Dervan nodded. He figured as much. When they got close enough to the entrance of the apartment complex, stares were directed their way and Alessia lowered her head in an effort to avoid them.
"Raise your head, Alessia." Dervan said, tilting up her chin with his index finger. "You are now my wife, you shouldn't shy away from common stares."
Alessia nodded slightly, trying her best to look as confident as she could while ignoring the stiffness in her joint.
"Register my unit under her name as well." Dervan voiced the moment they arrived in front of the counter, making Alessia give him a bewildered look.
The receptionist blinked at him, at a total loss for words. Dervan had to raise a brow at her before she came back to her senses.
"Pa–pardon?" She asked, then shook her head slowly. "Sorry. What name is that, Sir?"
Dervan didn't hesitate. "Alessia Merrin Berger."
