Chapter 172 - 172

"Are you guys going to rebel too?!"

Looking at the other three Heavenly Kings, Gulan's anger reached its peak.

These guys were the ones he chose, but now they all wanted to rebel against him.

Resist the Speaker.

Betrayal—this was pure betrayal.

"Okay, stop talking nonsense and step down immediately. The Council must undergo a complete overhaul, and all the old garbage must be cleared out. Only then can the Magic Council be reborn."

Caesar opened his mouth, then used a little force to handcuff his own hands. The handcuffs used to seal magic power broke instantly.

"You..."

When Gulan saw this, his eyes almost popped out.

But before he could react, Caesar gave him a friendly punch that sent him flying more than ten meters. Gulan, who was already old, completely fainted. He would probably sleep for three days.

Caesar was considerate of the old man. Knowing he had trouble sleeping, he decided to give him a three-day rest buff.

"Be bold!"

"Caesar! You don't want to live anymore!"

"How dare you attack the Speaker!"

"You're asking for death!"

Seeing Caesar suddenly take action, many council members started shouting, but while cursing, they all backed away quickly.

"Now that you're here, don't leave. Have a good sleep. We'll handle this soon."

Caesar blew air into his fist.

The council members turned around and ran.

But no matter how fast they were, could they be faster than Caesar?

Each old man was knocked out with a single punch, and soon a group of people lay scattered with Gulan.

"You always come up with something new for me."

Mavis, standing next to Volod, sighed, then looked at Caesar. "So, what's next?"

"The next step is easy."

Caesar smiled.

The next step was indeed simple.

With the help of the four Heavenly Kings led by Caesar, the Council of Representatives was cleaned from top to bottom.

Without the so-called Speakers blocking them, things moved fast.

In less than two hours, the entire Council was reorganized. Makarov and others were released, and with Makarov still confused, he was suddenly made the new Speaker of the Magic Council.

Soon after, the other three Heavenly Kings joined the Council. The four of them formed the top leadership, each with equal rights.

When decisions needed to be made, they used a voting system. Each of the three had one vote, while Makarov, as Speaker, had two votes.

That way, even if Makarov tried to go his own way, the three others could still outvote him.

Of course, when it came to Fairy Tail, Makarov would have the advantage—since Volod was also a Fairy Tail veteran, his heart leaned toward the guild.

Not to mention, he met Mavis, and the two old friends from the same era shared a pleasant conversation, reminiscing about old times.

Now that Makarov had become Speaker, he could finally step down as Guild Master.

And Caesar, the fourth-generation Master, took up the mantle.

But unlike Makarov's rough years, Caesar's leadership was much easier.

He had support from above, so he didn't need to attend endless meetings.

He just stayed in Fairy Tail and managed things from there.

If he had free time, he could go out for a walk.

Life was good.

...

The punishment against Fairy Tail was canceled. The guild returned to normal, its members were released, and the Council resumed regular operations.

Before everyone could even process the news, another bombshell dropped.

The Council was completely reorganized. The former Speaker, Gulan, had abused his power and was dismissed along with all the old members. They were permanently banned from reemployment.

Makarov Dorea, former Master of Fairy Tail, became the new leader, along with three of the Four Heavenly Kings of Ishgar sharing power.

All the corrupt officials in the departments were expelled, improving the Council's fairness and efficiency.

The chaos finally ended, and Caesar led everyone back to Magnolia.

Back home—to Fairy Tail.

"Go home!"

"Finally home!"

"I thought we'd never make it back!"

"So many people are missing..."

"It's a pity the old man stayed behind at the Council..."

Everyone felt a wave of relief upon returning.

After the S-Class exam, the battle with the black dragon, and imprisonment, everyone was exhausted.

Only in the guild could they finally rest.

"Cough, cough."

Caesar stood on the table and cleared his throat.

Everyone turned to him.

After all, he was the de facto fourth-generation Master—the guild's leader.

"Everyone has worked hard," Caesar said. "And I want to say—to those who endured Fairy Tail's hardest days and never gave up—you're all amazing!"

Those words made everyone straighten their backs proudly.

This was Fairy Tail.

"As everyone knows, I am now the fourth-generation Master," Caesar laughed. "Of course, I won't let you down. As the year ends, the new one begins, and we'll work harder to make Fairy Tail the number one guild in Ishgar!"

Everyone cheered in agreement.

"I've said enough speeches," Caesar grinned. "Everyone's tired, so as your Master, I should show some appreciation!"

Everyone's eyes lit up—they knew Caesar was far richer than Makarov.

The time to enjoy the rich man's generosity had come.

"Nine days and ten nights on Christopher Island—all expenses covered! Eat, drink, and have fun!"

Caesar waved his hand. "Take a day off, we leave tomorrow!"

"Ohhhh!!!"

The entire guild erupted in excitement.

The roar was so loud it caught all of Magnolia's attention.

Caesar wasn't stingy. He even contacted allied guilds and invited them to join.

After all, they had helped him before—this was his way of repaying them.

So what started as a Fairy Tail trip turned into a multi-guild celebration.

The Blue Pegasus provided Christina for transportation.

But when Caesar counted the number of people, one ship wasn't enough.

Then Ichiya generously offered not one, but two ships—one from Blue Pegasus, and another he bought himself.

Caesar suddenly remembered—Ichiya was also a rich man, and buying a magic-powered ship was nothing for him.
