BURN AWAY Location the Horror Dungeon Area 5; Boss Area: Damaged Furnace Room
Gyutaro, Issei, Ren, and Laharl were now beside Ranma and Issei. With Laura, still riddling on the ground. She shrieked, aggressively at the young devils. But before she could attack or run. Kiba struck again. Delivering a barrage of ice slashes, with his demonic frost blade. Gyutaro and Ren joined in on the assault. Their sickles, and sickle-smgs, blurred with slashes and slices. Laura she screamed, out of pure reflex, she'd swiped one of her upper arms. Both devils took the blood. Without issues. One blocked by aura, while Gyutaro just instantly regenerate from the surprise claw swipe. Gyutaro in response, stabbed his poison laced sickles, right onto the upper shoulders of the Boss. With pure strength, he spun the Boss around. Throwing her through the hole of that Issei, just made. Laharl rushed after Laura. Slashing the Boss. Causing damage, while also draining away of Laura's strength. She tried to escape, Laharl's onslaught. But Ranma went back on the onslaught. Throwing punches, elbows, and kicks at the Boss. While Issei capitalize both Ranma and Laharl-senpai's assault on the Boss. As Issei ran straight at his target, he was preparing to blast a Fireblast at Laura. Using boost on his fire spell. Once close, with five-stacks of boosts, adding to his power. He yelled at Laharl, and Ranma-senpai to get away!! They reacted to Issei's call, and leaped away. As a huge fireball was hovering over Issei's hand. Instead of shooting it, Issei, he smashed his Fireblast onto the Boss. Engulfing on the Boss. Fully igniting her in magical fire, and causing huge amounts of damage. Laura she screamed in agony. Making her, ran away in a teleportation whisp. As the group, they regrouped in the new room. Seems to be another castle pathway. The Boss was more likely, stalking within her Boss room. Clearly badly damaged, by the guys combined ruthless attacks of the guys. But with the Boss, teleportation and corpse emergence abilities. She is a big annoyance. So Laharl decided to finish her, the next time that she tries to attack. Laura screamed with a echo, sounding off the Boss room. She must be quite angry, from all the attacks of six devils. Gyutaro wanted to rush in, and kill the Boss. But Ranma stopped him, telling the sickle-devil to look Laharl. Laharl he was done holding back. Gyutaro laughed. Knowing that Laharl-nii, doesn't hold back. When he wants to take down a enemy. Laharl banished his Vritra Zanbato Fury, back into his soul. He told the guys, that he'll utterly take everything out. By spamming his Overlord's Wrath. Issei knowing that Laharl-senpai is capable of summoning literal meteors. He had to ask, "Why don't you, just blast the Boss with that Meteor Impact of yours?" As the Boss rushed at Laharl, coming out of her room. Laharl wrapped his scarf around her, and tossed her back inside, he'd answered Issei's question. Saying, "First the attack is Meteor Impact EX. Second it exactly that, with Laura able to run soo well, it's more likely I'd miss and waste magical energy." this reminded him of Disgaea itself. As being in a extremely high level, can make even ultimate skills miss. Which made him think that it was best to just use, his Overlord's Wrath over and over, over using his Meteor Impact. Since he can not hit the Boss, he can also destroy the still in tact corpses, and more likely the Boss area as well. This will most likely result, in Laura's complete destruction. As not only it a powerful technique, its also fire based. Meaning much more damage towards the Boss. So channeling his demonic power, he went to work. As the Boss she'd screamed in anger again. Laharl already conjured, a vast multitude of massive, crimson hellfire balls, all around them. Holding up his arms, and the Overlord's Wrath back.
Feeling nostalgic. He said the OG-Laharl's catchphrase when using this attack. Saying out loud, "Bite the dust!!!" And just as Laura emerged again, Laharl swiped down his arms. And with it the multiple hellfire balls, blasted forward. Causing a massive explosion of hellfire. Engulfing the Boss, along with causing huge amounts of damage to the Boss room itself. The force of the blast, forced the guys block their eyes. As rocks, and other small debrie is flying everywhere. But Laharl, wasn't finished. He was already charging another Overlord's Wrath to fire at the Boss. After a bit, again a multitude of hellfire balls, appeared all around of Laharl and the others. Swinging down his arms, launching another barrage of hellfire balls. Causing another huge fiery explosion. And Laharl rised his arms, once again, charging another Overlord's Wrath to blast away the furnace room and Laura again. In a third massive explosion. Laharl paused. As the Boss area was completely destroyed, smoke and ash, mixed with ruined debrie. Everything was burned away. Only a large amount. Of red, blue, yellow, white, and greenish-yellow exp-drops, floated on the middle of destruction. A obvious sign that he'd killed Laura. Laharl, let a small discomfort sounding sigh, cause this is the first time using three huge moves, back to back to back. That when Issei and Ranma rushed in to congratulate, Laharl for his big win. With that Laharl and the other went to collect the exp-drops. Apart from Laharl, the group has leveled-up from the massive boost in their stats. Breaking into the next level, with that done. They'd looked around for the waypoint, finding it on the otherside that was a furnace. They walked into the waypoint, teleporting into the next area of the Horror Dungeon.
UNDERWATER CITY OF RAPTURE Location the Horror Dungeon Area 6
Gyutaro, Issei, Kiba, Ren, Ranma, and Laharl. They appeared in a new place. Some garden...with extreme water damage. A metallic place of copper, and steel. The smell of dampness, hitting the guys. Gyutaro made obvious comments, that where they are is dump. No one disagreed with Gyutaro. As they look at a set of stairs, leaving to another place of this area. It didn't take long, for them to find out where they are. Over a massive, seaweed and water rust arc, has a massive message. "Welcome to Rapture", Laharl spoke, "So we're in Bioshock now...(looking around, and humming before continuing)...obvious in the first games." Laharl he turned to the guys. He was about to explain were there are, they heard screaming and yelling. Pure mad rambling. As a bunch of people started pouring into the area. Dressed in tattered and dirty, suits and dresses. Some wearing masquerade masks, others showed their deformed, and clearly mad showing faces. Some armed with pipes, others with revolver type pistols. These are the main enemies of the Bioshock series, Splicers. Their varients classified by their abilities, and behaviors. The melee oriented ones, are simple splicers, while those with guns are known as Leadheads. Ren immediately responded. Running forward. With his StormFlower and arm spread wide, as the leadheads, started shooting at Ren. As the young devil's aura, deflected the bullets and damage. Closing the distance, meanwhile the pipe wielding splicers, they charged at Ren screaming like maniacs, and with pipes ready to swing. Those pipes, bented easily upon striking Ren. Without even damaging, Ren at all.
With a small smile. Ren performed a small, spinning leap. Slicing the splicers in a fatal spot, while airborne. He kicked a dead splicer, straight at a leadhead. Back on the ground, he started firing his sickle-smgs. Shooting apart the leadheads, and the remaining splicers he cut them down. It was quick and swift. The ADAM addict mutants, were all dead on the floor. Releasing red, white, and cyan exp-drops. Gyutaro laughed. Then started clapping his hands, in his brief interaction and fighting alongside Ren. He has come to respect the cool, calm, and aloof nature of Ren, along with his own strength. A bond is slowly forming there. As the guys, absorb all the exp-drops. Laharl didn't collect the bodies, but the guns, and...slightly...valued accessories. Still sellable, while the monsters of Bioshock aren't worth selling. All the antiques, some of the tech, and guns. Could prove a pretty penny from selling them, plus if he find anything good he can keep. Like some guns for display, and maybe a Big Daddy helmet. Then Laharl had an idea of using magic on a Big Daddy binding it, as a brand new familiar. That he can have a big daddy, as a worker in his aquarium. Keeping it in tip top shape, and feeding the creatures inside the aquarium, without worry. Gaining a good idea, Laharl told the guys about the area that there in right now. Talking about the theme of Bioshock, the monsters that they can expect. Plus the biggest issue of this place...their underwater. Deep below the sea. And none of them are truly gifted in magic, they can make up some temporary spell. But they won't be at Raven's level. Meaning they have to be really careful, not to get tossed out in the open waters. They nodded, understanding Laharl's warning. Ren even asked Laharl, "You've mentioned that there's three games of this Bioshock series, right?" Laharl looked at his friend and nodded. Ren then asked, if he can borrow those games, as he wanted to play them. Making Laharl, Ranma, Kiba, and Issei laugh, while Gyutaro still didn't know what video games are. Laharl commented that he'll lend the games, but did warn that the third installment...in his opinion was the most weakest of them all. Since Bioshock Infinite, quite honestly it's almost like they lost what made that series, itself. From underwater to a flying city. Then adding multiversal events, yeah the Bioshock team must have been, soo fucking high, when they were planing that game. But that wasn't important right now, they needed to go on.
As the guys went in deeper on the withered and ever declining, undersea city. Occasionally Laharl would find some thinket, or antique to store away. And sell much later. But aside that they came across more splicers, and leadheads. The ADAM junkies, practically announced that they're coming. Screaming the top of their lungs, as they attack the guys. Ren, Kiba, and Gyutaro make sure work of the splicers. While Ranma, Laharl, and Issei dealt with the leadheads. During these encounters, they fought against some splicers with powers. Throwing fire, ice, or telekinetic attacks at the devils. Since they didn't look different, than any Laharl simply called them Plasmid Splicers. They'd gave out yellow and orange exp-drops, when killed. As they traversed the sunken, steampunk style city. Laharl, wondered if there were any plasmid vials in this level. While it might be a double-edge sword in the Bioshock world, with Ajuka and maybe Gwen genius. They might fix all the issues, that plasmids have, and he can have another product to sell. Having some extra money is never a bad thing. But he'd doubt the Horror Dungeon would recreate that. Speaking from experience, from previous dungeon dives. Resources and drops aside exp, doesn't exist in the dungeon system, unless he finds another ability upgrade, like when he'd use it on his Demon Summoning System, a while back. As Laharl rambled about this, a splicer cake charging in. Appearing from what appears to be a bathroom. A woman with a pipe, Laharl just casually slashed his massive, eastern buster sword. The Vritra Zanbato Fury, cleave right through the splicer. A couple red, and white floating orbs. Manifested from the corpse of the latest splicer, Laharl being the closest. He'd absorbed all the exp-drops, as he looked at his friends and teammates. Gyutaro was messing around with a machine gun, that a leadhead tried and failed to used against him. Kiba, with Issei were looking out a massive glass wall. Seeing all the undersea life. Lastly Ranma and Ren, they were waiting for the others. As they've been taking a slow pace in this area of the Horror Dungeon, cause one bad move. And they'll flood the entire area. Along with screwing themselves. So this mean, that regrettably they can't go all-out in this level. Any of their big or powerful attacks, can finish destroying what is barely standing of this dungeon version of Rapture. Before Laharl could tell the guys, that they should keep going. When they heard splicers, leadhead, and most likely plasmid splicers are coming at them. Laharl smiled with excitement, spinning his arm, letting it sound like cracking. As Ren, Gyutaro, Issei, Kiba, and Ranma stood beside him. All sharing the excitement, and eagerness to keep fighting...
