Just after Dervan's statement, a lady wearing a short, knee-length lavender gown with white heels stepped into the foyer. Her hair was the color of raven feathers, packed into a neat bun. The makeup on her face was extremely light, making her look like more of a natural beauty.
When she got just a few meters from where they stood, she bowed slightly. "Welcome, Mr. Salviati." She greeted. "I've cleared out the store just like you asked me to but please pardon me, I had to keep at least one person to assist…"
Dervan raised a brow. "But I told you that I wanted you to be the only one here."
The lady stiffened. "I apologize."
There was silence between them for a long time.
"I originally wanted just you for the sake of my wife. She is sensitive to strangers, and you are already too much to handle for her, talk more of one extra person…" Dervan said. "I'm afraid we will have to leave."
'Wife?' The Lady's eyes widened. 'Dervan Salviati has a wife?! Since when?!'
