The Sky-Breaking Saber slowed down, eventually stopping at the center of the storm. The fierce gales of wind began to pour into the blade, and within the gray light, the frantic motion gradually subsided into stillness.
Zhao Zuo wiped away the cold sweat that wasn't there, his heart pounding with tension.
'I hope I'm satisfied with this upgrade's new attributes.'
Back in the forest, Lin Hao had used that footwork to dodge the Sky-Breaking Saber's close-range attack. This meant that against foes at the Late Period of the Qi Cultivation Stage, the Sky-Breaking Saber no longer possessed the speed that once guaranteed a hit with every strike.
In essence, Zhao Zuo had lost a crucial trump card.
He sat in his bedroom for a while longer before the gray light finally, slowly, dissipated.
