*The ninjas find Dr. Julien on the Endless Sea's shore.*
"What was that sound? The horns?" Julien asked.
"The Celestial Clock has reached zero. Garmadon's ultimate weapon is now operational and the Final Battle between good and evil has all but begun." said Wu.
"Now Lloyd must face his father." said Misako.
"But where's Nya?" Julien asked.
"She's been taken by the Overlord, but we'll get her back. At the moment, there are bigger things at stake, including all of Ninjago itself." said Wu.
"Who cares about Ninjago? Nya was my—uh, my...you know." said Jay.
Nalia looked over at Jay, listening to what he was about to say, but he didn't say a word that she could understand for their relationship.
"And she's my sister. I know her being captured is tough, but she's tougher. Tougher than most of us. We'll see her again." said Kai.
"Lloyd, your focus gives strength to invoking the power of the Golden Dragon. You cannot lose faith now. Everything rests on your shoulders." said Wu.
"But Sensei, you saw what happened when I tried to face my father. I-I froze." Lloyd glanced over at, Nalia for a short moment, before looking back at Wu. "I can't fight him."
"You must. It is written in the scrolls." said Wu.
"Remember, your father is just as scared." said Misako.
"Then the battle will be decided by who is willing to fight." said Wu.
"You won't be alone. I'll be right behind you. You have my Fire." said Kai.
"You have my Earth." said Cole.
"And my Ice." said Zane.
"And Lightning." said Jay.
"I'll always have your back, Lloyd, no matter what comes your way." said Nalia taking his hand.
"We're all in this together, kid." said Cole.
"What are we waiting for? Let's suit up." The team prepares for battle. "I'm ready." They run towards Garmadon's camp. "Get down, now." said Lloyd.
"They won't know what hit them." said Kai.
"Time to chop wood." said Jay.
"Ninja, go!" They break open the gates, but find the campsite abandoned.
"Uh, where the heck is everybody?" Jay asked.
"Ugh, and here I was all ready to release the thunder." said Cole.
"Well, this is a little disappointing." said Nalia.
"The ultimate weapon is gone. We're too late. Nya? Nya!" said Kai.
The Falcon screeches. "My Falcon friend wants to show us something." said Zane as the Falcon shows them the Garmatron's tracks.
"Whoa. That's one big weapon." said Lloyd.
"It appears to be heading toward the coast." said Zane.
"But why? Wouldn't he try to use it on us?" Lloyd questioned.
"Not on us. On Ninjago. He always wanted to turn our world into his own image. Now we know how it will be done." said Wu.
"But if he starts turning things evil, the balance will shift and allow the Overlord to cross over into our world." said Misako.
"Then we have to make sure that my father never fires that weapon." said Lloyd.
Zane notices that Dr. Julien is panting. "Father!"
"You go on without me. I'm an inventor, not a fighter. I'll only get in the way." said Julien.
"But what will you do?" Zane asked.
"I'll be back at the Bounty waiting for you to return in one piece. But don't worry, a part of me will always be with you." said Julien.
"Be well, Father." said Zane.
"Be safe." Zane catches up to the others.
"Um, is anyone else thinking about how this might be our final fight together?" Jay asked.
"Yeah." said Kai.
"Of course." said Zane.
"Yes." said Nalia.
"It's all I've been thinking about." said Cole.
"We've come a long way. It wasn't that long ago when Sensei first found us." said Kai.
"Hey." Jay chuckles. "You remember that time Kai thought he was the Green Ninja?" Everyone except Kai laughs.
"That was quite the memory." said Zane.
"He was so not." said Cole.
"Or what about when the Hypnobrai hypnotized Cole and we had to fight him?" The ninjas laughs.
"We should've just kicked his butt." said Kai.
"I wish I could forget that, it is not a pretty memory for me." said Nalia.
"Ha. You had to destroy my treehouse." said Lloyd.
"Or how about that time Sensei came out of the guts of the Devourer's belly" The ninjas groan. "drinking Tea?" said Zane.
"Oh, that was so gross!" said Jay.
"I almost wanted to throw up." said Nalia.
"Yeah. I thought he was a goner." said Jay.
Wu hits him with his Nin-Jô. "Wrong again, Mr. Emptyhead."
*They see someone run in front of them.*
"Whoa." Lloyd stopped everyone, and looked for any movement.
"I'm getting a bad feeling." said Nalia.
"Something is wrong here." said Cole.
"Where? Where?" Jay asked.
"Did I just see..." said Kai as he noticed something.
"I sense an evil presence." said Zane.
"Where? Where?" Jay repeated.
"Above us!" shouted Wu as someone uses Spinjitzu on Cole.
"Ow, my jaw! That hurt." said Cole.
Lloyd gets knocked off his feet by the Spinjitzu tornado. "Whoa!"
"Lloyd!" Nalia quickly ran over to help him up.
"No one does that to the Green Ninja!" said Kai.
The Spinjitzu stops, revealing Nya infected with Dark Matter.
"Nya!" shouted Jay and Nalia.
"That is no longer Nya." said Wu.
"What did he do to my sister?!" said Kai.
"He must've used the ultimate weapon to turn her into his own evil image." said Misako.
Nya growls.
"That is just going too far." said Nalia, not able to believe this.
"Garmadon must have sent her to slow us down. We have to stop them from firing that weapon." said Wu.
"What are we supposed to do? Use our Elemental Powers on her?" Cole asked.
"No! I don't want to hurt her!" said Jay.
"Yeah, I don't wanna hurt Nya." said Nalia, since she could never hurt someone close to her no matter who they were.
"Jay and Lia is right! We just have to find a way to keep her from—" Nya hits Kai with a flail. "hurting us."
"Well, we should think of something before Garmadon fires that weapon." said Zane.
"Lloyd, you go up ahead with Sensei and Misako, while we take care of Nya." said Cole.
"But you said you'd always be behind me." said Lloyd.
"We will be. We'll catch up as soon as we can." said Kai.
Nalia gently took his hand. "We'll be with you in spirit, Lloyd, so just hold on, and we'll catch up the sooner you know it."
Jay uses Spinjitzu, but was caught by Nya. "Oof. That hurt."
"The ninjas are right. We must go." said Wu.
"We'll still be behind you, son." said Misako as they leave.
Cole grunts and grabs her flail. "Not so fast, Sweetheart. This dance ain't over." He swings her, getting the flail out of her grasp. "Triple Tiger Sashay!" He is grabbed by Nya, who knocks him into the others.
"Ow, okay she isn't gonna make this easy for us." said Nalia, getting up as she pulled out her staff. "Please don't break on me."
"Lia, do you think you could maybe, give us a song?" Cole asked.
Nalia looked over at him with a raised eyebrow as she blocked Nya's attack without a look. "Really? Right now? I'm not sure how much that would help." She quickly dodged another attack and knocked Nya off her feet without hurting her.
"It would at least keep our spirits up." Zane as Nya uses spinjitzu on him.
Nalia bit her lower lip, thinking about it. "I think you guys have enough spirit already. Besides, I don't have any song in mind now that would work in this situation." She felt something around her left ankle before being pulled towards Nya and then thrown into a tree.
"Owww, that really hurt." mumbled Nalia.
Nya then goes on and manages to tangle Cole in her flail.
"This is not good!" said Cole.
"We have to help them." said Kai.
"Tell that to your sister, It's five against one and I think she's winning!" said Cole.
"Perhaps we can use our Elemental Powers, but without hurting her." Zane cuts Cole's chains with his Elemental Blade.
"I like it. Let's do it!" said Cole.
"Sounds like a plan." said Nalia.
"Lia, can you blind her for a sec?" Jay asked.
"You got it." said Nalia, as she went on to make a small sandstorm around Nya so she couldn't see.
"Augh! My eyes! I can't see!" said Nya trying to get the sand out of her eyes.
"Kai, quick. Cut that tree!" said Jay.
"No problem." said Kai.
"I know where you're heading." Zane freezes the tree, trapping Nya in an Ice dome.
"Sorry, Sis! This club just became a ninja only." said Kai.
*The Jamanakai villagers scream just before they get hit with Dark Matter. The Overlord laughs.*
"I tried." said Lloyd.
"I know." said Wu.
"It is done. The balance has shifted." said Misako.
"Stop laughing now! This is my victory! What's happening?" said Garmadon.
"You've helped offset the balance." The Overlord laughs. "Because of you, I can now cross over into your world. I'm finally free!"
"Wait a minute! You stole that from my playbook! Well, you can forget about it. Ninjago is mine!" said Garmadon.
"No. It was never going to be yours. It is mine!" said the Overlord.
Garmadon screams as a beam of light hits him.
"Sorry we're late. Did we miss much?" Jay looks at Garmadon. "Holy Unholy!"
"What the fuck!?" shouted Nalia in shock when she looked over at Garmadon.
"Language, Nalia!" said Wu.
"Sorry!" said Nalia.
Garmadon sees his hands turn into claws. "What is happening to me?!"
"Are you scared?! I'm scared!" shouted Jay.
"Something is very wrong here!" said Garmadon.
The Overlord possesses Garmadon. "The Metamorphosis has begun!"
"Metamorphosis?! What does that mean?!" Kai asked.
"Metamorphosis is a biological process by which someone or something changes into something new." Zane explained.
"Yeah, changes into something ugly." said Cole.
"Very ugly." said Nalia.
"Father!" shouted Lloyd.
"No, Lloyd. That is no longer your father." said Wu.
"But what about the prophecy? It said I had to face my father." said Lloyd.
"You still must, but now the Overlord has possessed him. Unlike your father, the Overlord will show you no mercy." said Misako.
"You can do this, Lloyd." said Kai.
"We're here and behind you all the way." said Jay.
"He's tough, but you're tougher." said Cole.
"We believe in you, Lloyd." said Nalia smiling at him.
"But we have to act before his evil gets more powerful." said Zane.
The Overlord laughs.
"Let's do this." said Lloyd.
"Ninja, go!"
"I need more evil, but where to attack next? Ninjago City." said the Overlord.
Wu and Misako attacks the Warriors before they reload the cannon.
"Jay!" shouted Wu.
"This one's out of the ballpark." Jay hits the Dark Matter toward the Endless Sea.
"See to it personally that the cannon is loaded!" said the Overlord.
"Krata vu!" He gets hit into the cannon. "Krata vu." Which fired him straight into Grand Sensei Dareth's Mojo Dojo. Everyone laughs.
"Nice going, Nalia!" said Wu.
"You just messed with the wrong dojo, mister." Dareth snaps his fingers. "Pupils, attack!"
"Fine, I'll load it myself!" said the Overlord.
"Look out, Jay!" Kai knocks out a Stone Scout and takes control of its blasters. "Sorry, only two can dance this dance."
"This ends now!" said Lloyd.
"The Final Battle has begun." said Misako.
"Let's hope he is ready." said Wu.
"All this time, everything has led to this." said Lloyd.
"Stupid boy. I've been planning this for thousands of years." said the Overlord.
"Eat green!" Lloyd blasts his Energy on the Overlord.
"Show him, Lloyd!" shouted Cole.
"Go, Lloyd!" shouted Nalia.
They continue fighting until Lloyd pushes him back into the jungle.
"Yes!" The Overlord comes back, unharmed. "No!" shouted Jay
"The battle for good and evil. I can do this for eternity, but can you? Your friends can't help you now. You are all alone," said the Overlord.
"No, I'm not! My father is still in you! He will fight with me." said Lloyd.
Garmadon fights the Overlord's possession. "Lloyd! Stay strong!"
"Fool, you cannot defeat me!" said the Overlord.
"I can try! Fight, Father!" shouted Lloyd, as he fires an energy beam at him.
"Lloyd!" shouted Garmadon.
"Fight him!" shouted Lloyd.
"He is the Green Ninja." said Kai.
Garmadon keeps fighting the Overlord's possession. "You will not... take..."
"Fight him!" shouted Lloyd.
"...my son!" said Garmadon.
"Your father is... gone!" The Overlord overpowers Lloyd and throws him.
"Nononononononononononono!" repeated Jay.
"Lloyd!" shouted Wu and Nalia.
Nalia rushed at the Overlord as she covered her staff in cosmic energy, attacking him with it. "You bastard!"
The Overlord quickly blocked the attack as he broke her staff before firing a purple beam at her, throwing her onto the ground.
"My son!" shouted Misako.
"Nalia!" shouted the ninjas.
The Overlord laughs while pointing the cannon at Lloyd. "You were always so... green." He pushes the button, but the Bounty defends him.
"I may not be able to fight, but I can fly!" Julien jumps off before the Dark Matter can affect him and destroys the Bounty. "That went well."
"Enough! We don't need to waste our time with their pestering! We'll go to Ninjago City to finish this once and for all!" The Overlord makes a portal to Ninjago City. But not before glaring over at Nalia. "I'll return for you and your powers soon, child."
"If they leave, that means we'll be stuck here with no way to get back! Get to the vortex now!" said Kai.
"Bye-bye! Forever!" said Nya.
"I'm there, I'm there!" Kai jumps, but the portal disappears. "Noooo!!!"
Lloyd grunts as she slowly raises his head. "Did I... did I win?"
"No. But you're alive." said Wu.
Nalia slowly got up, letting out a painful winch, as she felt her left shoulder was dislocated. "Okay, not my smartest move." She noticed and used her broken staff for balance as she walked over to the others.
"But the prophecy..." Lloyd falls when he tries to walk, but Nalia quickly gets to his side, having him lean against her good shoulder.
"Careful, Lloyd," said Nalia, trying not to move her bad shoulder.
"Easy, kid. You've been through a lot. Even Nalia." said Jay.
"My leg. Did we lose the Final Battle?" Lloyd asked, before looking over at Nalia. "Lia, your shoulder."
"I know, but nothing a song can't fix." Nalia gave him a small smile.
Lloyd shook his head. "You shouldn't waste your energy."
"Fine, I'll let it rest for a bit." Nalia pouted a little, but she wasn't that upset about it.
"What's important is, we didn't lose you." said Wu.
Lloyd picks up a piece of the Bounty. "The symbol for destiny. Destiny showed us who was stronger today. But destiny also wanted us around to fight another day. We didn't lose the battle. Today, we just lost the fight."
