Chapter 490 - Chapter 490

Loki had actually been avoiding Lucy and Hisui all along.

Compared to Marco, both Lucy and Hisui still summoned Celestial Spirits.

Loki didn't want to interact with them much, he didn't want to run into other Celestial Spirit companions.

Seeing Loki's attitude, Lucy felt certain her guess was correct—Loki must have done something wrong, which was why he couldn't return.

Before this, Lucy hadn't understood it at all, thinking Loki was just being inexplicable.

This guy had a strange "fear" toward her and her senior Hisui.

Now she understood—it was because he was afraid of encountering other Celestial Spirits.

Just as Lucy was about to delve further into Loki's issue, Erza and Mirajane came running over, calling out to them.

"Lucy, Gray, Loki! Were you attacked?!"

However, as they got closer, even without waiting for Lucy, Gray, or Loki to answer, Erza and Mirajane saw Bickslow lying on the ground.

This member of the "Thunder God Tribe" was clearly the attacker.

"We've already defeated him."

Gray, shirtless with his hands in his pockets, spoke up, looking cool.

He had been the main force in the battle. Bickslow couldn't beat him, even in a one-on-one fight.

"Great! Then let's hurry and help the others. The Thunder God Tribe is attacking everyone."

This outcome relieved both Erza and Mirajane.

With Bickslow defeated, they now had three additional capable fighters on their side, significantly improving the situation.

The members of the "Thunder God Tribe" had the advantage of launching surprise attacks, making it easy for them to succeed.

Although the "Thunder God Tribe" only had three members, they genuinely had the potential to wipe out all the "non-S-Class Mages" of "Fairy Tail."

Gray, Lucy, and Loki's performance made that outcome impossible.

"What about Laxus?!"

As soon as they heard the "Thunder God Tribe" was attacking everyone, Gray, Lucy, and Loki immediately thought of Laxus.

There was no helping it—if Laxus were to attack them, even the three of them combined would likely end up defeated.

"Laxus has been stopped by Marco. We don't need to worry about him. Our task is to defeat Freed, Bickslow, Evergreen, and that forbidden magic Thunder Palace in the sky."

As she led Gray, Lucy, and Loki toward the next battle location, Mirajane explained their mission objectives.

"The Thunder Palace has a full three hundred Magic Crystal spheres. No single person can destroy them all at once. We need everyone's strength!"

After understanding what the "Thunder Palace" was, Gray spoke up first.

Perhaps Marco could destroy the "Thunder Palace" single-handedly, but they probably couldn't.

"That's right. I calculated it—I can destroy at most two hundred on my own."

Erza nodded, agreeing with Gray.

She also couldn't destroy all those "Thunder Crystals" by herself.

"We need to find Warren and use his Telepathy Magic to gather everyone's strength, so we can all attack the Thunder Crystals together."

While inwardly marveling at Erza's terrifying strength—she could destroy two hundred—Gray shared his plan.

Once they found Warren, they could work together to have the entire guild attack the "Thunder Crystals" simultaneously, and destroying all three hundred of them wouldn't be difficult either.

"Where is Warren?" Lucy asked anxiously.

They had to do everything in their power to stop this "Thunder Palace."

She knew that this "Thunder Palace" was likely a test from Marco for them, and at the same time, a response to Laxus.

That guy Laxus always thought everyone was useless.

This time, they were going to prove their worth to him—they weren't just useless burdens!

"Caw!"

Just as everyone was worrying about where to find Warren, a crow flew over.

Warren was being carried through the air by the crow.

"Members of Fairy Tail! Beware of attacks from the Thunder God Tribe! I repeat, beware of attacks from the Thunder God Tribe! Please gather together! Do not go alone! Do not go alone!"

Warren's voice rang out, echoing in everyone's minds.

Flying through the air, Warren used his "Telepathy Magic" to pull everyone into Fairy Tail's telepathy network.

Of course, the range of Warren's "Telepathy Magic" wasn't enough to cover the entire city of Magnolia, which was why he was riding the crow all over the city, trying to notify every guild member.

Warren was originally responsible for contacting everyone, and Marco had even specially provided him with a crow as his "private aircraft."

It was finally coming in handy now, as he usually didn't use it.

Warren had originally been on his way to the guild when he witnessed the actions of Evergreen of the "Thunder God Tribe" firsthand.

Shocked, he immediately chose to spread the news.

Warren knew that he might not be able to defeat any one of the "Thunder God Tribe" members, so his first priority was to spread the news, not to rush into battle impulsively.

To spread the message, he even briefly overcame his fear of heights.

Warren, who was usually terrified of even standing a little too high, now forced himself to stay calm while flying high in the air.

"Warren! Come down quickly!"

Seeing Warren flying in the air, Gray immediately shouted.

Erza, Mirajane, Lucy, and Loki had already continued forward, leaving him to communicate with Warren and arrange things.

Warren had the crow land, and the moment he stepped off, his legs gave way and he collapsed to the ground, his face filled with fear.

For the sake of his guildmates, he had truly overcome his physiological fear just now.

Now that the tension had eased, the fear rushed back, leaving him unable to even stand steadily.

"Hurry, hurry, hurry! Warren! Gather everyone together! Don't worry about Freed and Evergreen anymore—Mirajane and Erza will defeat them! We have more important things to do together!"

Gray walked over, pulling Warren up from the ground.

He urged Warren to quickly gather everyone.

The top priority now was to solve the problem of the "Thunder Palace."

As for Freed and Evergreen, they wouldn't be able to launch any more attacks.

Erza and Mirajane had already gone after them and there was no doubt about the outcome of the battle.

Freed is strong and versatile, with his abilities, he would be among the top "S-Class Mages" in other guilds.

Evergreen's "Petrifying Eye" and "Fairy Magic" are also formidable, even capable of achieving a "first-encounter kill" against many powerful opponents.

However, when facing Erza and Mirajane, their strength falls somewhat short.

In fact, the two of them are even countered by them.

Erza has a prosthetic eye, which halves the effect of Evergreen's "Petrifying Eye" on her, significantly diminishing her combat effectiveness.

Meanwhile, Mirajane, who can take over demons, is essentially a superior version of Freed, who can "demonize" himself using "Dark Script."

Mirajane is the true "Demon."

Both Mirajane and Erza are well aware of these facts, so their division of labor is clear, with each assigned their respective opponent.
