Helen got up and moved to the couch where he was sitting.
She gently stroked his arm before moving to his neck and face. She didn't say anything, silently admiring his features.
"Do you want to talk about what happened with Hatoru?" Yohan finally asked, feeling like it was coming anyway.
"Why would I?" The words rolled off her tongue without a hint of emotion.
"Seriously? I thought you were against what I did."
"I was," she replied with a heavy sigh, "but the truth is, you did the right thing. I would have done it too if I wasn't so cowardly."
"All the things he did, all the lives he ruined... I should have shot him the moment I had the chance, but instead I hesitated and almost got that woman killed."
"It's not your fault." Yohan placed a hand on her shoulder, caressing it softly.
