A deadly silence prevailed…
The angel's tension was clear on his face, scattered and uneasy.
And Serafiena looked at him with the same arrogance, confidence, and that terrifying smile.
At that moment, the angel realized he could not face Serafiena, and he turned to Ryo:
"No problem… let's just finish what we came for!"
The angel clapped four times.
With every clap, terror spread into the heart of every being on Earth.
And on the fourth clap, the Earth itself transformed into another place.
Serafiena and Ryo began to look around anxiously, bewildered.
The angel said to them:
"Do not worry, it is only another Earth, not the original one. We do not intend to destroy the real Earth."
The sky was covered with radiant wings, the ground trembled under the weight of thousands of heavenly authorities, and the air was filled with spiritual pressure capable of crushing mountains.
Yet, amidst all of this…
A blind child stood firm, holding the hand of the being who embodied life itself.
The angel shouted:
"Advance! Grab them!"
Millions of wings moved in a single moment, as if the sky had turned upside down.
Thousands of radiant spears launched, each capable of annihilating an entire continent.
Serafiena gasped:
"Ryo! That's too much even for you!"
But Ryo… smiled.
He lifted his head toward the sky, though he could not see, and spoke in a low voice, like writing magic, full of certainty:
"The weak die… because nature does not wait for the hesitant. When you see an army coming at you, it is natural to fear, but I… I feel excitement! Why?"
Ryo smiled with excitement.
For the first time, Serafiena was terrified of someone in her life.
And then he acted.
He extended his hand forward.
At that moment…
The air itself split.
A transparent black wave emerged, immense in power.
The spears collided with the wave…
And turned to dust before touching the ground.
The sky trembled.
For the first time, millions of beings took a step back.
The angel shouted in astonishment:
"Impossible! This is the power of a full-system specter! How can a child possess such strength?! Even the angels' spears, from the very fabric of the universe, cannot pierce it! Where did you get such power?"
Ryo laughed softly:
"You are mistaken."
He raised his hand again.
"I do not possess power… power has chosen me."
Space split, and a great, enormous sword appeared, larger than entire continents, and in an instant it cut millions of angels with a single swing.
Even the wave of air it unleashed was enough to shred all heavenly bodies in its path.
A massive angel charged forward, larger than a mountain, with a golden body and four fiery wings:
"I will crush you, child—!"
Before he could finish, his head vanished.
No one saw him move.
No one understood what had happened.
The giant body fell from the sky, turning mountains into ash.
Everyone fell silent.
The main angel swallowed hard:
"Movement… beyond comprehension?!"
Ryo said coldly:
"If you need violence to prove your strength… then you are not strong."
He took a single step forward.
Space trembled beneath his feet.
The world seemed to shiver in fear of his mere approach.
Serafiena looked at him in both astonishment and fear:
"Ryo… who exactly are you?"
He answered slowly:
"I am merely an exiled prince."
Then he raised his face toward the angel:
"You started the war… and now you want me to be weak?"
The angel shouted:
"You are threatening the heavens themselves! We are the representatives of order! We—"
Ryo interrupted, with disgust:
"You are weak."
The heavens froze.
All the angels were shocked.
Ryo raised his hand toward them:
"If you represent order… then the order is weak, and I will reshape it!"
At that moment…
A distant, deep sound emerged, as if coming from the heart of the universe itself:
Dong…
The Black Bell.
It rang again.
All the angels froze.
The main angel stepped back in horror:
"No… impossible! The Black Bell rang again?!"
Serafiena gasped:
"Ryo! The full curse has awakened!"
Ryo smiled:
"So… the world has finally chosen its true enemy. Let me see who will be able to defeat me?!"
In that war, Ryo, in just one minute, annihilated over twenty million angels.
Even though he did not speak.
Even though he could not see.
Even though he had only one arm.
Even though he was just a small child.
Even though his energy and power were unstable.
Yet he was the strongest, undisputed.
The sky split.
Black fiery chains emerged, wrapping around the sky and encircling Ryo, preventing him from escaping.
Millions screamed:
"The cursed chains! They're trapping the enemy!"
"Have we won?!"
Ryo said coldly:
"And do you think such nonsense can restrain me?"
He destroyed them.
Ryo used so much of his power that he was nearly exhausted, but he managed to destroy them and heal quickly.
He never expected them to be so strong.
They were mighty chains capable of binding entire galaxies—but powerless against a human?
The main angel said, trembling:
"You… what is happening exactly?!"
Ryo leaned slightly forward, as if whispering a secret:
"If the king is a criminal… then the entire kingdom is criminal."
With that sentence, Ryo meant the angel was the king, the Upper Dimension was the kingdom, and Ryo's law states:
"If the king is a criminal, then the entire kingdom is criminal!"
The angel realized the danger he had brought into his world!
Then he attacked Ryo in anger.
The battle erupted.
The sky turned into a luminous battlefield.
Millions of spears, swords, wings, and heavenly energies rained down from the main angel toward Ryo.
And amidst it all:
One child moved slowly…
Unbothered, as if dancing in the rain, whispering in his ear:
"Don't rush your death! Let me finish them first, then I will return to you."
Every step he took:
A thousand angels died.
A continent in the sky shattered.
Space itself bowed.
It was… unreal.
Ryo did not fight violently.
But with terrifying gentleness.
Every time he touched an angel:
They turned to white ash.
No screams.
No blood.
Only… disappearance.
Serafiena watched in shock:
"My god… he kills so gently… yet he is more terrifying than any demon I've seen…"
The main angel lost his mind:
"Stop! You are tearing the heavens themselves! The skies will collapse! The stars will fall!"
Ryo smiled:
"An order that requires weakness to endure… does not deserve to exist."
Serafiena said:
"Exactly as I predicted, the stars will fall tonight, but I did not expect them to fall at your hand!"
Suddenly…
The sky trembled.
A massive light fell from above, unlike anything seen before.
Golden light surrounded the angels within it like a prison…
Stronger than angels…
Closer to an impenetrable barrier of light.
Everything went silent.
And Ryo smiled.
"Goodbye!"
Serafiena gasped:
"What a terrifying power…!"
The heavenly entities screamed:
"We will die!"
…
The light rose and pierced space itself, engulfing everything around it, and then…
Boom!!!
The light shrank and exploded, annihilating everything inside, until stars fell from the sky like rain.
With that attack, the angelic army was completely annihilated—over ten billion angels were destroyed in an instant.
The main angel remained stunned, fell to his knees in despair, yet his anger was stronger:
"Ryo…
You have exceeded your limits."
Ryo smiled with terrifying confidence:
"I have no limit to stop at."
The angel raised his hand.
Reality bent.
Universes froze.
"I will show you the meaning of true power…"
Ryo raised his hand as well.
"And I will show you… the meaning of power that does not acknowledge authority."
Each formed a spear larger than stars in space.
They launched at each other with such speed that the fabric of space tore.
They collided.
The explosion destroyed everything in the universe; no one remained except Ryo, the main angel, and Serafiena, standing in a dome Serafiena had created so Ryo would not die in the void.
The universe itself vanished for a second.
Earth, sky, time, laws—
Disappeared.
Then suddenly, everything returned.
Serafiena restored the universe anew.
But the Earth was transformed into a crater the size of a continent.
The oceans evaporated.
Cosmic laws vanished, leaving no time or space.
Yet Serafiena restored everything again.
In the blink of an eye.
Not a second had passed before a clash resumed between Ryo and the main angel.
Ryo said eagerly:
"You… what is your name?!"
The angel replied:
"Arils. I am called Arils."
Ryo said:
"It is an honor to meet you."
Arils replied:
"Likewise!"
At that moment, Arils began to respect Ryo and recognized him as a formidable enemy of the heavens.
And he smiled.
"Let us finish this now!"
Ryo wiped blood from his mouth and replied:
"Yes, I am getting tired!"
Each prepared their final attack and unleashed their full power.
Their strength was so immense that reality itself had reshaped over a thousand times just to accommodate their existence without collapsing.
Arils and Ryo launched their attacks simultaneously. Before the collision, Serafiena formed a barrier around them to reduce damage to the universe.
The collision occurred before the moment of perception, before sound or light—before the actual event even happened.
Then a wave of air shook time and space across the lower and upper dimensions.
The explosion contracted.
Arils stood, but Ryo…
Fell to the ground, defeated!
Arils approached him and said:
"We have won!"
Ryo laughed:
"I did not expect to lose."
Arils smiled lightly:
"In reality, you have won, and no one can deny it. You are strong."
Ryo replied:
"The strong endure, and the weak inevitably fall—even if the weak is the hero! Will you kill me now?"
Arils answered:
"I will not kill you! After understanding your intent in the rebellion, I see you are not guilty, but a pure soul who did something wrong unknowingly."
Serafiena said:
"But surely you will punish him severely!"
Arils said confidently, without hesitation:
"I am not afraid of punishment. I came here to enforce justice, but…
I was deceived! Ryo did nothing wrong, he only wished to bring his friends back.
That is human nature—to do the impossible for those they love.
Therefore, I see that Ryo is innocent and I will not enforce the decision upon him."
Arils spread his wings and soared into the sky for the last time!
Then a light descended from the sky, piercing Arils' head, and he fell to the ground…
Dead.
Serafiena said:
"True, they are rulers and a fundamental form of existence, but they are merely pawns in a grand game. If they stray from the norm or refuse orders, they die.
He fulfilled his nature as an angel to spread justice, yet he died because of it!"
To be continued…
