sitting in my favourite restaurant close to Tidal tech, my perfect afternoon was ruined by the buzzing of my phone, looking down it was tony, I chuckled at the thought of him crying to me about to much work, picking it up i placed it in my ear "hello Tony, how can i help you" I say, "my mistress, how are you doing this fine afternoon" Tony's happy voice rang from the otherside making me cringe, can this guy ever be serious for once
"cut to the chase Tony, you're interrupting my meal" i said, not caring if i sound rude "you're such a kill joy, you know that right?" I rolled my eyes, what did he expect I came back for revenge did he think I was going to bring joy with me "if you're saying that to hurt my feelings, you brutally failed" I reply, "if thats all you called me for, then good..."
"wait" Tony interrupted "meanie, a company has requested for a meeting with you" he continued finally stating his business, "then meet with them, why do you need my permission for that when i made you the managing director" I said, about to cut the call "they spcifically asked for you" he said, still wasn't going to change my mind "like i said, meet with them if they dont want to see you, then don't see them" was I supposed to make myself clear, my only sole concern was making my family pay outside that I'm not really bothered about anything
"but its the owner of Tidal tech that wants to meet you" Tony said, and that piqued my interest, placing the call back to my ear "you said the owner of Tidal tech wants to meet me" i said, my lips curled up in an evil smile, I was thinking about my next line of action this was a good opportunity, "yes" Tony answered, "good, if they won't see you my managing director they shouldnt bother " i answered, with the smile still on my lips, "no problem" Tony answered, not questioning why I rejected seeing them, he never questioned any of my decisions which was why I trusted him the most.
I was going to play a simple game of cat and mouse but I'm going to make them think I'm the mouse, I picked up the glass of wine placed on the table and took a sip.
Javier was a member of an elite golf club, a place for rich people and stuff, I always thought golf was boring, didn't know why he fancied it but now I think I'm beginning to understand.
