The Lake God's gaze shifted slightly.
"What transaction?"
"I need the temple you have occupied..."
The Lake God frowned and refused straightforwardly.
"Absolutely impossible!"
Lear spoke calmly.
"This temple has something I need... I've noticed that you've been lurking underwater for some time, suggesting you lack the strength to occupy more temples."
"And when you captured the Divine Spirit, you gained the insights the temple offered."
"You know full well that you're already out of the running, incapable of competing with other Divine Spirits... If your temple weren't beneath the water, it would have been seized by others long ago."
"You should know how intense the competition is in the Original Plane."
The Lake God couldn't hold back.
"You're speaking so absolutely; as long as it's within the lake, who can violate my temple?"
"Yes, but what about in the Main Plane? Can you hold your ground there?"
