards from them is still nice.
Having most of it reinvested into ‚Cannon' though is still going to be my main point for purchase since I don't have any other options for getting more money currently.
Going to the Drawbacks I recheck my point balance.
I only require 600 points worth of Drawbacks to be back on 0.
I immediately pick up ‚Random Courses' for +200 which makes the levels layouts be completely random.
Enemies, obstacles and more would be randomized.
Not too bad since it wouldn't change much in the grand scheme of things.
Even while I technically had meta-knowledge of how the levels were built up since I played the mobile game it was all just bland preset maps that repeated on and on.
This makes me also take ‚Smarter Bots/Heroes' for another +400 points.
Depending on my enemies, the bots become smarter to actually use basic tactics and move away from their starting spots while also letting them fly while the other makes in-Jump heroes take advantage of the robots programming more if I were of the Baddie Origin.
Since the robots would be my enemies they would be more trouble but flying doesn't really change the fact that I can shoot them down just as easily.
Now this would be enough for me now another Drawback caught my eye.
‚Alternate Win Condition' gives 600 points for and changes the condition for me to leave this Jump.
Hero- and Victim Origin Jumpers must complete 100 levels while Baddie Origin Jumpers must kill 100 heroes and or victims who possess some Perks and Items of their respective Origins.
I could also take both alternative win conditions for an extra +200…
I take the full 800 worth of this Perk and go looking through the Perks and Item section again.
The alternative win conditions would shrinken my required stay in this world to be shorter which would mean I could go to my next Jump faster while also giving me a lot more purchasing power for more stuff.
I didn't really fancy most of the remaining options from the Baddie Origin but there is still some Gems among them which I don't plan to pass up now that I have the required points and everything else I wanted already bought.
The big one is the 600 Perk ‚Mastermind'
It grants thee different benefits.
One being to grant a bald human alt-form which would have worked better if I chose the Baddie Origin since I would have also gained a Robot Alt-Form but alas it is not that good.
The second being to expand energy to directly create robots and a cannon that launches explosive barrels.
The giant cannon would be like the one used in the boss fights during the mobile game.
It was stationary, its firing speed was slow as hell and firing one's bouncy balls at the barrels while they were still close enough it would blow up in the bald man's face.
A very questionable design that one.
The minion summoning however was were it was at.
Specifically because through ‚Harm Dispersion' because I could take them take all of the damage I would have received, sing me in a pinch.
Even if they were slow and easily fell down clunckely.
The meatshield were still good shields.
The last aspect of the Perk was the biggest benefit it offered though.
In simple terms it would make me survive things I really shouldn't.
That's just a good insurance to have no matter what one would do.
From the Items with my last bit of points I also got ‚Explosive Armaments' for 200.
It allowed me to freely summon explosive barrels to use however I could.
As a bonus I was also immune to their explosions.
Hehehehe.
That was a very exploitable Item to use.
I already have enough devious tactics cooking up with this Item alone.
Now, since I don't have anything else to do I confirmed my choices and was ready to go through the objectives of the Drawbacks.
