The Silence in the hotel reception hall was heavy, if a pin fell down you could probably hear the sound.
Ethan slowly stood up as he walked slowly yet quietly towards the elevator, until he stopped a step away from the elevator doors, its cold murky damp appearance before him, he moved closer but did not enter instead bent down slowly then extended two fingers, dragging his fingers across the surface, of the drawing a straight line against the elevators cold wet floor.
Then brought his fingers to his face then rubbed his fingers against each other, he felt a slightly damp feeling on his fingers, then stoped as he contemplated some things, before he stood up and walked towards the group saying
"There's a problem"
A team member asked in concern "what"
"The elevators too wet" Ethan said he's brow furrowed
"So?" The team member asked
"Based on what I gathered in the elevator, and based on the type of elevators used in this building, there all leak less types, meaning apart from air, nothing can seep in or out of the elevator, and yet, from my gathering the elevator was just filled with water and if I am right...."
Ethan was about to continue when the team member finishes his sentence for him
"Where did all the water go?" The team member who was yellow in skin color, Agnes and Ethan expression's instantly became grave the atmosphere turned heavy in an instant, frowns gracing there face's.
Suddenly a voice appeared in the room, it was a voice of a young girl, sweet and soft
"He...lp help...hel"
Ethan, Agnes and the yellow skin team member instantly became tense, their eyes darting as the searched around the room from the voice came from, the voice came again
"Help..hel..p...help...he..l...hel...help..h"
Agnes heart clenched as he heart dropped to her stomach, as she taught of what she had witnessed in the hotel's kitchen, she glanced hesitantly at Ethan, as she opened her mouth, Ethan immediately caught her expression knowing she wanted to answer the voice, he used his hands to swnd signals to Agnes telling her to stop, Agnes hesitated but inexplicablely her mind wandered to the kitchen scene again.
She clenched her teeth, as she drew a small breath and answered
"Yes...little girl where are you, and where are the residents of the hotel, can you tell us, so we'll help you"
Ethans and the Yellow skin team member expression fell, as they glanced at each other, Ethan eyes seemed to convey an information
-"Woman are nothing but trouble, when we finish this mission, she's leaving this team😒-
The voice appeared again
"Oh..."
Then there was a deep silence a pause, before the girls voice came again
"I....I...I...am on the 4th floor below, my parents druged me and the nice people in the hotel, they arw on the 3rd floor, while am on the 4th floor, hurry...hurry...my parents, there coming..coming...the ritual is about to start...hurry please....I..I ...I don't want to DIE"
By the end the girls voice was cracked and pitiful.
