EVIL WITHIN SECOND HALF Location the Horror Dungeon Area 5
After fighting through the courtyard, the six devils have reached the medieval castle. Laharl remembered that this is Ruvik's home, lab, and dumpsite. As he has killed, and tortured countless people in this place. Both in life...and he thought for a second. Was Ruvik fully dead? The game hinted that Ruvik's mind is still alive, despite being murdered. So technically he'd never stopped killing, just changed the location from the conscience world to a mental one. Shrugging, as he and the guys, finally entered the castle. As Laharl still wonders, which of the Bosses of Evil Within is gonna be the one they'll fight. Regardless, upon entering the castle. It is dark, and twisted. Touches, chains hanging from the walls, and ceiling. Clear damage and old blood smeers, and stains allover the place. Soon enough, before they can proceed through the main entrance. Haunted armed with axes, blades, and more. Mixed appearance of the masked haunted, and the more mutilated varients, all swarming over to the six devils. Gyutaro smirk, placing his flesh sickles in front of Laharl and Ranma. A clear sign, that he wanted these monsters for himself. They guys smiled, and chuckled. Letting the newly reincarnated, sickle-devil have his fun. Stepping back slightly. The first masked haunted came in. With a axe, and nailed bat eager to kill Gyutaro. Who in a burst of speed and power, he slashed through the handles of the weapons. Then stab the masked, female haunted with his second kama. Bursting blood through the chin, and the top of the haunted, from the end of the kama. Pulling out his weapon, he kills the other haunted. In a flash, Gyutaro was slashing apart the swarm of haunted. From the dark came more haunted, and some bloated as well. Gyutaro showed no mercy, or restrain. Slashes, blood sickles, and even some kicking, Gyutaro eliminated all the enemies. As blood pools, were disintegrated the bodies, leaving behind a massive amount of red, green, and purple exp-drops. Ranma, Ren, and Issei cheer for Gyutaro, while Kiba cooly nodded in a approval, and Laharl went over and patted Gyutaro's shoulder. Telling the sickle-devil, he did a amazing job. Absorbing all the exp-drops, they finally started making their way, into the castle. Constantly attacked by haunted, bloated, with some encounters with alter-egos and cadavers. All taken out by the guys. Issei's own unique charm, and friendly attitude is finally breaking through, the less malignant Gyutaro. But he still thinks that Issei is a moron. As they proceed further in. A new enemy emerged, alongside with more haunted, bloated, and alter-egos. This new monster, it was faceless like a void under a white hood. Bloodstained clothes. With bandage wrapped arms, this is a Doppelganger. A late game monster, which uses no weapon. Laharl attacked the doppelganger, while the rest deal with the other monsters. The doppelganger, threw a claw swipe, only for Laharl slice off the doppelganger's arm. While in the Evil Within game, these are damage sponges, in real life... Laharl cleaved right through the new enemy, as the two halves of the doppelganger slipped onto the ground. The biggest threat eliminated, while Gyutaro, Ranma, and the others, have already finished all the bloated and haunted. As the doppelganger disintegrated away, leaving green, greenish-yellow, and orange exp-drops.
With that done. They smirked at one another, and collected the exp-drops. As they went further into, Ruvik's hunting grounds. Becoming more twisted, as they went deeper into the castle. Facing against more masked, and mutilated varients of alter-egos, bloated, and haunted. Along with cadavers, and a couple of doppelgangers facing them. All were easily taken out by the guys. They entered a pathway, filled with rusted chained hooks, and broken wooden beams. That reminded Laharl on one of the enemies of Evil Within. As he thought of said creature, the sounds of rattling and scrapping, echoed down the path. Kiba, stood a front of the group. As a monster came into view. A tall, naked humanoid creature with drooping, mutilated flesh where a face would normally be and pale, bluish skin. Barely standing if not by the massive wooden beam. Painfully, and gruesomely attached to the back. With the exception, being that the rack which is the left arm attached. It is broken, and dangling. Speaking of this thing's hands, there are none, just bloody mutilated stumps. Its clawed hooks, attached to the left arm, as twisted, morbid weapon. This is a Trauma. Blind juggernaut. That can cause a massive amount of damage, Issei was about to say something. Clearly disturbed at the sight, but Laharl clamp his hand, over his mouth. Shaking his head, at Issei. A clear sign for him, not to talk. Laharl, looked at Kiba, walking quietly up to Kiba's side. Raising his buster sword, next to his face, with Kiba following his action. Immediately understanding Laharl-senpai's plan, once the trauma was a bit closer. Laharl lower his line of sight, Kiba once again understood. They both perform Blade Rush, on the trauma. Aiming low. Cutting off the trauma's legs, completely immobilizing the monster. Letting the other guys, take advantage, pilling on the damage on the downed monster. Until the trauma is dead. As it disintegrated away, a considerable amount of red, purple, and orange exp-drops emerged from the fading remains. After taking the exp-drops, Laharl told the guys of the danger that trauma are. Blind but still capable of tracking. Hence why he shut Issei up, Issei waved it off. As he finally was able to say, "As for that thing, we've killed... That was the most twisted, and fucked up thing I've seen, still now." Even Gyutaro agreed, and he had to deal with Gyokko. Apart that they went on their way. Facing against more traumas, as they went deeper in this Evil Within themed, Horror Dungeon area. Killing these monsters, that should he in Silent Hill. The exp-drops, have managed to level up, Ranma and the others, with exception of Laharl. But regardless, they continue on...
TWISTED NIGHTMARE Location the Horror Dungeon Area 5; Boss Area: Furnace Room
After fighting through the depths of the castle, taking out bloated, alter-egos, cadavers, haunted, and a few traumas. The guys reached a pathway, completely different in scenery than the rest of the castle. Instead of stone, and medieval architecture. They saw...metal? To Laharl it was slightly familiar, but Gyutaro was getting bored. Walking on ahead, with the rest of the guys, right behind him. Gyutaro asked, Laharl, "what the Boss could be?" Laharl, he hummed lightly as he thought, obviously it wouldn't be Ruvik or the Amalgamation, those were too late tier bosses. The Heresy could be a possibility, but one memorable boss, was in the forefront of his mind. But with how the dungeons worked, anything is possible. Heck a Boss from the second game, could ambush them, for all he knew. Laharl answered honestly, that he wasn't completely sure. Gyutaro, shrugged. As he didn't really care, as long as the Boss was a worthy challenge. Then the group of six, arrived at a massive set of thick metal doors, with small grates at the top. Kiba, mention that there was intense heat, coming off from the doors. This is practically shouting who was waiting for them. Laharl, lightly tapped his Vritra Zanbato Fury on his shoulder. Walking towards the set of door. He cracked his neck, and with a powerful and brutal kick, he busted the doors open. Without a care, he and the guys went through the doors. Entering what seems to be a dark, slightly lite room. With small paths, metallic cages that seems to be dump-shoots for something. Then a lite, massive furnace, with two entrances and a glass panel to see into the furnace. A huge pipe off the side, and several bodies dumped everywhere the room. Laharl smirked. As he knew who their gonna fight, at that moment thrashing and smashing sound, echoed through the furnace room. Laharl told the guys to get ready. Which they did, all on guard and waiting. As the sounds became louder, as the Boss was coming. Bursting out some massive pipe, was the Boss of this area. Laharl immediately recognized, one of the more iconic enemies of Evil Within. So popular, that she appeared in both games. A pale, and greatly burned, long limbed woman with long, creepy, black hair. Resembling a four, long armed Grudge Kayako. Her burned long arms and hands, each have long, razor sharp clawed nails. Utterly twisted and creepy, this is Laura Victoriano aka the Creature. Ruvik's twisted version of his sister, Laura. And right now, she'd spread her four arms, and screamed at Laharl and the others. Before crawling away in the furnace room.
Laharl warned the guys, that Boss is able to teleport, and emerge from the corpses, scattered around the room. Plus he told them, that Laura is weak against fire and ice damage. Immediately Kiba used his Sword Birth to create his Flame Delete ice sword. A straight blade of sharp ice. Golden cross guard, with a long handle. Seems that Kiba was going to focus on dealing ice damage, Issei ignited his hands in magical fire. It was clear, that Issei is going to focus on dealing fire damage. As Laharl, Gyutaro, Ranma, and Ren will be support for the main damage dealers of this fight. Just as they were about to move. The Boss came at them, crawling towards them from the right path. Laharl and Ren move. Ren firing his StormFlower at Laura, while Laharl, he started firing Dark Bolts at the Boss as well. Laura, she shrieked. But kept on stalking forward. As a response, Ranma rushed passed Laharl, and Ren delivering a powerful flying kick. Striking the Boss, right in the face. Knocking Laura straight against the wall. She shrieked, and ran off in the shadow. Typical for a stalking type enemy, Laharl mentally said, "This is still better than Dead Space." Laharl then actually shivered at that though. Not because he was scared, but because of the Dead Space enemy AIs. All fucking sneak on you, when your not looking. That's what made those game, both awesome and annoying. But having to deal with that, plus risk of ending in the void of space...yeah, Laharl will never continue such a dungeon area. As he thought that, Issei following Laharl's previous warning. He started burning, the nearby corpses, so the Boss wouldn't attack them from behind. While Gyutaro, he started slashing the air, using his Blood Demon Art to send out, a barrage of blood sickles. All throughout the room. Hunting down the Boss. That's when Laura. She appeared again, this time coming in for a frontal assault. The Boss screamed, as she was about to attack Issei.
When Gyutaro's blood sickles, turned and hit Laura from various points of her blind spots. Letting Issei use his new technique. One that Ddraig taught him, and he has been saving for a good opportunity. Gathering a lot of demonic, and draconian energy through his body. Focusing those energies out of his Boosted Gear. Coming out the palm of his crimson gauntlet, a red energy blast. Enveloping Laura. As Issei hit the Boss, at nearly point-blank with his new technique, Dragon Shot. Laura screamed out in pain. As Issei's blast, blasted her across the furnace...and destroyed most of the room, along with the blast. Gyutaro, Ren, Kiba, and Ranma stared flabbergasted. Not expecting this, from Issei. Laharl was impressed, that Issei unlocked the Dragon Shot, before Dress Break. Plus this level of destruction, just made the Boss room, a whole lot bigger. And easier for them to fight against Laura. Issei he realized what he did...and only responded with a "oops". Not expecting this level of power. Laharl smacked Issei, giving the Red Dragon Emperor a thumbs-up. Then adressing the guys. Knocking them out of their shock, since they still have a Boss to kill. Ranma stood up, walking forward to find a huge hole. Made from Issei's Dragon Shot. But no Laura. That's when a corpse, off the side of Ranma. Started twitching, as the Boss was emerging from this corpse. Then before she could attack, Kiba blurred next to Boss. Slashing his ice sword, across Laura. Causing massive amount of damage, as frost spread across the burn skin of the Boss. Ranma follow it up. Rushing in, throwing a brutal spinning uppercut. A shoryuken. Then as the Boss, she was still airborne, he threw a powerful, frontal high-blade kick, his Joudan Sokutou Geri. Smashing the Boss against the wall, as Issei, Ren, Laharl and Gyutaro were rushing in to help. As this fight, was barely getting started.
