"No, not today." Dervan said with a little shake of his head making Alessia sigh in relief. "Tomorrow."
She stiffened and her eyes widened in shock. "A–aren't you tired?" She asked. "Don't you need rest?"
Dervan huffed. "They say a good night's sleep replenishes a lot of energy."
Alessia slumped back into her seat dejectedly. "Are you some kind of horse?"
Dervan raised a brow. "What's that supposed to mean?"
She turned her head slowly to look at him. "Kiera told me once that horses have a lot of stamina and that they hardly ever get tired…" She suddenly jolted upright, almost startling Dervan.
"The letter!" She requested sharply, making him freeze.
"When we get home–"
"No, I want it now." She glared up at him.
Dervan sighed and rubbed his temples. "What if I'm not with it here?"
"Then I wouldn't believe you." Alessia told him firmly. "You have some kind of dimensional storage inside all of your pockets, it has to be in one of them!"
