A few minutes later, the door to Alessia's hospital room creaked open and a nurse walked in. She carried a tray of food with some packets of drugs at the side.
The nurse smiled when she saw that Alessia was sitting up. "You seem to be a little energetic today, Miss. How are you feeling?"
Alessia returned her smile. "I feel a lot better." She answered, moving to sit by the side of the bed, her leg meeting the cool floor.
The nurse placed the tray on a trolley and moved it over to her bedside. She poured in a glass of water and handed her a small steel spoon.
"That's good to hear." The nurse said. "You can already move without any pain, so you'll be discharged soon."
Alessia paused halfway with a spoonful of food close to her mouth. "Really? Isn't it way too soon?"
The nurse's smile broadened. "Of course not. The entire hospital has given you the best care that money can buy so you were bound to recover quickly."
