Chapter 709 - KWM Chapter 705 End and Beginning

Reinette Tinekerr, holding four blonde, red-eyed heads, observed Kotar's corpse for a moment before looking at Klein. Her four heads spoke in succession:

"I want..." "His..." "Worms of Spirit..." "Half."

"And..." "Four..." "Of your..." "Charms."

"No problem." Klein readily agreed, then looked at Leyton.

Leyton smiled, nodding indifferently, "Perfect, I really need those low-to-mid Sequence characteristics."

He paused, then looked at Klein and Reinette Tinekerr, saying with a smile, "Gentlemen, if you have any need for these Worms of Spirit, you can also exchange them with me for low-to-mid Sequence characteristics."

"Already..." "Enough."

The two heads held in Reinette Tinekerr's right hand spoke, one after the other.

Klein also shook his head. He had no need for Worms of Spirit; he could simply pull one off himself whenever needed.

While the three conversed, the invisible servants summoned by Leyton had already collected all valuable items from the surroundings.

Placing half of the Worms of Spirit in front of Reinette Tinekerr, the invisible servants, carrying the remaining items, walked behind Leyton and silently vanished into the darkness.

Klein watched this scene with considerable surprise, curious about where Leyton had summoned these invisible servants from, and how they had left with the spoils of war.

The Forsaken Land of the Gods and the Spirit World are not connected, so how was this achieved? Did he use the Astral World or the Concealed World?

As he pondered, Klein had already stepped forward to the translucent black velvet curtain shrouded in starlight.

To his surprise, the curtain showed no resistance or danger towards him; it simply lay quietly in his hand.

It's as if it was waiting for me... As thoughts floated through his mind, Klein had already retreated to Leyton's side.

An iron cigarette case spontaneously fell into his hand, containing a Loen gold coin. Reinette Tinekerr's figure flashed across the coin.

Klein nodded to Miss Messenger within the gold coin, then looked at Leyton and said, "Let's leave. If we stay any longer, Amon might arrive."

Leyton nodded noncommittally. Layers of starlight rippled out from him, dissolving all the corpses on the ground, causing them to collapse and dissipate.

Having done this, he placed a hand on Klein's shoulder, helping him transform into a torrent of information, and swiftly moved away from the area.

Dozens of miles away in the darkness, in a concealed place, transparent worms emerged from the historical void, outlining the figure of Dark Demonic Wolf Kotar in the surroundings, growing clearer and more real.

He abandoned his original corpse, changing his original resurrection location through a wish, avoiding the possibility of being ambushed at the body.

As for the loss of the "curtain," while somewhat regrettable, his own life was more important in comparison. As long as he was alive, there was still a chance.

He could see the favor of "Darkness" on Klein, and the methods Leyton had just displayed, which surpassed the abilities of a normal Sequence 1 Knowledge Emperor. Both gave him a strong sense of crisis, prompting him to follow the dictates of his heart.

After fully resurrecting and familiarizing himself with his new body, Kotar swiftly moved his eight long legs, leaving the original spot.

With a flash of light, his figure vanished into the depths of the darkness.

Near the abandoned castle, after an unknown period, the surrounding air fluctuated, and tiny, invisible organisms crawled out.

The surroundings suddenly distorted, as if an Error had occurred, and Amon, dressed in a black classical robe and wearing a matching pointed soft hat, appeared there.

He reached out and pressed the monocle over his right eye, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips.

"They left quite quickly. I thought that cowardly Demonic Wolf would last a bit longer. It seems he found help from outside."

"Concealing traces in front of one of the most excellent Cryptologists is rather clumsy."

As he muttered to himself, a colossal, ancient, mottled grandfather clock phantom emerged above Amon's head.

The longest hand on the grandfather clock spun rapidly counter-clockwise for two turns. Instantly, an indescribable invisible torrent surged around them, and countless light and shadow began to float, like a rewound video, revealing the scenes that had occurred there.

Above the Gray Fog, within the ancient and magnificent palace, Klein sat quietly on the high-backed chair at the very top.

He had completed the sacrifice, sending the "curtain" above the Gray Fog, and at the same time, relying on the Historical Projection summoned by "Magician" Fors, he had sent Miss Messenger out of the Forsaken Land of the Gods.

Looking at the black velvet curtain lying quietly on the mottled table, Klein let out a soft breath and said, "The matter is finally concluded. Next is the preparation to help the City of Silver explore and open the Giant King's Court. This will inevitably be targeted by Amon; he knows very well what I want to do."

"If I could create enough charms with 'Mirror Traveling' ability, I could actually use this method to take the people of the City of Silver and Moon City out of the Forsaken Land of the Gods. Unfortunately, this is somewhat unrealistic, and Sealed Artifacts wouldn't be able to be taken away."

After a moment of silence, he extended his spirituality, touching the illusory stars representing Leyton and Azik, pulling them above the Gray Fog.

He looked at Leyton and Azik, who were silently gazing at him, and chuckled, asking, "Any suggestions regarding the exploration and opening of the Giant King's Court?"

Azik shook his head, his tone serious:

"I advise you to give up. Amon will definitely be waiting for you there, perhaps when you arrive at the Giant King's Court, or perhaps after you complete the exploration and open the Giant King's Court."

"Facing the true body of a King of Angels, you have no chance of winning. Even if I rush over now, I am powerless to contend with a King of Angels."

Klein fell silent for a moment, then sighed. Although giving up on helping the City of Silver was the most rational decision, after understanding the little Sun, and the plight of the City of Silver and Moon City, he found it very difficult to make such a decision.

In silence, he turned his gaze to Leyton, hoping to hear different advice from him.

Leyton shrugged, his tone calm:

"The War of the Gods is about to begin. Under various pushes, it will bring this war to an end."

"As a conclusion, it will inevitably be accompanied by the fall of deities standing at the top of the pyramid, perhaps one, perhaps two, or perhaps more."

Leyton paused, then added with a smile, "I have a bad news and a good news. Which one do you want to hear first?"

Klein followed Leyton's words:

"The bad news is that neither you nor Mr. Azik can spare the effort to help me, not even historical projections, nor can your consciousness come over."

Leyton nodded, adding, "The good news is that True Creator and his Angels also cannot interfere here."

Klein smiled wryly and nodded:

"So, the only one I'll encounter in the Forsaken Land of the Gods is Amon?"

"Heh, I've actually started using 'only' to describe Amon. I'm really getting overconfident."

He paused, then added, "Without external help, it will be very difficult for me to contend with Amon."

Leyton nodded, his tone calm, and said, "So you need to make some preparations in advance, seek some help, and appear to be contending with Amon for the first blasphemy slate."

In a three-story house in Backlund West Borough, Fors suddenly stood up from her chair and walked to the window, gazing deeply at the desolate street outside.

"What are you going to do?" At the fireplace, Xio, who was packing her luggage, looked at her friend with some curiosity.

"Be a qualified tool person." Fors replied with a hint of resentment.

As she spoke, a phantom, slowly turning book appeared in her eyes.

Soon, a Beyonder ability she had recorded in advance was activated.

She then reached out and tugged at the void in front of her. A heavy sensation came from her hand, as if encountering an obstacle. The projection that should have been pulled directly from the historical void became very heavy, difficult for her to drag.

Just as Fors was about to give up and try again, the heavy sensation in her hand suddenly vanished, and a familiar figure was easily pulled out from the historical void by her.

Leyton glanced around the room, seeing the neatly packed luggage piled on the living room floor, and chuckled:

"Good morning, ladies. The war should be ending soon. You don't need to be in such a hurry to pack."

Fors sat directly in a comfortable armchair and said tiredly, "Whatever you need to do, just do it quickly. My spirituality can't last much longer. Maintaining your Historical Projection is much harder than 'Mr. World's'."

Leyton said no more. His body instantly disintegrated into pure and complex streams of information, surging away.

Xio looked at the spot where Leyton had vanished, then turned her head to glance at Fors, who was already lying down, and asked curiously, "Why have you been summoning historical projections so often lately?"

"I don't know. I'm just a tool person being called around."

"If I had so many high-level Beyonder abilities to record and use when I was a Scribe, my potion would have digested incredibly fast. Unfortunately, I am already a Traveler now, and the outbreak of war makes it impossible for me to find a suitable place to travel."

"No, I need to start meditating. My spirituality is depleting too quickly. At this rate, I won't even last three minutes."

After a few complaints, Fors closed her eyes and began to meditate, using it to alleviate the consumption of her spirituality.

On the street, the once bustling and vibrant city, vibrant with yellow, blue, and off-white colors, had turned gray, black, and crimson, withered, chaotic, and somewhat desolate.

The sound of artillery fire continuously overlapped, not far away, at the edge of the city, and even some appearing within the city.
