Our, Accelerators and Alphas teams went to the semi finals.
- Lightning Shock, said Nari and shot a big lightning bolt at a man with black hair.
- Amida Inoue is out, the judge said. After we won that round we walked out of the arena.
- Well, that was easy, I said.
- Absolutely, Kamijo said.
- It's lunch after Accelerator's team and Alpha's team have fought? asked Saito.
- Yeah, so where are we going to eat? asked Nari.
- I will eat with Akemi and Kentaro, I said.
- Oh really, Nari said, disappointed. After we talked a bit more I headed to Akemi and Kentaro.
In the arena's public area.
- Hey, Akemi, Kentaro, I said when I got to them.
- Hi, you are doing better than I expected you would, said Akemi.
- I have? I asked.
- Yeah, answered Akemi.
- So who do you think will win? Team Accelerator or team Aiya? asked Kentaro. Team Aiya is Alpha's team.
- Team Accelerator, said Akemi before the judge said "It's time for the second semifinal match."
- On the right side, we have Team Aiya which consist of Aiya (Alpha), Norman, Baton and Carling but it seems like Norman won't be able to fight in this match either, the judge said as Alpha's team walked out. Alpha have long golden blonde hair and blue eyes. She wore a white shirt with gold details and white pants with gold details. On her right side stood Baron who had short blond hair and blue eyes. He was really big and had armor over almost his whole body. On Alpha's left side stood Carling who had short black hair and blue eyes. She wore a black shirt and black pants.
- And on the left side we have Team Accelerator who have Accelerator, Kichi Kondo, Akane Kimura and Hayami Nishimura, the judge said and Accelerators team walked out. Accelerator has short moppy white hair and red eyes. He wore a black t-shirt with white stripes and grey jeans. His body was basically just skin and bones. On his left side stood Kichi Kondo, who had neatly combed dark brown hair and brown eyes. Kondo wore a beige t-shirt over a white long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans. On Accelerator's right side stood Akane Kimura, who had long maroon hair tied in two low ponytails and red eyes. She wore a dark blue blazer on her shoulders like a cape and a dark blue pleated skirt. Over her chest she had bandages. Behind Accelerator stood Hayami Nishimura who had soft dark brown hair and dark green eyes. She is wearing a brown coat with a belt and a light brown skirt.
- Start, screamed the judge. Alpha took out her black sword and tried to cut Accelerator.
- Air Shield, said Accelerator and blocked Alpha's sword.
- That's not going to work, said Accelerator and showed a crazy smile.
- Tree Root, said Carling and a root came up from the ground behind Accelerator.
- Target Teleportation, said Kimura and teleported away Accelerator which made Alpha take the root instead.
- Speed Boost, said Baron and showed up behind Accelerator. Accelerator looked behind him in shock before Baron hit Accelerator with his tree club which made Accelerator fly into the wall.
- Accelerator! screamed Kimura worried.
- Melted Metal Beam, said Nishimura and a green ball appeared between her hands and then she fired the beam toward Baron who avoided it and tried to hit her.
- Melted Metal Beams, said Nishimura and a bunch of green balls appeared around her which she fired at Baron at the same time. Baron tried to avoid them but he couldn't avoid all of them. Multiple of the beams pierced his legs and arms.
- Baron is out, said the judge. Alpha appeared behind Nishimura and tried to cut her.
- Target Switch, said Kimura before Alpha could cut Nishimura and switched the positions of Accelerator and Nishimura.
- Higher Air Strike, said Accelerator and a bunch of wind over Alpha threw her into the ground. She got back up and pointed with her sword at Accelerator, asking "Is that all you can?"
- Air Boost, said Accelerator and pushed himself towards Alpha with a blast of wind.
- Air Blast, said Accelerator when he got to Alpha and made a ball of wind and fired it at Alpha but she avoided it and tried to cut Accelerator.
- Air Shield, Accelerator said and blocked Alpha's sword with a bunch of wind.
- Root Storm, said Kondo and a bunch of roots flew towards Accelerator and Alpha.
- Target Teleportation, said Kimura before the roots hit Accelerator and teleported him away. The roots threw Alpha into the wall.
- Aiya is out, said the judge.
- Come on, said Carling. Accelerator walked up to her and looked down on her. Carling looked up in fear and said "I… I… I give up" and fell down on her knees.
- Carling has given up which means that Accelerator's team have gone to the finals, said the judge. So it's Accelerator's team we will face in the finals, I though. Wonder how Nari will feel about that?
On our way out of the arena.
- So where are we going to eat? I asked.
- A new fast food place just opened not too far away here. What about that place? asked Kentaro.
- As long as it's not expensive, yeah sure, I said.
- It's not, Kentaro said before we headed there.
In the restaurant.
- So Kenji, do you think that you are going to win? asked Kentaro.
- No idea, I said.
- We are going to win this team tournament so easily, said someone. I recognized that voice. I looked towards the voice and saw Accelerator, Kondo and Kimura.
- It was absolutely worth paying her so much money to make her participate, said Accelerator. He looked around the restaurant and when he saw us, he walked up to us and asked "And who have we here?" He looked at me with animosity.
- What do you want? I asked.
- What? I can't say hi to an old friend? asked Accelerator mockingly. Since when have we been friends? I wondered.
- What do you want? I asked again.
- I just wanted to say that you might as well give up, considering how Misaka is, said Accelerator.
- We don't need her to beat you, I said and stood up.
- As long as we take you out early, we already know Kamijo can't win a four-on-one and protect Misaka at the same time, said Accelerator.
- That we will see, I said before Accelerator walked away.
- What have you done to make him hate you? asked Akemi.
- Don't know, I lied. I absolutely know.
- So you think you will win? asked Kentaro.
- I don't think we will win, I know we will win, I said and crushed the paper cup I was holding, spilling all my coke onto my hand.
- Shit, I said and took some paper and mopped up the coke. Honestly I don't know if we can beat Accelerator's team. Because of Kondo's passive ability, they can take me out with ease and since Nari just freezes up when she sees Accelerator, she won't be much of a help either. So it most likely only will be Saito and Kamijo who will fight their team and we have already seen that they can't beat Accelerator's team alone.
In the arena
- So what's the plan? I asked. Nari looked at Kamijo and asked "Kamijo, what plan do you have?" Kamijo looked at Nari shocked and put his hand on his chest, asking "Why is it my job to come up with a plan?" He grinned after saying that.
- Because I said so, Nari said jokingly.
- Luckily, I have a plan, Kamijo said defeatedly.
- Okay, so what's the plan? asked Saito.
- First of, Nari, sorry but you will have to withdraw from the match, said Kamijo and pointed with his thumb at the door. Nari looked at him confused and asked "Are you serious?"
- Yeah, Kamijo replied.
- Wait, why? Nari asked, confused and shocked.
- Sorry but you will just freeze up, so you would just be a burden, Kamijo said.
- What, No, I won't, right guys? Nari asked desperately and looked at me and Sait. Saito looked at the ground and apologized, meanwhile I looked away and said "Sorry but you are." She looked at us disappointed and then down to the ground and said "Okay." I'm sorry Nari, I thought while Nari walked out. Once Nari left the room Kamijo continued "So Fuji, you focus on Accelerator meanwhile I will handle the other three and Saito focus on putting us in position to fight with our targets with your teleportation magic."
- Yeah sure, it makes sense, Saito said.
- Are you sure you can handle them? I asked.
- Yeah, since I won't be fighting Accelerator and the other three at the same time, it shouldn't be much of a problem, Kamijo said.
