TRAVERSE A PSYCHO'S MENTAL WORLD Location the Horror Dungeon Area 5

These enemies quite easy to eliminate, but Kiba's speed and sword skills. Issei's power and strikes. Ranma's skill and martial arts. As well as Ren's grace and accuracy, and Laharl's power and force. When they'd started seeing more old, withered wooden structured, and stone paved areas. Filled with more haunted, since Ruvik's mind is focused on his past. It made sense, how a modern city, would have such a dilapidated village soo near. At that moment, some haunted with hatchets. In old, torn, bloodstained clothing. Along the haunted, with a larger creature with the pair of haunted. A meshed together monster. With a larger statute. A normal human body and a ragged, animalistic creature. The host body's prior clothing are not much more than a pair of ripped pants and a torn shirt. As a merged creature is raw skinned, bloody and horrific. With a large maw, filled with sharp teeth, and a clawed, disfigured arm. This is a AlterEgo. AlterEgos are the result of connecting individuals with dissociative identity disorder to STEM. Roaring at the young devils, stomping forward with the two haunted. Gyutaro rush in, vertically slashing the head of a haunted in half. While Kiba beheaded the other haunted. As Ranma, he attacked the AlterEgo. Delivering several punches, a knee strike on the belly, and throw a powerful shoryuken. Crushing the heads of the AlterEgo, killing the monster. The three bodies, dissolving away in blood pools. Letting some red, green, and purple exp-drops. Seems that the alter-egos give red and purple exp-drops. After collected the exp-drops, they went in further. Reaching the rundown, and withered village. That looked like something straight out of a fantasy setting, numerous amount of haunted, along with alter-egos, wandering around the area. Gyutaro, and Ranma looked excited to fight, Kiba took a long breathe and composed himself for battle. While Ren was his usual cool, aloof self. Issei he threw a couple of jabs, into the air, beaming with eagerness. Seems his dragon blood was burning. Without the usual over ecchiness of DXD, his draconian aura was focused more on fighting, strength, and luckily not gold. Ddraig did said, that Issei's Harem King wish, might be a byproduct of Issei's draconian Sacred Gear. Along with his sin, being aligned with Lust. Vritra, Shenron, Orochi, and Bahamut Fury. Having knowledge of the upcoming fate, are the new rival. Silently wishing the...Oppai Dragon luck. Suddenly Ddraig watching through the Boosted Gear, was smirking in eagerness for upcoming battles. When he'd sneezed. He'd actually sneezed, and he didn't why. Cause it should be impossible, but after scratching his nose, he'd ignored it. With them all eager, they went down into the village. It didn't take long for haunted to see them. Tortured zombies of men and women, with various weapons. Ranging from hatchets, woodaxes, machetes, and more, they walked over at their targets. Kiba, easily blocked and slashed apart the creatures in his way. With Ren right behind Kiba. Slicing stragglers, and shooting those that Kiba hasn't cut. Issei crushed a barwired haunted, with a brutal upward high-kick, and stomp combo. Then a AlterEgo, emerged from a small alley corner, in the area that the guys were fighting. Issei, saw the merged monster, and he went straight at it. Throwing vicious punches, followed by a boost to bust the monster's heads open. Using a brutal straight punch. Ranma was quickly dispatching the enemies in his way. As a new enemy appeared, amongst the growing horde of haunted. A fat beared man, covered in wounds. Holding a shovel. This is a Bloated. A varient of the haunted. These creatures appear swollen or engorged, while being physically larger than common haunted. The bloated roared at Ranma, swinging his shovel at the young Saotome heir. Ranma smirked. As he did a trademark move, disarming his open with a kick. Then he fired a touki powered, ki-blast. Making the bloated back step. As Ranma rushed in, throwing a barrage of blows, until the bloated went down. But that was just the start, as more haunted, alter-egos, and now bloated came to swarm the guys. Laharl, Gyutaro, Ren, Issei, Ranma and Kiba, huddled close to each other and rushed against the swarm.
A SMALL BREAK After Gyutaro and the others, fought their way through the village. Taking out, every haunted, bloated, and alter-egos, that stood in their way. The red, purple, and green exp-drops, practically all over the village. As the bloated, solely gave purple exp. Eventually after through the village, they reached the more castle like edge of the village. Very close to the entrace to said castle. Laharl, remembered this was near the Sentinel boss area. But with this being the fifth area of the Horror Dungeon. He highly doubts, that they'll face such a weak Boss, in comparison with all the Bosses that they'd already faced. They walked to the stone courtyard, and garden of the castle. When more haunted, bloated, and alter-egos emerged from everywhere. Along with a brand new, grotesque enemy. Laharl, recognized them immediately, as Cadavers. Haunted that have been twisted further, mostly formed from the dead in STEM. With their ribcages, bursting out like twisted maws, and even worked like bear-traps, bitting down on the victim. Their deformed form of exposed innards having bulging, bright reddish sacks. Which explode either through damage, or close proximity. Twisted bodies, that are walking in a reverse crab-walk. On hands and feet. Laharl groaned, and said out loud, "Great boomers, just what we needed." Before the guys, could ask him what he'd meant, Laharl demonstrated. Using his scarf, he stretched it out, snatching a random haunted. Wrapping his target by the head, then slamming said haunted onto a cadaver. Using a lot of force, behind the slam. Which was quickly followed, by a strong, and gorery explosion. That took out, some haunted near the blastzone. When guys saw this, and the number of red, green, and yellow exp-drops, floating in the aftermath. They'd gave a "Ohhh". Now understanding what Laharl meant by "boomers", everyone rised their guard, and got ready for a fight. Laharl, retracted his scarf, and was the first to move, against this new horde of enemies. Stabbing and then smashing a AlterEgo with his Vritra Zanbato Fury. Following it up, by using the barely alive merge monster, as a projectile. Tossing it at another cadaver. Resulting in another explosion, taking out another threat. Gyutaro, was hacking and slashing apart all the haunted and bloated in his sight. With Kiba joining him. Both careful, not to get blind sided by a cadaver. Issei, stayed close to Laharl. Watching each other's backs, the Red Emperor, beating down haunted and alter-egos that came at him. When he spotted a cadaver, crawling towards them, he'd fired a Firebolt. Igniting and detonating those monsters. Sometimes taking down, some close by enemies, with the explosions. Ranma, was staying behind. Watching over Ren, that provided back up for everyone. Firing away with his sickle-smgs.
Together they'd avoided any of them, from being caught in a explosion. After a bit, they killed all the enemies. A huge hull of red, purple, green, and yellow exp-drops, floated around them. The guys, except Laharl leveled-up again. Their leveling up, has slowed down. Not surprising, their either in indigo or cyan level in stats. Gyutaro and Ranma looked at their respected fist. Squeezing them, feeling stronger than ever. This dungeon dive, has done them all good. Regardless they knew that there's a higher to go. Laharl mentioned that above high class, one enters Ultimate. The two battle maniacs, for different reasons. Looked at each other, and fist bumped. Seems that Gyutaro was quickly warming up to Ranma. He was neutral with Kiba, and Ren. While Issei is still on the side of annoyance, but Laharl. Gyutaro respected, and openly call him brother. Both out of respect, and because he is Gyutaro brother. Along with his partner Joseph Oda, officer Oscar Connelly, and Junior Detective Juli Kidman. Going to Beacon Mental Hospital, investigating the scene of a mass murder. Which let them being trapped, in a mental generated world, from a device STEM. Created by a sick, and traumatized man, Ruvik. Who became a complete psychopath, and to protect his work, and world made STEM to only function with his mind. The usual secret organization, they wanted Ruvik's technology. They crossed him, then were stuck. And put the protag, and the cast in STEM. Which Laharl made a hand gesture to the surrounding scenery, explaining that this fucked up world, in Ruvik's mind. It both paradise and a prison. His views twisted and shaping it. Ranma shivered, as he commented that this Ruvik, must be pretty messed up. Laharl gave a brief backstory of the original antagonist of Evil Within. Losing his sister in a fire, done by farmers seeking revenge on his family. Him getting burned badly as a result. His parent locking him away, underneath the castle. Then the usual psycho gets revenge, and a fortune. Designed STEM originally to be a sanctuary for himself...and then the secret organization backstab. Issei then in exasperated sounding tone, asked, "Is there any world, that doesn't have a shadow group in the government, that wants to rule the world?" Laharl, "hmm" and thought of Issei's question. And he came up, with nothing. It's the biggest troupe, used in many different genres. Heck DXD has it. Only instead of humans, it devils, angels, and pantheons doing that crap.
Issei sighed. As it was a stupid question. Heck some of the animes, that Laharl-senpai showed him, it's the main plot points of series. Toaru Majutsu no Index, and even that hot anime, Sekirei did it with the dumb ass Sekirei Plan...then Issei had a realization!! Turning to Laharl, he rushed over. Grabbing onto the edge of Laharl's red jacket. Shaking Laharl, as he'd asked him, "Laharl-senpai!! You have a dimension, jumping thing, right!!?" Laharl, he grabbed onto Issei's wrists. Making him stop shaking him, and responding with a "Yes. So?" Issei beamed, woahing, jumping around, and cheering. Gyutaro looked at Issei, and he had to asked, "What are you doing idiot?" Issei continued cheering. Ren looked worried. Ranma turn to Laharl, and whispered, "What wrong with him?" Kiba, shuke his head, and he'd asked, "Issei...could you please tell us, what's got you, in such a good mood?" After Issei, finally calmed down. Opening his arms wide, exclaiming, "Don't you guys get it!!?" They look at him, with faces "no you idiot, stop stalling" He said that Laharl has his Dimensional Gate, capable of going into other worlds. Meaning that they can go to the Sekirei-verse. Each able to get their own sekirei, his Harem King wish, might finally be achieved. Laharl, looked at Issei like "Shit what didn't I think of that" being a fan of harem animes. Of course he watched the anime, and read the manga. Minato was one of the biggest bitches ever, having several good women. And he was a big coward, that never touched his wives, until the end...which gives a vague "they lived happily ever after" he honestly loved, and hated that series. Soo many good waifus, all trapped in literal bad relationships. Then Laharl had a realization, turning to the clueless Gyutaro, he thought of a Sekirei that can be perfect for him, Haihane the Blue Sekirei. Once they finish the Horror Dungeon, and Gyutaro get his promotion, along with his set of Evil Piece. One of the worlds, that they must go to get Gyutaro some pieces Sekirei is a definite. Plus he should, show Gyutaro several anime and games, so he can see which women draw his attention. And also which will perfectly accept him. Laharl, calmed down Issei and promised him that he'll take him, Gyutaro, Kiba, and Ranma to the Sekirei-verse. Making him excited, then Ren asked, "Umm Laharl-senpai, did you forget me?" Turning to Ren, he'd explained vaguely what sekirei are, and their open hunt for their soul mate. Then he'd asked in a flat tone, "What would happen, if you go to such a world with Nora?" Ren, Ranma, Kiba, and Issei shuttered. Then Ren said with serious appreciation, "Thanks for looking out." Laharl laughed, and said "no problem", afterall Ren is a bro. With their break finished, and part of their future multiversal trip, decided. The six devils, they went on ahead in the dungeon.
