"We will see another part of this pack tomorrow," he said, while closing his eyes. Meera nodded and this made him opened his eyes, frowned at her. "Can you answer me?"
"I understand," Meera said in tight voice, she gritted her teeth, but she didn't dare to look at him straight in the eyes, thus she chose to lower her head and looked at her crumpled dress.
Aside from the art gallery and the restaurant, they didn't come out of the car anymore. They just sat inside the car and drove through places in this pack.
"Good." Dalton closed his eyes again.
And with that the rest of their way back filled with silence. The young shifter, who became their designated driver also didn't say anything, he acted as if he was not there.
Meera couldn't blame him, if she were him, she would want nothing to do with the two of them.
Only when they arrived at the pack house that Dalton opened his eyes and pulled her out of the car by her wrist again.
