How was it even possible? Ryota glanced at Akujin, surprised by her action of slicing Nitaru's chest so viciously with such a merciless, violent intent in her eyes. All she looked like was an evil... that was only content when it consumed the joy and life of human lives. Her eyes gleamed with excitement and uncontained wrath, and Ryota knew it was pointless of even trying to defeat her when she was so bipolar. One second, she is strong and the other, she is weak. It might be part of why it's so difficult to face her in combat, Yuja thought.
Akujin sinisterly grinned as she saw Nitaru collapse to the ground after her attack, "This is your so-called hero? He couldn't even handle one little attack."
She laughed to herself, "What a pathetic human. Such strong spirit yet he lacked the combat skills."
Yuja and Ryota stood there shocked. Akito suddenly appeared out of nowhere, his eyes burning with anger, "No one just calls Nitaru that!"
Akujin grins, "And who are you to talk to me like that? You are nothing but a pestilence that wreaks of dreams for strength that is non-existent," she moves out of his way swiftly, lifting her golden sword quickly.
"Akito!" Ezra screamed loudly, stumbling as she sprinted forward with urgency.
Akujin's sword moved so quickly and skillfully that it looked like it hazed and like a phantom right through him. Everyone watched with widened eyes in disbelief. Then, suddenly, Akito's eyes widened, blood spurting from the corners of his lips as his body diced into millions, exploding. Ezra screamed, her eyes widening from the bloody scene that just occurred right in front of her. The ground was sprayed with the blood, and Akujin grinned wickedly.
"You....monster," Ezra glared at Akujin, full of boiling hatred ready to unleash with terrifying danger.
"What? He was pathetic and weak anyway. I did a favor for you since you couldn't bring yourself to getting rid of such a wretched weakling. What on Earth do they teach you these days? I find it hard to believe Tokima led an organization full of a bunch of twerps and douches who didn't know anything but to hold a weapon. This ridiculous combat style you all have is poorly conducted and that'll give me an easy win." Akujin sighs, scratching her neck with the hand that isn't holding the gold sword that has blood dripping down the sharp steel.
"It's unfortunate you think that way, Tokima. I wish you would understand how wicked you are. You are a disgrace, nothing short of the definition of wretched. All you do is psychotically kill the innocent. You insult everyone since you hold such an impossible standard, yet you have so many imperfections. Nitaru nearly killed you, yet you call him a weakling for an attack he didn't expect. You call him a weak Assassin, yet he nearly blitzed your entire body in half. I wouldn't think the way you do if that many things were against me, and yet you are so blinded by whatever mentally-no, psychotic mindset that you think and act with," Ryota dares to say, and a vein pops in Akujin's forehead, pulsing on her skin violently.
"I agree," Ezra speaks lowly, glaring at Akujin still with tears in her eyes, "You take everything that others hold dearly to them -- life, because it's something that doesn't exist in you, Akujin."
"Shut up!" Akujin growls, her hair flipping back as the wind suddenly picks up, "You don't know me."
Yuja grins, loving Akujin's hostile reaction, "No matter how much you pose yourself as a victim, we'll never forgive you for the unforgiveable crimes you have committed with full intention. Even Hell is mild for the crimes you have committed. I promise you, Akujin, you won't escape your crimes because judgement ultimately will decide your fate--here and in the afterlife."
Akujin had enough, "Shut the hell up!"
She slammed her sword into the ground, the ground cracking even more. Ryota grabbed Nitaru, with the aid of Gyonu, "We need to use defibrillators to revive him. The wound isn't too deep so he should be alright besides blood loss," Gyonu says.
"Theres no time to find defibrillators. I'm gonna have to revive him," Ryota says, glancing back to see Yuja, Ezra, Zak, and Ruka all fighting Akujin.
"You're right," Gyonu nervously shivers as he sees the intense fight unfolding, "We have no time. We need to bring Nitaru back or else we can't defeat Akujin, no matter how many numbers we have."
Ryota raises his hands, chanting the old cryptic language to revive Nitaru. Blue essence glows around the three, raising higher into the dark sky. Rain had slowed and thunder rumbled dangerously above as the blue essence grew stronger the closer it drew towards the unforgiving clouds.
"Please...work," Gyonu says weakly, glancing at Nitaru's beat up face, looking at the bruises, cuts, and the small trial of blood trickling down the corner of his lip.
Ryota finished chanting, the blue essence shooting down like lightning into Nitaru, the jolt of electricity throbs through Nitaru's body so viciously and aggressively. The jolt sends Nitaru's body to lift violently in response to the sudden jolt that mimics one of a defibrillator.
"Cmon, Nitaru...I can't lose you too," Ryota said as a tear rolled down his cheek and onto Nitaru's neck as he frantically clasped his hands together to prepare to perform emergency CPR.
Gyonu gasps, "Is it not enough?"
The fight continues to rage on, and Ryota tries to drown out the clashes of swords and destructive noises as he fully focuses his attention onto saving Nitaru's potential life once again. He couldn't give up. Not after all the times Nitaru never hesitated to put his life on the line, although only eighteen years old. He couldn't. Nitaru was the only chance of beating Akujin. The rage of witnessing Akujin kill Akari...see his parents dead from the poison of Akujin...these events could drive Nitaru to fight Akujin until his limbs fell off.
Ryota kept pumping his hands against Nitaru's chest, the explosions going on nearby being shielded by Gyonu as he protects Ryota and Nitaru.
"Don't give up...even if it feels hopeless," Ryota said through the tears that began to fall more frequently down his face, "Even in a world all consumed around the concept of time, never give up. We need you Nitaru...this battle isn't over...your life is not over..."
"Wake up, Nitaru...please..." Ryota begged, Gyonu watching the battle continue to rage on.
Ryota knew he had to keep trying. Nitaru had to wake up. He had too. No matter what it costs, Ryota was willing to sacrifice anything to bring Nitaru back. Ryota kept pumping his hands against Nitaru's chest frantically as he continued his attempts to bring Nitaru back to life, "Wake up, Nitaru, this battle is far from over..."
