Alessia blinked. "That… sounds silly…"
Dervan's lips thinned. "I don't think it does, considering–" He paused, then let out a sigh. "Go back to sleep. You shouldn't be talking so much in the first place."
Alessia turned away from him. "I… can't."
He raised a brow at her. "Why not?"
Alessia tried to shift, but the piercing pain at her side stopped her, making her wince. "I'm hungry."
As if on queue, her stomach let out a low rumbling sound and silenced stretched in the room.
After some seconds, Dervan blinked. "I see…"
Alessia wanted to hide her face from embarrassment but before she could say or do anything else, Dervan stood up and crouched at the base of her bed.
She tried to turn her head to look at him. "What are… you doing?"
Dervan didn't answer. The only response she got was her head, together with the top half of her bed being raised into a semi–sitting position.
Alessia winced, expecting pain but nothing came. She blinked at Dervan who was already sitting down.
