On planet Earth, in one of its continents, there exists the continent of Arcadia.
Elnais was running at incredible speed, carrying a small dragon on his back.
After a long period of running, he arrived at a pristine white royal gate and said, exhausted:
"We've finally arrived."
He waved his hand, forming a magical circle, and the gate opened.
Elnais entered the gate…
Beyond it lay a vast forest, with an Elif standing guard on every tree trunk. One of them stepped forward and said:
"Welcome back, Your Majesty."
Then he looked behind and saw the dragon on Elnais' back, and shouted:
"A dragon!!! Kill it!"
When the other Elifs heard this, they charged at him with speed, but no one could touch him; Elnais was protecting it.
One of them said anxiously:
"Sir, let us kill it, it's a dragon!"
Elnais replied confidently:
"Why? Why should we kill it? Give me a convincing reason, and I will kill it myself."
The Elif answered:
"Sir, we all know that all dragons are descendants of the Dragon Emperor Nitharion, and the Dragon Emperor is an enemy of Heaven, and all enemies of Heaven must be exterminated!"
Elnais replied:
"Really? Then give me proof that everyone from the Dragon Emperor's lineage is an enemy of Heaven!"
The Elif said:
"Sir, we all know that long ago, the Dragon Emperor committed a sin unforgiven by Heaven, and all dragons in the universe were eradicated to purify the world of mistakes. This dragon is one of those mistakes!"
Elnais answered coldly:
"What a ridiculous world! Why do you think that because one person sinned, everyone else is guilty? That is a very stupid philosophy!
If the king is guilty, he alone is guilty; the kingdom is innocent!"
After a long discussion, Elnais entered the village with the dragon, by his own decision as king.
It was a village entirely of Elifs, a place where beauty itself was embodied in the land, with breathtaking nature and a clear sky.
The village was completely pure, just like its continent.
Elnais brought in the dragon.
But no one approached it; everyone feared it, seeing it as a mistake that must be eliminated. Many believed that the dragon had enchanted the king and made him its servant.
But Elnais paid no attention to what people said; he loved the small dragon very much.
And after two months, Elnais learned to speak the human language and finally began to understand the small dragon.
He spoke to it for the first time, nervously:
"Hello."
The dragon answered:
"Finally, you can speak my language."
Elnais was very nervous and anxious, stammering as he spoke, which was not surprising, since he was talking to a dragon.
Elnais:
"So… who are you?"
The dragon noticed Elnais' nervousness and said gently:
"No need to be tense; I will not eat you, for I am full."
Elnais asked fearfully:
"Does that mean if you get hungry, you might eat me?"
The dragon looked at him with a wide smile and said mockingly:
"Hmmm, I am feeling hungry."
Elnais ran away immediately, leaving no trace. If he could swim, he would have left the entire continent.
The dragon followed him, laughing:
"Do not be afraid, I was only joking with you."
Elnais calmed down and said:
"So… who are you?"
The dragon replied:
"Me? My name is Rin, a dragon who previously died from poison in a battle against a woman."
Elnais responded with astonishment and many question marks:
"Died previously?"
"Yes."
"But you are alive in front of me!"
Rin replied sadly, a tear in his eye:
"Apparently, the inheritance my father left within me was very strong and brought me back to life, but now I no longer have any powers linked to my father, so I must train from scratch. Previously, I fully relied on my father's power, but now, because I died and was resurrected with all the inheritance left within me, all my father's power has vanished!
I do not want to train! I hate training."
Elnais asked curiously:
"Excuse me, but who is your father?"
Rin:
"Oh right, I did not introduce him? He is the Dragon Emperor. What was his name? Wait, let me remember… Mathersona? What was his name? Why is it so difficult?"
While Rin was busy recalling his father's name, Elnais nearly died from shock.
Elnais, anxious:
"Do you mean Nitharion?"
Rin answered joyfully:
"Yes, that's him! Do you know him?"
Elnais did not answer; he fainted immediately.
Rin:
"Oh, what happened to you?"
Hours later, Elnais woke up, screaming in fear:
"What a terrifying nightmare! I dreamed I was speaking to the son of the Dragon Emperor!"
One of them said:
"It wasn't a dream, you really spoke to him."
Elnais turned and saw Rin, and said, tired and barely seeing him clearly:
"Who are you?"
Rin:
"The son of the Dragon Emperor."
Elnais faltered again, but Rin slapped him to restore his awareness:
"Stop that!"
Elnais replied, panicked:
"The son of the Dragon Emperor… you… carry the blood of a tyrant and the might of the ancient world, the ruler of the seven realms, the strongest… Nitharion, the Lord of the Supreme Dragons!"
Rin:
"It seems my father was indeed very great!"
Elnais looked at Rin with fear, and immediately bowed involuntarily, expressing complete submission:
"My lord, forgive my sin."
Rin was astonished and bewildered by what was happening, not understanding anything. But it was no surprise, for he was the heir of the being who ruled the seven great realms and the supreme lord of dragons known as the strongest creatures of the ancient world.
Rin, nervously:
"What are you doing? And what sin are you referring to?"
Elnais answered, his face showing clear remorse and fear:
"Please, forgive me, my lord, for not bowing immediately."
Rin transformed into his human form, but he was different: black hair, light brown eyes, pale white skin, dressed in royal black.
He stepped forward lightly, but each step produced a sound that instilled terror in anyone who heard it.
His gaze was cold, his spirit cold, yet full of confidence, as if death itself walked before you—something impossible to challenge.
He said coldly, in a terrifying tone:
"So, do you diminish your respect for me?"
Elnais, fearful:
"My lord, please…"
Before Elnais could continue, Rin spoke in a tone that made hell itself shiver with fear, his whispers cold:
"Then die."
To be continued…
