Its afternoon already. Irene had mentioned she was coming, so I made sure to clean my room up. She really has been busy with Kael; hence, we haven't been able to spend a lot of time together. I'm really happy we're getting to spend a little time at least.
A knock on the door jolts me out of my thoughts. A wide smile spreads across my face, and I jump out of the bed and rush towards the door, flinging it open.
"Irene!" I beam, jumping on her, and wrapping my arms around her.
"Bitch, I missed you," I giggle, pulling away from her.
"Guess you wouldn't have time since you're now with a man," I slightly elbow her arm, giving her a teasing smirk.
Surprisingly, her face remains blank. The smile on my face slowly disappears, then it gets replaced with deep knits on my face.
"Irene? What's the matter with you?" I hold her hand, and lead her in.
She bites her lower lip, and bows her head. She tries to hide him but I'm quick to see it. Her red, teary eyes.
